(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 23 cities or counties in 13 provinces. In this report, 11 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 26 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Changzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Three Practitioners Including Mr. Xu Ming Arrested
Mr. Xu Ming (49 years old), Mr. Yang Chanrong (about 50 years old), and Ms. Liao (47 years old) from Changzhou City were arrested on the morning of May 26, 2010. Their whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Fenglan Arrested
Ms. Wang Fenglan from Liaocheng City was arrested by officers from the Niudian Police Station while she was handing out materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong.

3. [Yichun City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Yu Wuping Harassed Many Times
Mr. Yu Wuping, an employee of Ta-Nb Mine in Yichun City, was unlawfully jailed in 2004. Since May, 2010, he has been harassed by police officers many times and his home computer was confiscated.
4. [Fusong County, Jilin Province] Additional Information about Ms. Wang Liqin's Arrest
Ms. Wang Liqin was turned in and arrested on May 16, 2010, while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong and trying to persuade people to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party. She was taken to Baishan and has been on a hunger strike.
5. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Meilan Arrested
At about 8:00 p.m. on May 7, 2010, staff from the Luofa Town Committee of Political and Legislative Affairs in Langfang City and officers from the Luofa Town Police Station charged into Ms. Zhang Meilan's home and arrested her.

6. [Chongqing] Mr. Zhang Yixiu Arrested
Mr. Zhang Yixiu in the Nanan District of Chongqing is 75 years old. At about 6:00 a.m. on May 27, 2010, a security clerk found him distributing materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong in the Haitangxiaoyue residential quarters of the Nanan District. Mr. Zhang was then arrested by officers from the Haitangxi Police Station.
7. [Duyun City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Liang Rongqi Arrested
On May 27, 2010, Ms. Liang Rongqi in Duyun City, Qiannanzhou, Guizhou Province, was arrested at home. Her printer, copy machine, computer, and satellite dish were taken away.
8. [Dongguan City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liang Fengchun Arrested
On the evening of May 6, 2010, Ms. Liang Fengchun in Humen Town, Dongguan City, was arrested. Her pharmacy was ransacked at the same time and her girlfriend was also arrested. No further information was available.
9. [Bayannaoer City, Inner Mongolian] Ms. Cui Xueqin Arrested
On about May 10, 2010, Ms. Cui Xueqin (about 48 years old) in the Linhe District, Bayannaoer City, was arrested by officers from Linhe District Domestic Security Division.
10. [Puyang City, Henan Province] Practitioner in Her 60s Arrested and 20,000 Yuan Extorted from Her Children
Ms. Cheng Xinyue is in her 60s. On the evening of April 23, 2010, officers from Domestic Security Division of the Puyang City Public Security Bureau and officers from the Shenglilu Police Station barged into her home. They took away Falun Gong books and materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong. They arrested Ms. Cheng and took her to Puyang City Public Security Bureau, where she was handcuffed to a chair for the whole night. The next day, an officer from Puyang City Public Security Bureau took her to a detention center. After having extorted 20,000 yuan from Ms. Cheng's children, they allowed a family member to take her home.

11. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Mr. Bai Jingzhi Arrested
Mr. Bai Jingzhi, who was arrested by staff from Huadian City 610 Office on January 11, 2010, is imprisoned in the Huadian City Detention Center. On May 25, Huadian City Court tried Mr. Bai secretly. On May 26, his elder sister and younger sister were arrested in Hongshi Town, Huadian City. His elder sister has been released but his younger sister is being held in the Huadian City Detention Center.

12. [Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Liu Hongxin Arrested by Officers from the Keshan Farm Branch of Public Security Bureau
On May 14, 2010, officers Li Chen and Liang Rui from the Keshan Farm Branch of the Public Security Bureau in Heilongjiang Province barged into Mr. Liu Hongxin's home. They took Falun Gong books, a computer, a printer, and other items, and arrested Mr. Liu, who was cooking at the time, and his wife Ms. Li Yingju. Mr. Liu is at his 70s. They have both been released.

13. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Shiqin Taken to Brainwashing Center
On May 13, 2010, staff from the Yushu City 610 Office, officers from the Domestic Security Division of Public Security Bureau, and staff from Neighborhood Committees arrested Ms. Wang Shiqin and took her to Huaijia Township Brainwashing Center in Yushu City.
14. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Meng Qingfang Arrested
On the afternoon of April 25, 2010, Ms. Meng Qingfang was arrested by officers from the Paoya Police Station while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Ms. Meng is now in the Yaojia Detention Center.
15. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhu Yali Arrested at Her Workplace
At about 3:00 p.m. on May 27, 2010, Ms. Zhu Yali, an employee of Changchun City Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, was arrested at work by officers from the Yihelu Police Station in Changchun City and staff from the 610 Office of Yongchang Neighborhood Committee. They took her to the Changchun City Brainwashing Center.

16. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Aiqin Arrested
On May 25, 2010, three practitioners including Ms. Li Aiqin were arrested by officers from the Laoda Police Station while they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong and handing out flyers around Laoda Coal Mine.
17. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Additional Facts about Ms. Wang Huili and Ms. Li Zhilan's Arrests
Ms. Wang Huili and Ms. Li Zhilan were arrested at a car wash by Chen Wei and other officers from the Zhonggong Police Station. Ms. Li refused to cooperate with officers' orders and was released that same evening. Ms. Wang Huili is still in the Zhonggong Detention Center.

18. [Huxian City, Henan Province] Ms. Li Rongzhi Arrested
Ms. Li Rongzhi in Huixian City is at her 60s. On May 22, she was arrested at home and taken to the Yanjin County Brainwashing Center.
19. [Beijing] Ms. Li Zhanjin Persecuted
Ms. Li Zhanjin, 62 years old, was a senior engineer at Beijing University. After July of 1999, she was forced to resign because she would not give up Falun Gong practice. On every sensitive day, she was taken to a local police station. She was detained twice and taken to a brainwashing center twice. From 2001 to 2003, she was held in a forced labor camp for one year and six months. At the end of 2009, she was arrested again and has been jailed ever since.
20. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Zongfeng Arrested
Ms. Wang Zongfeng in the Dongli District of Tianjin was arrested on May 23, 2010 ,when she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in a market. The next day, officers from Domestic Security Division of the Dongli District ransacked her home and took away a computer, a printer, and Falun Gong books.
21. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ma Guiying Persecuted
Ms. Ma Guiying in Hefei City is in her 50s. On April 8, she was arrested at home by officers from the Wuhulu Police Station and taken to a brainwashing center. A few days later, she was moved to a detention center. Now they are going to move her to a forced labor camp.
22. [Xining City, Qinghai Province] Additional Persecution Information about Ms. Zhang Qingyuan
Ms. Zhang Qingyuan, 37 years old, was a primary school teacher in Beijing. In 2000, she was fired by the school because she appealed for justice for Falun Gong. In the middle of July, 2001, she was arrested in Xining City and sentenced to three years in a forced-labor camp. Her term was later extended for another six months.
In the winter of 2004, officers ransacked Ms. Zhang's home and found some materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong. She was arrested again and sentenced to another year and six months of forced labor.
On April 17, 2010, when she was handing out materials explaining facts about Falun Gong, she was arrested again by officers from the Chengdong Branch of Xining City Public Security Bureau. Ms. Zhang is now imprisoned in Xining City No. 2 Detention Center in Qinghai Province.

23. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Ying Arrested
At about 8:00 a.m. one May 27, 2010, when Ms. Wang Ying in Shengfang Town, Langfang City, was taking her child to the Miaomiao Kindergarten, officers from the Hexi Police Station of Shengfang Town arrested her at the door of the kindergarten. They took Ms. Wang to the Langfang City Brainwashing Center.

On the morning of May 19, 2010, Huang Jinhong from the Lingshou County 610 Office in Shijiazhuang City and Shi Zhongqiu from Nanqingtong Township charged into Mr. Bai Guofeng's home and arrested him.

25. [Luohe City, Henan Province] Additional Information about Mr. Zhao Xiang's Arrest
Mr. Zhao Xiang in Wanjin Township, Luohe City, was arrested on May 19, 2010. He is now in the Xiping County Detention Center in Zhumadian City.

26. [Shifang City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhou Yubao Arrested
On the evening of May 26, 2010, Mr. Zhou Yubao was arrested at home by police from Shifang City. His whereabouts is unknown. Mr. Zhou's wife, Ms. Chen Ru, was arrested two years ago and sentenced to three years imprisonment. She is still in Yangma Town Women's Prison in Ziyang City, Sichuan Province.
27. [Xichang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Song Pingxiu Arrested at Home
At about 9:30 a.m. May 25, 2010, Ms. Song Pingxiu in Xichang City was arrested at home. Her Falun Gong books and materials were taken away. She is now confined in a brainwashing center.
28. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Xu Shiyin Arrested
Ms. Xu Zhiyin in the Tianhe District, Guangzhou City, was arrested at about 10:30 p.m. on May 23, 2010. She is now in the Tianhe Detention Center.
