(Clearwisdom.net) At noon on May 7, 2010, a group of policemen from the National Security Team broke into the tailor shop belonging to Hu Ronghuan, a Falun Gong practitioner in Xichang City. They apprehended her, confiscating her scissors, a computer and a printer. The police said the computer was confiscated because the Minghui website (Chinese version of Clearwisdom) was displayed on it.
During the arrest, Hu's husband begged them not to touch their grandson because he suffered from a rare blood disease and he had just come back from the hospital. He could not stand any pressure or else the disease would return. A young policeman ignored the request and firmly grabbed the child's arm.
The violent act immediately made the child's arm turn purple, and he again became ill. His family had to send him to Chengdu Hospital, a thousand miles away, to be treated again.
The child's maternal grandmother, He Zhengqiong, started to practice Falun Gong in 2005 when she was seriously sick, but had no money to go to the hospital. After a few months, her diseases disappeared. She wanted more people know that Falun Dafa is good and benefit, so she distributed flyers and CDs to clarify the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong. He Zhengqiong was arrested at work in September 2009. She was put on trial on May 13, 2010, but the outcome is unknown.
Hu Ronghuan is now detained in Tuohuang Detention Center in Xichang City. Her family did not have a stable income and relied on her and her husband's tailoring business. However, she is detained and her grandson had to go to the hospital again. The financial situation of the family has thus deteriorated.
Policemen that participated in the arrest include Tai Gangyi, Wang Yongrong and Sha Zongquan.
