(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, at least 11 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Xinhuang County, Hunan Province] Police Fail to Arrest Ms. Liu Aiping
Ms. Liu Aiping from Xinhuang County was going to go shopping at a grocery store around 10:00 a.m. on June 7, 2010, when police officer Cao Riquan stopped her and opened her purse without her permission. He didn't find anything of interest and left.

3. [Siping City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guan Xiaofang and Ms. Zhang Jinqiu Arrested
Several officers from the Sima Road Police Station in the Tiedong District broke into the workplaces of Ms. Guan Xiaofang and Ms. Zhang Jinqiu on May 14, 2010, and arrested them. The practitioners are in the Shuangliao Detention Center.

4. [Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Tang Guirong's Forced Labor Term Extended
Ms. Tang Guirong from Hegang City was subjected to a two-year forced labor sentence. The term expired on June 4, 2010. Harbin Drug Rehabilitation Center officials refused to release her. Ms. Tang's circumstances are unknown.

5. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Yuefeng and Ms. Yu Guilan Arrested
Ms. Wang Yuefeng, in her 60s, and Ms. Yu Guilan, 59, working part time at Tonghua Normal University, were arrested on the morning of June 1, 2010. Officers from the Dongchang District Police Department made the arrests and ransacked Ms. Yu's home.
6. [Shanghai] Ms. Rong Huijun and Others Arrested
Ms. Rong Huijun and another practitioner spoke with people about Falun Gong in the Minxing area on the morning of June 4, 2010. As they were about to return home by bus around 11:00 a.m., two plainclothes police officers grabbed them and pushed them into a black sedan. The two practitioners were later separated and placed in two different police vehicles. Ms. Rong was handcuffed. They were finally taken to the Caohejing Police Station in the Xuhui District and interrogated. The other, unnamed practitioner was transferred to the police station affiliated with her residential area. She returned home safely that same afternoon. Ms. Rong is still in custody.

7. [Shucheng County, Anhui Province] Ms. Feng Chunfang Arrested
Ms. Feng Chunfang, 65, was arrested at home around 10:00 a.m. on May 26, 2010.
8. [Haicheng, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yu Shuxiang Arrested; Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Yu Shuxiang from Wangshi Town was arrested as she spoke with people about Falun Gong in Xifeng, Tieling. Her whereabouts is unknown.
9. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Kun Held in a Brainwashing Facility
Mr. Zhang Kun, 35, is employed by the Daqing Natural Gas Company Equipment Station. He worked the night shift on June 7, 2010. Daqing Natural Gas Corporation Security Section personnel and police officers from the Changqing No. 1 Residential Area arrested him at 8:30 a.m. on June 8, 2010. They took him to the Wuchang Brainwashing Center at around noon.
10. [Miyi, Sichuan Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Long Qiong was arrested on May 28, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong.
Li Xuesong from the Miyi Domestic Security Division and others broke into Ms. Huang Xiuzhen's home at around 7:00 p.m. on June 2, 2010. They also arrested Mr. Wang Xiangfu and his wife, Ms. Huang Xiuzhen. The couple was released because their son-in-law agreed to be their guarantor.
Police officer Li Xuesong threatened Ms. Huang and her husband not to speak with people about Falun Gong; otherwise he would take them into custody. He declared that Ms. Huang would only receive 500 yuan out of her monthly 1,000 yuan pension.
610 Office agents and personnel from work have kept Ms. Jiang Yilan, who is retired from the Miyi County Food Bureau, under long-term surveillance. Her pension has been unreasonably reduced. The Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) published an account of Ms. Jiang's plight and ordeal. After that, personnel from the Food Bureau harassed her at home on June 3, 2010, questioning her about the Minghui report.
11. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ren Xiuhua Arrested
Ms. Ren Xiuhua from Kenli County was arrested on the morning of June 6, 2010, as she spoke with people about Falun Gong in Haojia Town. Plainclothes officers from the Haojia Town Police Station made the arrest. She is now in the Kenli County Detention Center.

12. [Jiangxi Province] Mr. Wu Xiaobing Persecuted; Whereabouts Unknown

Xinglong County 610 Office agents recently told officials from the county Archives Bureau to suspend Mr. Huo Fengcai's wages and attempted to have him sent to a brainwashing facility.

14. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Nianzhu and Others Arrested
Officers from the Wulin Police Station arrested Ms. Zhang Nianzhu, Li, and Ms. Hou Yuxiang on the afternoon of June 6, 2010. Ms. Zhang and Li are in their 60s, and Ms. Hou is in her 50s.
15. [Xishui County, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhao Xiaoyu and Others Held in a Brainwashing Facility
Ms. Zhao Xiaoyu was taken to the Wuhan Brainwashing Center around June 5, 2010, but was released because she showed sickness symptoms. The police arrested Ms. Wan Xuemei on the afternoon of June 8, 2010.
16. [Shandong Province] Wangcun Women's Prison Guards Instruct Prisoners to Beat Practitioners
Guards in Division 2 at the Wangcun Women's Prison incited criminal inmate Zhao Xini to brutally beat practitioner Ms. Chen Zhenbo, an accountant employed at the Pingdu City Seeds Company in Qingdao. Zhao also grabbed Ms. Chen by her hair and hit her head against the ground. Ms. Chen was dizzy and had a headache. Her swollen left leg made it impossible for her to stand. She had to lie on her back.
17. [Tianjin] Wuqing District Detention Center Head Extorts Money from Practitioners' Families
Wuqing District Detention Center head Zhao Guoquan and deputy head Liu Xiangyang extort money from practitioners' families. The families are forced to pay 100 yuan each time they come to visit their practitioner family members; otherwise no visitation is permitted. No receipt is provided, either.

Li Jiuzhou from the Shangjie District Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Wu Chunsheng on May 31, 2010, without reason. Mr. Wu is now held in the Gongye Road Detention Center.

Ms. Zhu Yijiao told her students about Falun Gong on June 7, 2010. A student reported her to the police. She is now in the Baguazui Detention Center.
20. [Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province] Ms. Chang Xiujuan Harassed and Intimidated
Ms. Chang Xiujuan from Haiyang Town was arrested on May 6, 2010, as she distributed information about Falun Gong in Fanzhuang Village. Officers from the Haiyang Police Station made the arrest. Ms. Chang developed high blood pressure symptoms during detention and was released. CCP agents have kept harassing, intimidating, and pressuring her since her release.

22. [Chongqing] Ms. Tang Xiaoling to be Held in Custody for a Year
Ms. Tang Xiaoling was arrested on March 26, 2010, as she distributed information about Falun Gong at Sanxia Square in the Shapingba District. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
