(Clearwisdom.net) A while ago, I learned that a practitioner from our area who has been imprisoned for the last 7 years was divorced by her husband. Her father said, "I will visit her [in prison] if nobody else does." A few days later, I ran into him. He was around 70 years old. After so many years of suffering, he was still firm in his belief and supportive of his daughter's faith. I thought about what I could do for them. This thought awakened me. Like many practitioners, I have unwittingly walked a path arranged by the old forces on this issue. I would like to share my thoughts with others. Please point out anything inconsistent with the Fa.
This is what often happens: When we hear a practitioner is detained at a police station, we go there to urge his or her release, since we thought it would be easy. (Actually this first step is already acknowledging the persecution. Since we think it would be easy, the old forces would make it appear difficult.) If the practitioner has already been sent to a detention center, then we feel discouraged. This is further acknowledging the persecution. If he or she has been sentenced to one year in labor camp, then we basically give up and wait passively for a year. Looking at this process, we are controlled by the old forces at every step and walk right into their plan. This makes it very difficult to rescue practitioners and leaves gaps for the old forces to exploit and continue to persecute us.
Some practitioners say that we don't accept this persecution. If that were true, why did our rescue efforts waiver? Sometimes we are only going through the motions. Once a practitioner is sentenced to years in prison or labor camp, we stop sending forth righteous thoughts and clarifying the facts. The persecution continues yet we have given up. In other words, we have acknowledged and accepted the outcome to various extents.
Practitioner A is a good example. In our area, we all know that A was sentenced to 13 years in prison. Let's look inward and examine ourselves. Do we have the thought, "A is sentenced to 13 years in prison"? Sometimes we may think, "A has been imprisoned for x years, and has x years left."Have we not accepted the 13-year sentence, then? Aren't we sending energy to the prison term? Master said, "Matter and mind are one thing." (Zhuan Falun) " The evil might even say, "Look, even Dafa disciples have accepted the 13-year sentence."To put it seriously, aren't we aiding the persecution?
I suggest all practitioners look inside and see if we have acknowledged the persecution. We need to use Fa principles to rectify our notions that don't conform to the Fa, and send righteous thoughts to clear away and disintegrate degenerate matters in other dimensions.
I was sharing with practitioner B a few days ago. I asked how his wife was doing. She is also a practitioner and has been illegally imprisoned for seven years. He said, "She lacks righteous thoughts. Otherwise she would have been able to come back sooner." It may be true that when she was first imprisoned, she lacked righteous thoughts in some respects. However, she has been suffering in a place of darkness for so many years and has been away from fellow practitioners. It is hard enough for her to just keep a firm faith in the Fa. The continuation of the persecution shows that the practitioners outside of prison also lack righteous thoughts. I know that from a human perspective, it has not been easy for Practitioner B to raise their child, visit his wife, maintain their home, and arrange a job for his wife when she is released. But we (including me) have not realized that Master has given us supernormal capabilities with which to rescue fellow practitioners, so that all of us can walk the path arranged by Master, join the wave of Fa rectification, and save sentient beings together. Although we have conducted ourselves well amidst the persecution, we are still walking a path arranged by the old forces.
Master said,
"Did you know that when the persecution of your family members who have been imprisoned is lessened or stopped, it's the result of Dafa disciples exposing and shocking the evil beings while braving evil and danger to take action against the persecution?"(My Version of a "Stick Wake-up")
Reflecting on the Fa, how much have we understood this? Have we met the standard?
Often we do little besides visiting or sending money or supplies to the practitioners who are imprisoned. We just passively wait and endure.
I suggest all Dafa practitioners start with ourselves. We should publicize the situations of all imprisoned and detained practitioners. We should be mobilized as a group and assign tasks. The practitioners who are related to or friends with the imprisoned practitioners should take the lead in coordination. Based on the actual situation, we can use our wisdom to safely meet with imprisoned practitioners and pass onto them information on the Fa-rectification to strengthen their righteous thoughts. At the same time, we can clarify the facts to the practitioners' family and friends and ask for their help. In addition, we need to send righteous thoughts on time and consistently, in order to disintegrate the evil factors that persecute practitioners. We can use the wisdom bestowed upon us to rescue fellow practitioners and negate the persecution.
As I write this article, I recall several persecution cases publicized in Minghui Weekly. Some of the practitioners who were sentenced to eight or ten years in prison had already endured six to seven years in prison when they were tortured to death or became permanently handicapped. Master explained how the evil factors have supplied energy to the chief culprit. In the same vein, when fellow practitioners have been away from the Fa and isolated for a long time, have we used righteous thoughts to assist and support them? Have we done that? Have we, as a group, neglected the practitioners who have been persecuted for a long time?
Fellow practitioners, the persecution in prisons and labor camps is continuing. We can't wait passively any longer! The task of rescuing imprisoned practitioners is urgent. We cannot allow the evil to torture and hurt practitioners at will. We are the guardians of the universe. It is absolutely our responsibility to clear away the evil the persecute fellow practitioners!
