(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 13 cities or counties in nine provinces. In this report, 45 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least four practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Xu Chunhua from Liuwentun Village, Qilihe Town was said to be held at the Yi County Detention Center for a time. However, when her family went to visit her, the officials told them there was no such a person at the center. Ms. Xu's whereabouts are unknown.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Han Yingli's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Han Yingli, a retired teacher from Qinghua University, was subjected to persecution for four years. After she returned home in the summer of 2009, the authorities took her away. Her whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xiuhong Grossly Abused and Sexually Harassed at Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp
Ms. Li Xiuhong, who is in her thirties, is held in Division No. 1 at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. Her release was denied for refusing to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong. Detainee Fu Xiaoyun, also in her thirties, who was assigned to monitor Ms. Li, has been held in the labor camp for 18 years. She is a homosexual and sexually harasses Ms. Li daily.
4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Lizhu Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Zhou Lizhu was sentenced to two years of forced labor and is now being held in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
5. [Huidong County, Guangdong Province] Ms. He Jingru and Two Others Arrested
Ms. He Jingru, Ms. Hu Xiuxian, and her sister from Huidong County were arrested at Ms. Hu Xiuxian's home. Their whereabouts are unknown.
6. [Kaifeng, Henan Province] Mr. Pang Liang Faces Trial
Mr. Pang Liang from the Jinming District was arrested on the afternoon of September 11, 2009, on his way to take his child home. He is facing trial.
Mr. Pang is a former Jiyuan Army Fire Brigade instructor. Related army department officers arrested him in 2003 and sentenced him to three years of forced labor. He was held at Henan Province No. 3 Forced Labor Camp for nearly four years. Mr. Pang was discharged from the army after his release from the labor camp.

7. [Yuanqu, Shanxi Province] Mr. Zhang Guangjun Arrested at Work
Mr. Zhang Guangjun, an employee from the Zhongtiaoshan Nonferrous Metal Group Co., Ltd, was arrested at work on February 5, 2010.

8. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yin Guizhi Subjected to Two Years of Forced Labor
Linghai City police arrested twenty practitioners at Mr. Zhao Tingwu's home in Yuji Town on June 18, 2009, when the practitioners were holding an experience-sharing meeting. Ms. Yin Guizhi was sentenced to two years of forced labor and held at Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where she was grossly abused and tortured.
9. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Yu Held at Detention Center
Officers from the Guangming Police Station in the Xiangyang District arrested Ms. Liu Yu from Hegang City on February 15, 2010. The arrest took place at Zhenxing Square in the Xiangyang District. Ms. Liu is now at a detention center.

10. [Hebei Province] More than 30 Practitioners from the Qinhuangdao Area Held in Custody

11. [Beijing] Ms. An Xiuzhi Held in Daxing Prison
Mr. Chang Guiyou and his wife Ms. An Xiuzhi from Xiaoshengdian Village, the Tongzhou District were subjected to persecution numerous times. Mr. Chang died as a result of torture in 2004. Ms. An was released in April 2008, but was arrested again on September 26, 2008 and taken to the Tongzhou Detention Center. She was sentenced to two years in prison on January 24, 2010, and is now at the Daxing Prison in Beijing.
12. [Daqing, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Hua Given a Prison Term
Ms. Li Hua, in her late sixties, was sentenced to four years in prison. She was sent to the Harbin Women's Prison.
13. [Rizhao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Dongmei Arrested
Ms. Yan Dongmei, an employee from the Port Affairs Bureau No. 1 Company in Rizhao City, was arrested at work on the afternoon of January 19, 2010, and her home was later ransacked. She is being held at the Chu County Detention Center in Rizhao City.
14. [Deyang, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Ying Held at the Chengbei Detention Center
Ms. Chen Ying, who is in her fifties, handed out Falun Gong flyers to people at the Deyang City People's Shopping Center on the afternoon of the Lunar New Year's Eve. A person in charge of monitoring the center reported her. Ms. Chen was taken away that same day and is now at the Chengbei Detention Center.
15. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Liu Wenliang Died After Living in Exile for Ten Years
Mr. Liu Wenliang, 32, from Shulan City was arrested in 2000. Local police officer Zhang Fengjun and others violently beat him. He has since then lived away from home, for ten years. He died on January 24, 2010.
Mr. Liu and his mother were intercepted on their way to Beijing in 2000 to appeal for justice for Falun Gong, and were taken to the Tiande Township Police Station in Shulan City. Officer Zhang Fengjun and others beat Mr. Liu so severely that he collapsed. The persecutors continued kicking his head and face.
Mr. Liu's entire body was injured, and it took a long time for the bruises to disappear. Mr. Liu made a living while in exile for ten years doing part-time jobs. He suffered from tuberculosis, brought about by poor living conditions and other hardships. He was emaciated when he died.
