(Clearwisdom.net) I am a 58-year-old vegetable farmer living
in a remote mountain village of Yishui, Shandong Province. One day
in May 2009, I was driving to the farmers' market on a small
tractor with my wife. I am an old man and not very skilled at
driving a tractor. Turning a curve, my tractor collided into an
oncoming motorcycle. As people panic and often act without rational
thought, at that moment, I suddenly spun the tractor around in a
rapid U-turn. My wife and I, along with the tractor, left the road
and crashed into a deep ditch near the curve. People nearby were
alarmed by the accident and ran to offer assistance.
My wife climbed out from under the tractor, while I remained seated
on the tractor. Everyone worked together to help drag the tractor
out of the ditch. The tractor was undamaged. My wife and I were not
injured at all and the motorcyclist had not been hurt either. It
only cost me only a few yuan to pay for expected repairs to the
damaged motorcycle. We were pleased with the lucky outcome and said
goodbye to the motorcyclist.
My wife and I cried tears of gratitude and blurted out, "Thanks
to the teacher of Falun Dafa, who saved us!"
In another story... a few days ago, I felt a terrible pain in my
chest. I went to a pharmacy and bought some medicine that cost more
than 20 yuan. After taking some of the medicine I experienced a
burst of nausea and vomiting. I pushed the leftover medicine aside.
I still felt there was something hurting my chest, making me short
of breath and very uncomfortable. Taking the medicine did not help;
indeed, it worsened my illness. I was worried and continued to feel
a lot of dull pain.
At this critical time, I remembered the words of a practitioner of
Falun Dafa: "Expect a favorable outcome and sincerely repeat,
'Falun Dafa is good; truthfulness, compassion and forbearance are
good.'" I repeated these words nine times. A few minutes later, I
had a feeling that something had left my chest, and I could,
indeed, breathe with ease. So again, I had experienced the power of
Dafa! My wife, too, is convinced of the value of Falun Dafa. When
we receive a flyer about the truth of Falun Dafa, we seriously look
it over and put it in a safe place as it is a treasure.
