(Clearwisdom.net) On Saturday, June 5, 2010, the annual Newark Night was held on Main Street in Newark, Delaware. Close to 30,000 visitors joined the event. It was a Newark City government-sponsored event, initiated in 1985. It is one of the most important local events.

More than 200 organizations and business groups from Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland and New York states participated in the event.
Falun Gong practitioners were invited to participate for the 10th year. They demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Many people expressed their interest in learning Falun Gong and left contact information.
The Greater Philadelphia Minghui School was the only Chinese language school that participated in the performance. The Minghui School students performed the dance "Planting Lotus" and played waist drums, winning applause again and again.
