(Clearwisdom.net) I visited Taiwan, via Hong Kong, as part of a tour group from China. The trip made a deep impression on me.
Looking out of the tour bus in Hong Kong, I saw impressive display boards on the streets, with the messages, “Falun Dafa Is Good,” “The CCP Is Doomed,” and “Heaven Bless China.” I was amazed. I was finally in the land of freedom! My fellow practitioners in Hong Kong clarified the truth about Falun Gong to tourists in the rain. Raindrops ran down their faces. I said in my heart, “My fellow practitioners, thank you for your hard work!”
Huge banners stating “Falun Dafa Is Good” and “Immediately Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong” could be seen everywhere on the streets of Taiwan. There were truth-clarification activities at many tourist spots, where fellow practitioners helped people quit the CCP (Chinese Communist Party).
On our second day in Taiwan, we visited Sun Moon Lake. The blue sky, green mountain, and lake reminded me of Master's visit to the lake. Reciting Master's poem in my heart, I gained a deeper understanding of the hardships that Master has had to go through to teach the Fa and save sentient beings. We got off the tour boat and walked just a little ways before I heard the familiar exercise music. Several Taiwanese practitioners were meditating to the beautiful music. It was a peaceful and solemn scene. “My fellow practitioners, you got up so early so that you wouldn't miss the opportunity to clarify the truth to tourists from China! You might have skipped breakfast to get here so early. Thank you so much!” I said to them in my heart.
At the British Embassy, we saw truth-clarification materials and displays. A van broadcast theNine Commentaries on the Communist Party over loudspeakers. Fellow practitioners were busy talking to tourists. A young practitioner held two display boards in the hot sun and kept talking to tourists. I said, “Thank you for your hard work!” when I passed her. She said, “Thank you!” I couldn't hold back my tears anymore.
I was very touched by the selfless effort of overseas practitioners. On behalf of Dafa practitioners, tourists, and everyone in Mainland China, I would like to express our sincere appreciation for your work!
Another tourist in my group heard me say, “Thank you” to the Taiwanese practitioner. She pressed her hands together in front of her chest to me. I pressed my hands together, too. We realized we were both Dafa practitioners. Tears filled our eyes. They were tears of gratitude and compassion.
This practitioner had visited many places with different tour groups, and she clarified the truth about Falun Dafa wherever she went. She did the same thing with this group. She would talk to the people sitting next to her on the bus about Falun Dafa. She would talk to tour guides about the same topic while walking along with them. She studied the Fa at the airport. She let others go first at meals and when taking pictures. Her actions and demeanor were a great example of a Falun Dafa practitioner. I felt that I was way behind her. I am determined to improve.
With so many tourists from Mainland China visiting overseas, it provides a great opportunity for them to learn the truth of Falun Gong. Most of these people are doing well financially. Some of them still can't accept the truth. Buddhas have compassionately given them opportunities to learn the truth. Unfortunately, misled by the lies of the CCP, the tour guides stopped tourists from accepting truth-clarification materials. Some tourists were too afraid to accept or read the materials. I hope that overseas practitioners and those in China will make more of an effort to clarify the truth to tour guides.
The tourists in my group were very touched by the warm and friendly Taiwanese. They are compassionate and polite. Nobody forced any tourists to buy anything. In traffic, nobody ran through red lights or honked their horns. Nobody littered. Every place we saw was neat. The sky was blue. The water was clear. I was happy and moved to see that the traditional civilization of the Chinese nation, which has been destroyed by the CCP in Mainland China, is still passed down in Taiwan. The universal law of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is spreading in Taiwan and has taken root in people's hearts.
