For example, they poured boiling water on his head, leading to permanent hair loss in that area. Guards also used pliers to pull his teeth. He was denied sleep for several days, and the guards would not let him use the toilet. As a result, he often had to soil himself. The guards also kept his hands and feet cuffed.
Mr. Cui Weikai, 68, was the chief doctor of the Cangsi County Disease Control Center. On March 26, 2010, the 610 Office and police from the National Security Team arrested him because they suspected that he had distributed truth clarification materials. The police persecuted him brutally. He was beaten so badly that he was sent to a hospital, but his hands and legs were still cuffed. The police also extorted money from his family.
Mr. Cui was fired from his job in 2000 because he was steadfast in his belief in Falun Gong. He was arrested five times by the 610 Office and the National Security Team.
