(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 22 cities or counties in 10 provinces. In this report, at least 1 practitioner was subjected to mistreatment during detention and at least 20 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Dai Jinchang Arrested
Mr. Dai Jinchang, a teacher at Xingshugang Secondary School in Daqing City, was arrested on the afternoon of April 7 after being reported for clarifying the truth to his class.
2. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhu Yunpeng and Mr. Miao Qingguo Illegally Sentenced
Mr. Zhu Yunpeng from the Shuncheng District in Fushun City is now illegally detained in No. 1 squad in Dongling Prison, Shenyang City. He was sentenced to prison for around three and a half years.
Mr. Miao Qingguo from Jinzhou City was sentenced to prison for three years. He is detained at the No. 1 ward in Dongling Prison.
3. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xiao Chengyan Arrested
On the morning of April 6, 2010, when Ms. Xiao Chengyan was clarifying the truth, she was arrested by Jin Cen (86-13998000392, Cell) a police officer, and his colleagues from the branch office of Tiedong area of Anshan Police Station. She is being held in the No. 1 Detention Center of Anshan City.
4. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Ms. Yu Guifang Arrested
On the evening of April 8, 2010, Ms. Yu Guifang was going to go back to her hometown in Heilongjiang Province by taking train 1122/1123 at the Macheng City train station. At the security check, the police found a New Year's Gala DVD in her luggage. She and her friend (a non-practitioner) were both arrested. At 10 p.m., the railway station police and officers from Huangjinqiao Police Station, Longchiqiao Police Station, and Gulou Police Station forced the non-practitioner lead them to where Ms. Yu and her neighbor, Ms. Wang Kaiying, live. They broke into and ransacked their apartments. They took Dafa books and related materials.

5. [Shanwei City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Chumei Arrested by 610 Office
In the middle of March, Ms. Yang Chunei, a retired teacher from Chengxi Primary School in Haifeng County, Shanwei City, was deceived by the 610 Office of Heifeng County. Representatives went to her apartment, picked her up, and took her to Sanshui Brainwashing Center in Guangdong Province. Ms. Yang was taken to Sanshui Brainwashing Center once before for three months. Since then the authorities have harassed her and kept her under surveillance.

6. [Tianjin City] Ms. Zhang Jianhua Arrested; Her Apartment Ransacked
On the evening of March 29 when Ms. Zhang Jianhua was talking to people about Falun Gong along Shuishang Street west of the Nankai District, she was reported. Police officers from the Balitai Station in the Nankai District arrested her. At 10 p.m., local police officer Zhang Lijun and four others broke into her house and took her Dafa books and informational materials.

7. [Pengan County, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhang Lifang Arrested and Persecuted Numerous Times.
On April 1, 2010, Ms. Zhang Lifang from Pengan County went out to put up truth-clarifying stickers and was illegally arrested. She is now in in the local detention center. Since 2000, Ms. Zhang Lifang has been harassed by the 610 Office, State Security, and others from her workplace.
8. [Jixi City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Xiuyun and Ms. Liu Yuwen Arrested and Persecuted
On April 8, 2010, Ms. Gao Xiuyun and Ms. Liu Yuwen from Chengzihe County of Jixi City were reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. They were arrested by the police from the Baishi Branch Office of Chengzihe Police Station. They are now in the No. 2 Detention Center of Jixi City.
9. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Jiang Yongsheng on Hunger Strike to Protest the Persecution at Jiutai Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Jiang Yongsheng from Sanjingzi High School in Songyuan City is now on a hunger strike in Jiutai Forced Labor Camp. On April 7, the family of Mr. Jiang went to the camp. After considerable effort, they were finally allowed to see Mr. Jiang. They found him very weak, without feeling in his legs. He had to lean against the wall in order to stand. His face was pale and his respiration shallow and very fast. Two guards monitored him very closely. When he left, the two officers present had to carry him. 10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] More Information on the Persecution of Mr. Xu Sheng and Mr. Sun Tienong
Mr. Xu Sheng and Mr. Sun Tienong from the Acheng District of Harbin City have been detained in the No. 1 Detention Center of Acheng District ever since they were arrested on January 24.

11. [Beijing] Mr. Feng Zhiming Arrested and Taken to a Brainwashing Center in Haikou City
Mr. Feng Zhiming, the former deputy manager of Material Company of China National Offshore Oil Corporation in Beijing, was deceived by his supervisors at work and taken to a brainwashing center located in Haikou City, Hainan Province. (The brainwashing center is located in a psychiatric hospital.) His supervisors told him they had scheduled a business trip for him to investigate a property project.

12. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Hanping Transferred Back to the Detention Center from the Brainwashing Center
Ms. Zhao Hanping from the Heitai District was transferred to Yuquanying Police Station by the local police station and the 610 Office of the Fengtai District and then sent to the brainwashing center located in the Guangfeng Hotel in the Fengtai District. In recent days, the 610 Office discovered that the Minghui/Clearwisdom website had published the news that Ms. Zhao had been sent to a brainwashing center, so they transferred her back to Yuquanying Police Station and then back to the Fengtai Detention Center and illegally detained her.
13. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Lili Persecuted for a Very Long Time
Ms. Wang Lili from Zhucheng City was persecuted by the 610 Office in 2004 and left her home to avoid arrest. She has been reported on by the police since 2009. Now she is in the detention center in Zhucheng City and in critical condition.

16. [Guanxian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Guomin Illegally Detained at Detention Center
It has been more than a month since Guanxian police arrested Ms. Wu Guomin. They have now moved her to another detention center and continue to illegally detain her.
17. [Wuyang County, Henan Province] Many Family Members of Mr. Wu Jian'an Arrested
The residents and practitioners of Houji Village in Wuyang County, Mr. Wu Jian'an, his wife Ms. Zhu Jinghua (their son and daughter-in-law are non practitioners), his brother Mr. Wu Anmin, and his sister-in-law Ms. Song Qiaoyun were arrested by the 610 Office of Wuyang County, the Houji Village government, and the police station. Two television sets and satellite dishes as well as Dafa books and informational materials were taken away. The authorities also went to the house of Mr. Wu's parents and took 2000 yuan.
18. [Guangdong Province] Ms. Li Qiuju from Henan Arrested in Zhongshan City
Around 10 p.m. on April 6, Ms. Li Qiuju from Henan Province was arrested after someone reported her for leaving truth-clarifying leaflets in the telephone booth located in Zuqiao Market in Xiaolan Town, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. Now she is in the Zhongshan City detention center.
19. [Yongxiu County, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Zeng Youlian Illegally Detained
On the night of April 2, Ms. Zeng went out to explain the facts about Falun Gong and was arrested and detained by the Yongxiu County Police Station of Jiangxi Province.
20. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Forced Labor Camp Refuses to Release Ms. Xu Yiqin
On March 27, 2009, Ms. Xu Yiqin from Hanzhong City was arrested at the gate of Nanzheng County Court. Ren Yuping, the head of the Hanzhong City 610 Office, and Ma Ping'an, the head of the State Security Squad of Hanzhong City, participated directly in the arrest. Ms. Xu was then taken to Shaanxi Women's Forced Labor Camp and detained for one year. Her term ended on March 27, 2010, but the forced labor camp refuses to release her.
21. [Luzhou City, Sishuan Province] Ms. Wu Houyu Still Detained after Her Term Ends
Ms. Wu Houyu was reported on March 26, 2010, for clarifying the truth in Wangshi Commercial City. She was arrested by officer Li Xi (86-830-2586505) from Hongxing Police Station in the Longmatan District of Luzhou City and taken to Yuhuangguan Detention Center in Luzhou City. She was sentenced to 15 days of detention. At the end of the 15 days, her family went to pick her up, but the detention center refused to release her. They said that they will send her to forced labor camp. Her case has been transferred to police officer E Silin (86-15892939166, Cell), who will take charge of the case
Ms. Wu has been sentenced to forced labor twice and detained several times since the persecution began on July 20, 1999.
22. [Guang'an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Li Dayun and Ms. Luo Qingjie Arrested Recently
23. [Chongqing] Mr. He Kunliang Illegally Sentenced to Labor Camp
Mr. He Kunliang was arrested by the Yuzhong District 610 Office in Chongqing City on March 26. He was sentenced to forced labor for two years. Now he is detained in the Renhe Transfer Station in the Yubei District of Chongqing City
24. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Qiurong Disappeared
Ms. Zhang Qiurong disappeared around the end of March, the beginning of April. She was arrested in the area near Xisanqi.
