(Clearwisdom.net) On February 18, 2010, when 120 Chinese officials from Chongqing City visited Brisbane, Australia, Falun Gong practitioners held a protest outside of their hotel, calling for the end of the persecution in China.
Practitioners held banners and tried to clarify the truth about the persecution to the Chinese officials. Some of them seemed to be shocked by the protest and took photos of the practitioners.

Chongqing is one of the cities where the persecution of Falun Gong is the most severe. In Chongqing, police and government officials often harass, arrest, jail, and torture Falun Gong practitioners. The mayor of Chongqing, Bo Xilai, was sued by practitioners in New South Wales, Australia for persecuting Falun Gong. The court ruled on November 5, 2007 that Bo was guilty and the plaintiff, Falun Gong practitioner Pan Yu, won the case.
