(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Yu Airong, 63 years old, is a Falun Gong practitioner who lives in Macheng, Hubei Province. Before practicing Falun Gong, she had high blood pressure, pernicious anemia, gynecological disorders, etc. After practicing Falun Dafa, she followed the requirement of Dafa and tried to be a good person. All her illnesses were gone. Even her intractable headache was relived. She no longer needed to go to the hospital for blood transfusions due to loss of blood from menopause. Witnessing her physical improvements, four of her five family members, her husband, two daughters, and her son, also began practicing Falun Gong.
However, since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, her family was shattered and nobody was left to take care of the elderly and young children in her family.
Her son, Mr. Zhu Bidong, suffered five illegal detentions, fines and persecution. The last time he was arrested was on June 23, 2007. He was detained at Yingze District Detention Center of Taiyuan City, Shanxi province for over two years. In the detention center, Mr. Zhu Bidong often had to suffer hunger (he was given only two steamed buns each day). Sometimes he was so hungry that he had no energy to talk. Due to persecution, his feet hurt and he could not fall asleep at night (he often woke up in the middle of night due to pain in his feet). Three generations of their family traveled thousands miles to Yingze Detention Center to visit Mr. Zhu. They said all kinds of good words and begged the police to let them see him, but police officer Wang Chunrui (cell phone: 86-13603553391) would not allow them to visit Mr. Zhu. No matter how hard the three year old called for his daddy and how hard he cried, they would not agree to their request to let the child see his father.
Before the persecution, Zhu Bidong had a stable, good job. When the persecution began, he went to the provincial government to appeal for Falun Gong. He was then dismissed by his work unit. He was the only bread-winner of the family, so they suddenly had no income. The whole family had no financial support. Later, they borrowed some money from their friends and relatives and bought a mini van. However, the No. 1 Section of the Police Station of Macheng (persons in charge: Li Jiede, Yang Gandeng and Yan Wenshan) still repeatedly persecuted him. Among those persecutions, three times their son was arrested without any reason while he was driving the van. Three other times, they confiscated their van for 15 days. They almost lost their van. Later they tried all kinds of methods and paid 6,000 yuan and the police relented. In those years, the whole family lived in this stressful atmosphere every day. Even when they were asleep, they still could not have a peaceful time.
In the past ten years, Ms. Yu's home was ransacked four times and her family was extorted out of over 10,000 yuan in cash. Both mother and son constantly suffered persecution such as detention. Her family was heavily in debt. Three generations lived in a narrow, old house. Their daughter-in-law had to find a job to support the whole family.
On December 3, 2000, Yan Wenshan, former No. 1 assistant section lead, brought six people and broke into Ms. Yu's home. They grasped her hair while swearing and hit her head against the wall, and then threw her on the floor. Wang Shian, the driver, stepped on her mouth and face. At that time, she felt great pain and could not open her mouth, could not breathe and almost suffocated. Her entire face became numb and bigger and bigger.... suddenly her mouth and nose became very big and she could not see anything. She could only hear them searching high and low in the room. They confiscated a lot of things, such as Dafa books, and her personal ID, etc. Then they dragged her from the 3rd floor down to the first floor then put her into the police car. After they started the car, she began to clarify the truth to the police.
As the police drove to Longchi Police Station, one policeman shouted, "Calm down, quickly!" and then swore at her. She explained, "You are wrong. People who believe in Truth, Compassion, and Forbearance are good people of high morals. Those people like Jiang Zemin and his followers who persecute good people are the true criminals."After she finished talking, a policeman slapped her face. She shouted in the yard, "Police are beating up people. Falun Dafa is good! The universal Dafa is good!" The police then took a rubber rod and beat her around the head. At once her head and face were covered with blood. When they were tired of beating her, they locked her in a small dark room. For several days, she had no food or water and nobody cared about her until the time they began to interrogate her. They had eight people taking turns to interrogate, beat and torture her, four during the day and four at night. When they were tired after torturing her, the police slept on a bed next to a heater. She was handcuffed onto a cold iron chair. Sometimes they forced her to take off her coat and kneel down and suffer the cold. At that time it was minus 3 degrees. After over ten days' interrogation, they wanted to know who were those people that Falun Gong practitioners normally gathered with. When they saw she would not say anything, they used different methods to torture her and ordered her to stand up from morning until 4 a.m. at night. Finally, after they realized that they could not get anything from her, they then sent her to the city's No. 2 Detention Center. At the detention center, Longchi Police Station secretly interrogated her for two days and nights and would not allow her to eat or sleep, not even rest in a squat position. She had to keep standing, not leaning against the wall. When the police had meals, police Hu Ping said, "You stand there and watch us eat." Yan Wenshan told his people not to notify her family and other people about her whereabouts.
On February 17, 2001, before dawn, police transferred her from the No. 2 Detention Center to the Shizishan Drug Addiction Treatment Center in Wuchang for a one year sentence at the forced labor camp. In this human hell, every day they worked as slave labor. Drug addicts kept monitoring her continuously. Because she did not cooperate with the police, she often suffered persecution. For instance, they forced everyone to sing prison songs which were praising the CCP. She insisted on not singing those songs, instead she loudly recited "On Buddha Law", from Zhuan Falun. The drug addicts monitoring them would cover up their mouths and beat anyone doing this. She was the first one to tell those drug addicts that Dafa practitioners were good people, not criminals and they should not treat them in such a manner. Right after that, they took off the tag given by the forced labor camp and then requested to do the five exercises, and study the Fa. They were locked in a small dark room and several male police officers used electronic batons to shock their bodies. Their bodies were burned and issued a burnt smell. She was a lady of over 50 years old, but her body was covered with bloody marks because of the electronic shocks. When her family members came to visit her, the instructor at the forced labor camp told her not to tell them about the torture. On October 19, because her blood pressure was as high as 220, she was able to be released.
On April 25, 2003, Li Jiede and Wang Shian and others brought some police in two police cars and broke into her home. Seeing all her family member were at home, they called Huang Shaokui and asked him to send a police car over. They convinced her family members to leave home and then began ransacking the place. Since she did not cooperate with them, the police carried her downstairs by force. At that moment, about two hundred people witnessed the police's barbarity. Then she was sent to the No. 1 Detention Center. She could not bear the beatings and mental torture and began to protest with a hunger strike. Twenty days later, the No. 1 Section of the Police Station extorted her family out of over two thousand yuan and then let her go home. Her family members carried her home, as she was near death.
