(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 21 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, 20 Falun Gong Practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 practitioners were illegally arrested.

Ms. Deng Guiying from the Hebei District of Tianjin was arrested by plainclothes officers from Dajianglu Police Station in the Hebei District at about 8:00 a.m. on November 9, 2010, while she was handing out DVDs explaining the facts about Falun Gong on Jingjiang Bridge. They then ransacked her home. Ms. Deng was initially taken to the detention center of Tianjin Public Security Bureau Hebei Branch but now has been taken to Banqiao Forced Labor Camp for a term of one year.

5. [Anqiu City, Shandong Province] Updates on Four Persecuted Practitioners
Mr. Zhou Xinrong, Mr. Zhang Xianzhang, Ms. Zhai Liying, and Mr. Xin Lifu were sentenced to seven years in prison. Mr. Zhang, Ms. Zhai, and Mr. Xin are all elderly. They failed two physical examinations conducted in Weifang, and the prison refused to accept them on that account. But, they are still being held.
6. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Guoxiang Sentenced to Forced Labor
Ms. Xie Guoxiang from the Fengrun District had been held in Liujiaying Police Station for 15 days, the maximum legal custody period, by December 9, 2010. Without giving notice to her family, Liujiaying Police Station sent her to Kaiping Forced Labor Camp for a term of one year.
7. [Xinglong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Huairong Arrested
Wang Kunyuan and Dong Guofeng from Zunhua City 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division led a dozen officers to barge into Mr. Zhao Huairong's home in Lengzuitou Village, Bagualing Township, Xinglong County, Zunhua City, on the morning of December 9, 2010. They arrested Mr. Zhao and took his belongings, including a computer.

Mr. Xu Xiangzhi and and his wife, Ms. Xu Cuihua, who had been held in Changningdao Detenti,on Center, were sent to Hehuakeng Forced Labor Camp and Kaiping Women's Forced Labor Camp respectively, on the afternoon of December 9, 2010.
9. [Xian City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Li Xueqing Sentenced to Three Years and Six Months in Prison
Ms. Li Xueqing from Xian City is 68 years old. She went out to explain the facts about Falun Gong. As a result, she was arrested at home by officers from Xinjiamiao Police Station in the Weiyang District, Xian City, and staff from the Community Office at about 3:00 p.m. on August 3, 2009.
Weiyang District Court sentenced her to three years and six months in prison. On October 28, 2010, she was taken to Shaanxi Women's Prison.

Ms. Wang Youmei and Ms. Wang Xianqi from Zhugeliu Village, Zhangying Town, Jaozhou City, was taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp by officers from Zhangying Police Station at about 7:30 p.m. on December 9, 2010.
11. [Shihezi, Xinjiang] Mr. Yang Shuxao Persecuted
Mr. Yang Shuxiao, a retired teacher from 149 Regiment No.1 Middle School in Shihezi, Xinjiang, was arrested by agents from Shihezi 610 Office and Officers from 149 Regiment Police Station on June 11, 2010, while she was back in Shandong Province caring for her mother, who is in her 90s. She was taken to 147 Regiment Detention Center in Shihezi. In November 2010, she was sentenced to three years and six months and she is now being held in Xiayedi Prison in Shihezi.

Ms. Yin Xianju, a retired teacher from Zhongxing Primary School in Xinxing Town, Pengzhou City, was falsely accused and arrested on December 7, 2010, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong to people in Zhihe Town, Pengzhou City.

Ms. Chen Yuanqing from Lingshan County went to Lingcheng Police Station at about 3:00 p.m. on November 19, 2010, to pick up her residence identification card. She was arrested there by officers from Lingcheng Police Station and Lingshan County Public Security Bureau and taken to Qinzhou City Brainwashing Center.

16. [Yishui County, Shandong Province] Ms. Su Jixiang Arrested
Ms. Su Jixiang from Yishui County was taken to Linyi Detention Center by local 610 Office and Domestic Security Division personnel on October 21, 2010. She was sentenced to one year and six months of forced labor and is now being held in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Her family were not allowed to bring her clothes or visit her.
17. [Yanqing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Nie Xiuli Arrested
Ms. Nie Xiuli from Yanqing County was falsely accused and arrested on December 7, 2010, while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong in a residential quarters in Changping County. She is now in Changping Detention Center.
18. [Jining, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Guichun Tried at Home
Ms. Wang Guichun from Jining City was tracked down and arrested when she was calling city government officers to explain the facts about Falun Gong to them. She was taken to Jining Detention Center on July 4 2010. She became very ill at the end of November and was released on bail for medical treatment and to rest at home. On December 3, staff from the local court and procuratorate convened a session at her home and tried her while she remained in bed because of sickness.

21. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Shufeng Persecuted to Death
Ms. Qi Shufeng, 79, from Benxi City was persecuted many times after the persecution began on July 20, 2999. A gang of officers from Mingshan Police Station of Benxi City Public Security Bureau, Mingshan District Branch, barged into her home and took Falun Gong books and materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong, among other items. They threaten her, ordering her to tell them where she got her materials. After being harassed many times, Ms. Qi passed away on the afternoon of November 29, 2010.
22. [Hebei Province] Ms. Bai Xiaoying Persecuted to Death
Ms. Bai Xiaoying, 55 and retired from Huabei Oil Field Hospital General in Renqiu City, was persecuted many times. She passed away at 6:20 p.m. on December 6, 2010.
Ms. Bai was taken to a detention center or brainwashing center three times—in 2000, 2001, and 2007. She was forced to go through brainwashing in Langfang Brainwashing Center in 2007, and after that, she has remained very thin and had no appetite, kept coughing and panting, and was listless. In the end, her whole body became swollen.

Mr. Jia Kaixing from Zhangqiu was falsely accused for explaining the facts about Falun Gong to people. He was arrested by officers from Zaoyuan Police Station and is now being held in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Yang Hongyun from Zhangqiu was arrested at home on December 8.
25. [Baiquan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Yan Chongzhi Arrested by 610 Office and Held for Over Two Months
Baiquan County Public Security Bureau 610 Office directed officers from Dazhong Township Police Station to trick Ms. Yan Chongzhi into going to the police station on the morning of September 30, 2010, and then took her to Qiqihar No.1 Detention Center. They tried to force her to write a guarantee statement renouncing Falun Gong, which Ms. Yan refused to do. She is still being held.

26. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhu Weiwei Being Held for Almost Four Months
Ms. Zhu Weiwei from Chengdu was taken to Caoshijie Police Station in Chengdu by security guards on August 27, 2010, for explaining the facts about Falun Gong in a residential quarters on the north of Chengdu. Her home was subsequently ransacked. Ms. Zhu is now being held in Chengdu Detention Center in Anjing Town, Pi County.

27. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Jianguo and Ms. Ji Fengyu Arrested
Tangshan Domestic Security Division collaborated with the Guye District Public Security Bureau Branch, Dazhuangtuo Police Station, and community office to barge into Mr. Liu Jianguo's home and ransack it. They took a computer and 90,000 yuan, among other items, and arrested Mr. Liu. Mr. Liu was taken to Dazhuangtuo Police Station and then transferred to Tangshan Detention Center.
Officers from Yinggezhuang Police Station ransacked Ms. Ji Fengyu's home in Yinggezhuang, Lujiatuo, on the morning of November 24, 2010, with the excuse of investigating Internet activity. They took her belongings, including a computer and books. Ms. Ji was taken to Yinggezhuang Police Station and then transferred to Tangshan Detention Center.
28. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Hu Wangxiang Sentenced to Three Years in Prison
Dongxihu Court tried Ms. Hu Wangxiang from the Dongxihu District, Wuhan, on November 16, 2010, and sentenced her to three years in prison. After the trial, Ms. Hu's two sons were beaten by a group of officers.
