(Clearwisdom.net) On May 8, 2010, practitioners from all over Spain held activities to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day. They held a group exercise practice and taught the exercises to others, shared their experiences, explained the facts about the persecution, demonstrated the grace of Falun Dafa and collected signatures on petitions to end the persecution.

Practitioners were invited to come to Ciudad Real, a beautiful city near Madrid. In the morning, the practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises in Jia Sete Park, a well-known park in the city. The peaceful exercises caught the attention of local people who were in the park. Reporters from a local TV station also came and people stopped and watched. Some kept asking: "What is Falun Gong?" "Do you teach the exercises on a regular basis?" Some started to learn Falun Gong on the spot. Some of those who came to learn the exercises expressed, "I am feeling very well and I like it very much," "There is a strong field of energy," "I am feeling very comfortable."
Afterwards, some practitioners shared their experiences. Ms. Rice said that she was in poor health before practicing Falun Gong. She felt pain in her bones all over. It was so bad that sometimes she could not get herself dressed or comb her hair. She was in a bad mood that even affected her marriage. Within a short time after she began to practice Falun Dafa, she found answers for many questions that had puzzled her for many years, and she recovered from her illnesses. Seeing such a big change in her, her mother, who is over 70, started to practice Falun Gong. This time her mother also came and participated in the celebration activities.
The experience sharing ended in an atmosphere of thanking Master for his salvation and applause. Finally, all the practitioners had photos taken, wished Master happy birthday and thanked Master for his merciful salvation.

In the afternoon, the practitioners held activities to explain the facts about the persecution in China and to collect signatures. Although it was the first time for the practitioners to hold the event in that location, people came to sign the petition after they read the information on the poster boards.
After signing the petition, a gentleman said, "This persecution is similar to the persecution of Christians in ancient times. We should not allow such a thing to happen again."
Having listened to the explanation by a practitioner, a middle school teacher invited Falun Gong practitioners to give lectures in his school about the fact that Falun Gong practitioners are being persecuted in China. The two patrolmen also signed the petition against the persecution after carefully reading the posters.
