(Clearwisdom.net) On March 16, the local chapter of the Divine Land Marching Band was invited to perform in the St. Patrick's Day parade in Boston for the third time. It was the only Chinese band in the parade.

The parade went for 3.2 miles and lasted 3 hours. Bands, floats and artists from Ireland, Scotland, Canada and New York come to attend the parade.
The St. Patrick's Day Parade has a history of 110 years in Boston, the second largest St. Patrick's Day Parade in the USA. The organizer of the parade said that he has attended the parade every year for 51 years, since he was seven years old. He said the parade is never get canceled no matter how severe the weather.
The Divine Land Marching Band was one of the best bands in the parade. The organizers invited a German navy general, Dirk Gartner, and the captain of USS Haliburton, John Schmidt to greet the bands at the beginning of the parade.
The Divine Land Marching Band led the Falun Gong parade entry, which also consisted of a motorcycle group, banners and drummers.
Although it rained heavily, spectators warmly welcomed the parade.
