1. [Jingmen City, Hubei Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Deyu Illegally Sentenced to Four Years of Imprisonment

Mr. Liu Deyu is over 53 years old and from Jingmen City. On February 3, he was sentenced to four years in prison by the Court of the Dongbao District, Jingmen City. This was told to Mr. Liu's wife when she came to the court and asked about him.

4. [Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Hou Manli and Ms. Bo Hanying Arrested

Ms. Hou Manli and Ms. Bo Hanying from Hanzhong City were illegally arrested by Ma Pingan and others from the Hantai Domestic Security Department, when they were posting truth-clarifying materials.

5. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Qiu Dan Arrested

On February 3, 2010, Ms. Qiu Dan from Xiatou Village in Goubangzi Town was arrested by officers from the Sunjia Police station. Currently, Ms. Qiu is incarcerated in the Panshan Detention Center.

    6. [Yanji, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Shuhua Taken to Forced Labor Camp

    Ms. Wang Shuhua from Yanji City was arrested on January 26, 2010. One week later, she was taken to Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City by 610 Office agents.

    7. [Yanbian, Jilin Province] Mr. Tang Arrested

    On February 2, 2010, Mr. Tang, an employee of the Yanbian Morning News Agency, is around 36 years old. He was secretly arrested, sentenced to one and a half years, and taken to the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp.

    Mr. Yang Chengjiang was beaten brutally by people from the Domestic Security Department of Jixian County on February 1, 2010, and sentenced to forced labor for one and a half years.     After 10:00 p.m. on January 28, 2010, six officers from the Liucheng Town Police Station in Chaoyang County went to Xiawazi Village and climbed over the wall of Mr. Guo Wenyuan's home. They ransacked it, confiscated Dafa books, and seized Mr. Guo and his daughter, Ms. Guo Haiying. The next day his wife, Ms. Xia Guifen, was also arrested when she went to the police station to take some clothes to her daughter. Ms. Xia and her daughter are being held in the Chaoyang County Detention Center. No details regarding Mr. Guo are available at this time.

    13. [Cangzhou, Hebei Province] Practitioners Maltreated by Personnel at the No. 4 Prison in Hebei

    Mr. Xu Zengliang from Cangzhou Cit, was arrested and taken to the fourth prison in Hebei Province in December 2009. While there, he was beaten by inmate Han Jianwei and others and deprived of sleep for a long time. Another practitioner, Mr. Chen Runhui, was handcuffed and shackled.

    Mr. Li Yingkun and Ms. Liao Jinmei from Shenzhen City were followed and arrested by police officers on July 14, 2009, when they went out shopping. Both are being held in the Xixiang's Jiuwei Detention Center in the Bao'an District. On November 3, Mr. Li was sentenced to two years and Ms. Liao to one year imprisonment by officials of the Bao'an District court.

    18. [Meizhou, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhong Yanhui and Ms. Zhang Xiaolan Arrested

    On January 14, 2010, Ms. Zhong Yanhui from Mei City, Guangdong Province, was arrested and taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp to serve a term of eighteen months. On New Year's Day 2010, Ms. Zhang Xialan from Meizhou City, was captured, sentenced to one year, and taken to Sanshui Forced Labor Camp.

    19. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Peng Wangqin's Recent Situation

    Ms. Peng Wangqin from Huangpi County, Wuhan City, has been persecuted many times by personnel from the 610 Office in Huangpi and the Qingshan District of Wuhan. On January 13, 2010, she was arrested by Qingshan District police when she was clarifying the facts at a work site. She was taken to the Women's Detention Center in Erzhigou, the Dongxihu District.

    Ms. Yao Ruirong from Tangjia Village, Wei Town, Rongcheng City, was reported to the police when she distributed informational materials about Falun Gong and was arrested and taken to the detention center in Rongcheng. Her home was ransacked and her Dafa books and other personal belongings were taken away. On December 23, 2009, Ms. Yao was taken to the Wangcun Women's Forced Labor Camp.

      25. [Wuxue, Hubei Province] Mr. Guo Chunsheng Imprisoned in a Large Iron Cage

      On January 7, 2010, Ms. Zhao Cuiyun and Ms. Zhao Guiying were arrested in Mamiao Town, where they were clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Ms. Zhao Guiying was sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor. Ms. Zhao Cuiyun was released and returned home.

      30. [Jiangyuan County, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Yumei, Mr. Wang Fengkun, and Ms. Yang Arrested

      Ms. Gao Yumei, Mr. Wang Fengkun, and Ms. Yang were reported to the police on January 30, 2010, when they were clarifying the truth in Sidaocha, Wangou, Jiangyuan County. Wangou Police Station officers in Jiangyuan County ransacked their homes and took away their Dafa books. Ms. Yang was had 1,000 yuan extorted from her and was then released. Ms. Gao and Mr. Wang are now in the Jiangyuan County Detention Center.

      31. [Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Shi Lijun Taken to Forced Labor Camp

      Ms. Shi Lijun, an employee of the Cuiluan Forest Department in Yichun City, and her husband and child were at home in mid-January 2010, when they were arrested and taken to the Wumahe District Detention Center. Her husband was detained for six days, while their child was released that same day. Ms. Shi will be incarcerated in the Harbin Drug Addiction Treatment Center for two years.

      32. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Ms. Chen Taiwen Arrested

      Ms. Chen Taiwen, who is in her thirties, from Hengdian Town, the Huangpi District, Wuhan, and her son and niece were arrested by the police at a middle school at around 4:00 p.m. on January 24, 2010, as they were clarifying the truth to students. Ms. Chen was taken to Bali Prison in Huangpi.

      Ms. Li Juhua, who is in her fifties, had been detained several times already. In 2009, she was arrested and taken to the Hewan Women's Forced Labor Camp, where she was inhumanly tortured, including having her feet soaked in ice water in the winter and sleep deprivation. Ms. Li already suffers from a mental disorder due to the maltreatment and is currently in critical condition.

      Mr. Lu Guangxiu, 56, from Yudong Town, the Banan District, Chongqing City, was arrested in December 2009 by the 610 Office. She has been taken to the Chongqing Women's Forced Labor Camp for a two-year term.

      Another practitioner, Ms. Xu Jingling, also from Yudong Town, was also imprisoned for two years.

      37. [Xiangtan County, Hunan Province] Ms. Shi Xiuying Arrested

      Ms. Shi Xiuying, who is in her sixties, is from Huashi Town, Xiangtan County. She was arrested by local police officers on the night of January 25, 2010, when she was talking to people about Falun Gong. She is being held in the Qilipu Detention Center.

          In mid-2009, Ms. Gong Daoxia from Gongan County was arrested at the train station in Nanjing City because she carried a bag containing informational materials about Falun Gong. Thus far, no additional information has been made available.

          47. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xuelian Taken to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp

          On the morning of September 22, 2009, Ms. Zhang Xuelian was captured, and her home was ransacked. Changtong Road Police Station officers and people from the 610 Office confiscated her bank cards, cash, a computer, printers, and more. Ms. Zhang is being held in Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.

          48. [Pingdu, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuzhen Arrested in Jinan Prison

          Ms. Wang Yuzhen from Pingdu was arrested by officers from the Tonghe Police Station and taken to the Pingdu 610 Office on February 19, 2009. Police officer Zhao Hongwu beat Ms. Wang brutally. Two days later, she was taken to the Dashan Detention Center in Qingdao. Her family is not allowed to visit her. Ms. Wang was sentenced to eight years in prison and transferred to Jinan Prison on January 20, 2010.

          49. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Jiafen and Ms. Wang Xiulan Arrested

          Ms. Wang Jiafen and Ms. Wang Xiulan were arrested on February 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. by Deng Xinming and other officers from the Zhaopeng Police Station. The women had been clarifying the truth in Tuban, Zhaopeng Town, Anlu City. When Ms. Wang Jiafen also told the police the facts about Falun Gong, officers Deng Xinming and Xie Chaowen beat her until she fell down and could not move. Ms. Wang Xiulan was also brutally beaten by Shen Tao. On February 3, both were transferred to the Anlu City Detention Center.
