(Clearwisdom.net) Hebei Province Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Wu Junfen, Ms. Zhang Yun and Ms. Yang Aiping are currently being subjected to abuse at the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.
In the spring of 2009, Shijiazhuang City practitioner Ms. Zhang Yun was taken to Brigade 4 of the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. Prison guards Liu Yamin, Hou Junmei and Zhao Yuan required prisoners Zhang Huiqing, Cheng Xiaojiao, Peng Jie, Yang Hong and others to monitor her 24 hours a day, sealed her mouth with duct tape, then forcefully cut her hair in a random manner. As a result of the abuse she endured, Zhang Yun could not eat for a long period of time, and vomited whenever she ate.
Handan City practitioner Ms. Wu Junfen was arrested by local police officers when she went home to visit her critically ill father in July 2008. She was over four months pregnant at that time. The police colluded with birth control agency personnel and took her to the hospital for an abortion against her will. Officers cuffed her hands and feet, then forcefully injected drugs to induce an abortion. Four days after the abortion, police took Wu Junfen to a detention center, and ten days later, took her to the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp to serve two years of forced labor.
Zhangjiakou Wanquan County practitioner Ms. Yang Aiping suffered from heart problems due to the torture she underwent at the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. She developed critically high blood pressure, yet prison guards Liu Yamin and Hou Junmei forced her to continue slave labor activities.
The Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp forces practitioners to work long hours. Practitioners go to the work site immediately after breakfast at 7 a.m., work till 12 noon, then from after lunch till 6 p.m., then keep working after dinner till 8 to 9 p.m.; everyone is forced to complete an imposed quota.
The guards often conduct so-called "security checks", and search practitioners for Teacher's articles, to find excuses to penalize them. Prison guards use collaborators to persecute steadfast practitioners, forcing them to stand for long hours, disallowing them the use of toilets, and forcing them to sign the so-called Three Statements.
Heads of Brigade 4 in charge of "transforming" practitioners include Hou Junmei and Liu Yamin. Former practitioners who became collaborators in persecution include Liu Yongli and Ma Zhixin.
