1. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Han Shiwang Given a Five-Year Prison Term
Mr. Han Shiwang is a villager in Miaoergou Village, Xintun Township, Wanquan County. Local police along with village official Tian Guibin and others arrested him at home at around 1:00 a.m. on July 24, 2008. The police put him in handcuffs and shackles. He was clad only in underwear and wore slippers. They took Mr. Han to the village committee offices, ransacked his home, and walked away with over 1,000 yuan in cash. Mr. Han was sentenced to five years of incarceration at the Tangshan Prison. While there he was forced to carry large bags of salt and given only a small steamed bun for a meal. He was always hungry and became emaciated.
2. [Lishu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Di Lihua Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Di Lihua from Lishu County was eating dinner in a restaurant with several friends on April 10, 2009, when police suddenly arrived and took her away. They ransacked her home and held her in custody for 15 days. She was arrested again on the evening of August 30, 2009. Participating in the arrest were Lishu County 610 Office agent Wang Fei, along with Lishu County Domestic Security Division agent Wang Dejun and several officers from the Kangping Police Station.
Ms. Di was walking down the street when four people ran up to her from behind and pushed her into a police vehicle, and then held her in the Lishu County Detention Center that night. They hurriedly took her to the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Jilin Province the next morning without informing her family. Ms. Di will be held there for one and a half years.
3. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp Guards Grossly Abuse and Mistreat Practitioners and Arbitrarily Extend Their Terms
Ms. Liu Yongying is incarcerated in Team No.1, Division No.3 at the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp. Those in charge held her separately from others on August 12, 2009 for refusing to wear a prison uniform. She was affixed to a death bed for 18 days. Her hands and feet were immobilized to the bed frame in a "cross" position. She could not move. She was only allowed to be clad in underwear.
The camp authorities arbitrarily extend practitioners' terms.
1. If the practitioners refuse to give up Falun Gong within three months following their admission to the camp, their terms will be extended by five days; by ten days if they refuse to give up Falun Gong within six months, and by 30 to 180 days if they refuse to give up Falun Gong within one year or more.
2. Their terms will be extended by five to ten days if refuse to write a report on their thoughts.
3. Their terms will be extended by ten days if Master's articles are found on them.
4. Division No.3 guards body search practitioners every night.
5. Their terms will be extended by five days if they refuse to shout "report" before entering the guards' office.
6. Their terms will be extended by five days if they refuse to answer a questionnaire. 7. Their terms will be extended by one month or longer if they refuse to fill out a "Labor Camp Assessment Form" before their release.
The restroom in Division No.3 is always locked. Practitioners' restroom use is restricted to once every two hours. They are forbidden to use it, even if they are unable to control their bowels.

4. [Lingyuan, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Changfu and Mr. Hou Baoshan Held in Custody in Qinghe
Mr. Zhao Changfu and Mr. Hou Baoshan from Lingyuan accompanied their friend's wife to see a doctor in Beijing. Haidiang Police Department agents and those from the Tiancun Police Station arrested them on the evening of January 17, 2010, in a Beijing Hotel and held them in the Haidian Detention Center. The two practitioners are now held at an undisclosed location in Qinghe.

5. [Nong'an County, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Hongxia Subjected to Forced Labor
Ms. Guo Hongxia from Nong'an County spoke with a plainclothes police officer about Falun Gong and quitting the Chinese Communist Party near the Nong'an County Court family compound on January 20, 2010. She was arrested and taken to the Nong'an County Detention Center and held for 15 days, and then sent to the Changchun City Forced Labor Camp on February 4, 2010.

6. [Acheng, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Xu Sheng and Mr. Sun Tienong Arrested
Mr. Xu Sheng from Acheng and Mr. Sun Tienong from out of town posted small flags reading "Falun Dafa Is Good" in a village near Shuangfeng Township at around 8:00 p.m. on January 24, 2010. A villager reported them to the police. Shuangfeng Township Police Station officers took the two practitioners into custody. They have been held in the Acheng No.2 Detention Center for 15 days. Mr. Sun had previously been sentenced to prison and suffered from severe abuse and mistreatment.

7. [Jilin Province] Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp Authorities Refuse to Release Ms. Sun Jingfang
Jilin City 610 Office and Domestic Security Division agents arrested Ms. Sun Jingfang at home in 2008 and took her to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun. Her term expired in January 2010, but the camp authorities extended her term for several days and refused to release her. Ms. Sun's grandson went to the camp to demand her release, but the camp officials said that they could not release Ms. Sun because she refused to be "reformed" and had not written the "five statements" to give up Falun Gong.
8. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xinhua Subjected to Forced Labor Three Times -Belated News
Ms. Wang Xinhua, in her 50s, lived in Tuofangying Village, Jiangtai Township, the Chaoyang District, Beijing. Jiangtai Township 610 Office agents and Jiangtai Township Police Station officers subjected her three times to home ransacking, arrests and forced labor. The first arrest happened in 1999 when Ms. Wang was sent to the Xin'an Women's Forced Labor Camp in Daxing County. She was arrested in 2007 and held in an undisclosed location in Daxing. She was arrested again in May 2008, a few months after her release on January 6, 2008. Her family received a letter in July that same year and a phone call from Ms. Wang, telling her family that she was in Shanxi Province to serve a three-year forced labor sentence. She asked her family to mail her 200 yuan to buy daily necessities. There has been no news about her since.
9. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Shijun Held in Tianjin Women's Prison
Ms. Wang Shijun from the Wuqing District was taken to the Tianjin Women's Prison on January 6, 2010, but the prison authorities refused to accept her because a physical examination showed that she had high blood sugar (blood sugar level is 15 mmol/l). She was taken to the prison again on February 3, 2010. Her blood sugar level was as high as 18 mmol/l. She also had high blood pressure. Although her physical condition was worse, the prison authorities accepted her this time.

Ms. Kan Jixiang, 48, is from Jinqianguanzhuang Village, Tanbu Town, Mengyin County. She was found carrying Falun Gong materials at the Linyi City long-distance bus station at 11:00 a.m. on January 11, 2010. Bus station police officers took her into custody and interrogated her. She is now in the Linyi City Detention Center.

11. [Tengzhou, Shandong Province] Ms. Jiang Li Arrested
Ms. Jiang Li from Tengzhou, in her 70s, went to her child's home in Jinan City. She was followed as she distributed Falun Gong information and was and still is held in custody in Jinan. Police took her back to Tengzhou once and ransacked her home.
12. [Baoding, Hebei Province] Zhengcun Township Police Station Officers Arrested Practitioners and Confiscated Their Vehicle
Several practitioners from Baoding drove a van to distribute Falun Gong information in Zhengcun Township, Xushui County, on January 18, 2010. Someone reported them to the police. Zhengcun Township Police Station officers confiscated their van, drivers' licenses, two cell phones, and nearly a thousand yuan in cash.
Ms. Bai Linju, a family member of the van's owner, and several relatives went to find out about the van in Zhengcun Township at noon on January 19, 2010. Township police arrested all five relatives and confiscated several MP3 players. One of the relatives, a driver, lost consciousness. While critical condition, he was taken to the Xushui County Emergency Center. The police were afraid to take responsibility for his medical treatment. They left him in the emergency center and hurriedly departed. The driver had to pay his own medical expenses. All the relatives who had been arrested returned home, but the van has still not been returned to them.
Ms. Bai went to the Zhengcun Township Police Station again on February 5, 2010, demanding the return of their van. The Xushui County police arrested her. She is now at the Xushui County Detention Center. Xushui County and Mafang Township Police Station officers arrived in four police vehicles to harass Ms. Bai's family on the morning of February 6, 2010.

13. [Cang County, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Fengpo Has Been Held for Four Months
Mr. Li Fengpo, retired from the Cang County Water Resources Bureau, was arrested at home at around 9:00 p.m. in October 2009. Cang County police took him to the Cang County Detention Center, where he has been held for four months.
14. [Xixiang County, Shaanxi Province] Eight Practitioners Held in Custody at an Undisclosed Out-of-town Location
Mei Lin, head of the Chengnei Police Station in Chengguan Town, and four other officers arrested Mr. Hu Youming, Ms. Dong Guilin, Ms. Yue Xiancui, and eight other practitioners between July 19 and August 20, 2009. They confiscated practitioners' computers, CD burners, and copiers. Two of the eleven arrested practitioners were bailed out, one was placed under long-term surveillance, and eight others were covertly sentenced and sent to undisclosed out-of-town locations. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Zhao Bixiu, 59, from the Juchao District, Chaohu City, was arrested as she spoke with people in a village about Falun Gong. Local police later transferred her to the Juchao District Domestic Security Division. She is now in the Chaohu City Police Station.

Mr. Wang Baoliang and Ms. Xu Lianxiao distributed Falun Gong materials in Tongzhaipu Village near Tanghe on the afternoon of January 25, 2010. They were reported and arrested and are now at the Tanghe County Detention Center. Ms. Xu Lianxiao was transferred to the Tanghe County Custody Center.

18. [Ya'an City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Wang Longying and Three Other Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Wang Longying, Ms. Li Hanxia, Ms. Jin Wenrong from Xianghua Township of Yucheng District, and Ms. Wen Xiuying from Fengming Township were arrested as they spoke with people about Falun Gong in Caoba Town on January 16, 2010. The police ransacked Ms. Wen's home two days later. They also harassed the three other practitioners' families. The four of them are now held in the Duoyun Detention Center.

19. [Gangu County, Gansu Province] Ms. Mao Xiulan Arrested
Gangu County Police Department Domestic Security Division head Gou Binya and others broke into Ms. Mao Xiulan's home in Dashi Village, Dashi Township, at 11:00 a.m. on January 28, 2010. They took Ms. Mao into custody and confiscated a printer, a computer, copies of Falun Gong books, CDs, paper, and other Falun Gong related materials.
Ms. Mao Xiulan, 46, has two children, one in the high school and the other in middle school. Her parents-in-law, in their 80s, are bedridden and need her to take care of them. Her husband has gone out-of-town to see a doctor.

20. [Huangshi, Hubei Province] Ms. Li Zheng Arrested in Wenzhou
Ms. Li Zheng from Huangshi was arrested at her provisional dormitory in Wenzhou, where she worked part-time. It happened at around 11:00 p.m. on February 2, 2010. Longwan District Police Department Domestic Security Division officers took her to a detention center in Wenzhou and claimed that they would hold her for 15 days.
21. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Additional Information Regarding the Arrest of Mr. Jiang Guangfu and Mr. Ni Jiaxiang
Mr. Jiang Guangfu, 64, and Mr. Ni Jiaxiang, in his 40s, from the Renhepian District distributed Falun Gong information on December 12, 2009 in Wuding County, Yunnan Province. Wuding County Police Department officers arrested and held them at the Wuding County Detention Center.
22. [Shenzhen, Guangdong Province] Ms. Gan Jiejun and Mr. Wei Junyan Held in the Futian District Detention Center
Ms. Gan Jiejun and Mr. Wei Junyan were recently arrested in the Changcheng Building area in the Futian District, Shenzhen City. They have been held in the Futian District Detention Center for more than 20 days.

Mr. Zhang Jiuliang from the Shaisi District in Jingzhou City was arrested on September 19, 2009. Shashi District Police Department Domestic Security Division officer Li Zhigang and other officers made the arrest. They confiscated a computer, cash, a bank deposit book, a cell phone, and other personal belongings. This same group of police also arrested Ms. Fu Wanhua near the Computer Shopping Center and then took the two practitioners to the Shashi District Detention Center.
Shashi City Procuratorate officials prosecuted Mr. Zhang and Ms. Fu on January 12, 2010. They face sentencing.
