(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces. In this report, 7 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Mr. Cheng Liyun Persecuted to Death
Mr. Cheng Liyun from Jingguan Town in the Beibei District in Chongqing was persecuted in a forced labor camp for two years. After his release, he was constantly threatened by authorities. Mr. Cheng died as a result of the persecution on the evening of June 15, 2010, at 56 years old.
2. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Weijing Taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp
On May 25, 2010, Ms. Liu Weijing from Tongjiangkou Township, Changtu County, was sentenced to a one-year term of forced labor and taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
3. [Hebei Province] Several Practitioners Persecuted Again by Baoding City 610 Office and Zhuozhou City Public Security Bureau
On June 13, 2010, staff from Zhuozhou City Public Security Bureau, Baichigan Township Police Station, and the Baoding City 610 Office arrested several practitioners again. Ms. Zhou Shuhong and Ms. Wang Lixia from Baichigan Township were arrested on the same day, while Ms. Wang Yuhong and Ms. Chen Yuhong were harassed at the same time. Officials confiscated a computer and Falun Gong books from Ms. Zhou Shuhong's home, and a computer from Ms. Wang Lixia's home.
It is now known that the female practitioners were taken to Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp and the male practitioners to Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp.
4. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Guirong from Dingxing County Arrested on June 12, 2010
5. [Kunming City, Yunan Province] Mr. Yuan Xingshou Arrested
Mr. Yuan Xingshou from Kunming City was arrested while he was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in public on June 17, 2010. His whereabouts are still unknown.
6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liang Yanxia Arrested
On the afternoon of June 17, 2010, Ms. Liang Yanxia from Dingxing County, Baoding City, was arrested by the Lianggezhuang Police Station while she was handing out materials and explaining the facts about Falun Gong. That afternoon, she was taken to the Qilizhuang Detention Center.
7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Facts Concerning the Persecution of Ms. Yue Guilan and Ms. Zhang Yufen
Ms. Yue Guilan, Ms. Zhang Yufen, and other practitioners were arresting while they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Hongguang, Pi County. Their whereabouts are unknown.

9. [Boye County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhu Suyan's Home Ransacked
At about 11:00 a.m. on June 20, 2010, officers from the Boye County Public Security Bureau drove to the Beiyang Village in Beiyangcun Township in two vehicles, then ransacked Ms. Zhu Suyan's home. Officials confiscated a printer, printing paper, CDs, and other items.
10. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunqing Arrested, Taken to Harbin City No. 2 Detention Center
11. [Chongqing] Ms. Li Quanfeng from Rongchang County, Chongqing Arrested on June 14, 2010
12. [Tumen City, Jilin Province] Ms. Tao Xiuzhi, Additional Practitioners Arrested
At about 10:00 a.m. on June 19, 2010, Ms. Tao Xiuzhi and Ms. Li Shunji were arrested by the Xinhua Police Station for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in Tumen City. Officers broke in and confiscated a computer. When they heard the news, local practitioners Ms. Tao Xiulan and Ms. Chi Suqin went to the Xinhua Police Station to demand the release of Ms. Tao and Ms. Li, but the petitioners were also arrested.
13. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Min Subin Arrested Based on False Evidence, Taken to Forced Labor Camp
On May 14, 2010, Ms. Min Subin from Pengshan County was arrested based on false evidence while she was distributing materials about Falun Gong in Shifang City. She was jailed for 15 days in the Domestic Security Division of Shifang City Public Security Bureau. On the afternoon of May 28, she was taken to a forced labor camp.
14. [Yichang City, Hubei Province] Mr. Zhao Jucai and Mr. Fan Changhua Sentenced
In March 2006, Ms. Zhao Jucai from Yidu, Yichang City, was sentenced to five years imprisonment by Yidu City justice organizations.
In January 2007, Mr. Fan Changhua from the Xiling District in Yichang City was sentenced to three years imprisonment by Xiling District judicial authorities.
