(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 15 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Hailun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Dai Shuqing Arrested
On March 25, 2010, Ms. Dai Shuqing was reported to police while she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She was taken to a detention center by officers from the Hailun Domestic Security Team.

2. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Guoru Taken to the Zunhua Brainwashing Center
On March 26, 2010, personnel from the Zunhua 610 Office, the Domestic Security Team, and the Dongxinzhuang Police Station broke into the home of Ms. Zhang Guoru at Xiliangzihe Village, Dongxinzhuang Town. Ms. Zhang was taken to the Zunhua Brainwashing Center.
3. [Jizhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Shuliang and Ms. Xia Tongmu Sentenced to Six and Five Years in Prison, Respectively

4. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Zhao Caifeng and Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Zhao Caifeng from the Yanliang District was arrested. Mr. Feng Xincheng was forced to leave home in order to avoid being detained. Ms. Wang Juan was arrested and is being detained in the Gaoling County Detention Center in Xian City.
5. [Guangan City, Sichuan Province] In March 2010, Ms. Deng Deyu and Her Daughter from Fangping Township Arrested in Zhejiang Province
6. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Shi Jiaoyu Sentenced
Ms. Shi Jiaoyu was sentenced to three and a half years in prison by the Beihu District Court in Chenzhou City. She is being held in the Chenzhou Detention Center where she has been on a hunger strike for more than a month.
7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Yu Arrested
In 2009, Ms. Wang Yu from Yanling Community, Dongxihu, Wuhan City, was detained for a year. At the beginning of March 2010, she was arrested again. Her whereabouts are unknown.

8. [Shanghai City] Ms. Cai Yufen Arrested
Ms. Cai Yufen from the Xuhui District is about 56 years old. On March 25, 2010, she was arrested.

9. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Yuling Sent to Forced Labor Camp
On the morning of March 26, 2010, about 20 officers from the Jiaozhou 610 Office and the Sanlihe Police Station broke into the home of Ms. Song Yuling and took her away. On that day, she was taken to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.

10. [Guizhou Province] Ms. Luo Zuhua in 70s Under House Arrest for 18 Months
Ms. Luo Zuhua is a Falun Gong practitioner in the Huaxi District Cadre Sanatorium of the Guizhou Army Division. Since the beginning of September 2008, she has been under house arrest. Personnel from the Huaxi District Cadre Sanatorium and the 610 Office watch her around the clock and restrict her freedom.
11. [Tianjin City] Ms. Man Yuxi Detained in the Detention Center of Nankai Police Department
On March 24, 2010, Ms. Man Yuxi from the Nankai District, Tianjin City, was taken away from her home by officers from the Changhong Police Station of Nankai Police Department. Her home was ransacked. Now she is being held in the Detention Center of Nankai Police Department.
12. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Mr. Pan Gang Arrested
On January 10, 2010, Mr. Pan Gang from Nongan County, Changchun City, was taken to the Baota Police Station by Zhou Dahai from the Domestic Security Team while Mr. Pan was talking to an elderly man about Falun Gong. Officers from the Nongan Police Department and the Domestic Security Team brutally beat Mr. Pan. He had been taken to the Changchun Police Hospital because he went on a hunger strike. Now he is in the detention center. His family was not allowed to visit him.

13. [Jiexiu City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhang Yayun Persecuted
On July 2, 2009, Ms. Zhang Yayun from Jiexiu City was taken away by officers from the Xiaoyi City 610 Office. After being detained in the local police station for one month, she was taken to Taiyuan for 15 months of forced labor. She has not been released.
14. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sun Guirong and Ms. Xiao Sui Arrested
Around March 21, 2010, Ms. Sun Guirong and Ms. Xiao Sui were arrested. Now Ms. Sun is being detained in a brainwashing center. Ms. Xiao Sui is in the Penglai Detention Center.
15. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Additional Information about the Persecution of Ms. Li Yaling
On March 22, 2010, Ms. Li Yaling and another practitioner were reported to police while they were talking to people about Falun Gong. They were taken by police to the Beilun Detention Center. Ms. Li Yaling is still in the detention center and the other practitioner has been released.
16. [Shanxi Province] Ms. Liu Ying, Ms. Shi Guiying, and Ms. Li Shumin Detained in the Taiyuan Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shanxi Province, Their Terms Illegally Extended for Three Months
17. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Deng Weijian Arrested Again
Mr. Deng Weijian from the Qingbaijiang District was arrested in 2003 and detained in a forced labor camp for four years. After he was released in 2007, he lost his job and had to go out of town to find work. In July 2009, he was arrested in Guanghan where he worked. He was sentenced to six months in prison. When his term ended, a domestic security agent coerced him to be an insider for them. Otherwise, they would arrest him at any time. On March 23, 2010, Mr. Deng was arrested again. He is being held in the Qingbaijiang Detention Center.

18. [Ezhou City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Xixiang and Mr. Wang Hanmin Arrested
Ms. Wang Xixiang was arrested. The police took her computer and printer. She was sent directly to Shayang.
Mr. Wang Hanmin was arrested and taken to the Hubei Provincial Law System Eduction Center in Mahu, Wuchang City, Hubei Province.
19. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Fubao Arrested
Mr. Liu Fubao runs a business selling vegetables. On March 22, 2010, he was arrested while selling vegetables in the Wangcun Farm Market. His home was ransacked. Now he is being detained in the Zhoucun 610 Office.
20. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Xu Suyun Sent to the Kaiping Forced Labor Camp
On March 5, 2010, Ms. Xu Suyun was arrested by officers from the Hangu Farm Police Station. She has been sent to the Kaiping Women's Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term.
Ms. Xu Suyun was arrested many times. In June 2005, she was arrested by officers from the Xiangfengli Police Station and detained for 18 months.
In the spring of 2009, the Hangu Farm Police Department arrested Ms. Xu and intended to send her to a forced labor camp for a two-year term. Because she did not pass the required physical, her sentence was reprieved.
