(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 18 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In this report, 25 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 9 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Cao County, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Menghua Arrested by Domestic Security Division Agents
Agents from the Cao County Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Gao Menghua this morning. The agents also confiscated Falun Gong books, truth-clarification materials, and DVDs.
2. [Chongqing] Update Regarding the Persecution of Ms. Liu Xinyu, Who Works in Shenzhen City
Baoan District Court officials in Shenzhen City illegally sentenced Ms. Liu Xinyu to more than three years of detention on September 3, 2010. Ms. Liu has appealed. Her family needs her help, including her seven-year-old daughter, her almost 90-year-old mother-in-law, and her ill father. Ms. Liu's husband was recently released from prison.

3. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Sun Yougui Sent to a Brainwashing Center
Jiangxia District 610 Office deputy head Yi Chujun went to Wuhan City First Detention Center on December 3, 2010, and seized Ms. Sun Yougui, who had been detained for 15 days.

Ms. Liu Yuqin and Ms. Tang Caiyun are practitioners in Chishanshanqian Village, Shidao Town. A young man reported them to the police as they clarified truth in the Chishan Farmers Market the morning of December 3. These two practitioners are currently at the Rongcheng Detention Center.

7. [Hebei Province] Quyang County Domestic Security Division Agents Framed Ms. Liu Shunxian
Agents from the Quyang County Domestic Security Division and from the Lingshan Town Police Station went to Ms. Liu Shunxian's home in Wazi Village on the morning of August 16, 2010. They arrested Ms. Liu and confiscated personal belongings, including a computer, a printer, an MP3 player, and Falun Gong books. They took her to the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp. Camp officials refused to accept her due to poor health. Quyang County Police Department officials did not release her, transferring her instead to the county procuratorate.
Ms. Liu is currently in the Quyang Detention Center. She has severe high blood pressure symptoms, including blurry eyesight.
8. [Huaiyang County, Henan Province] The Persecution of Practitioners in Cai Village
Ms. Cui Yaofeng, in her 60s, lives in Cai Village, Huaiyang County. Police agents went to her home the morning of December 1, 2010, and arrested her. They also arrested Ms. Jia Kelan, also in her 60s, that afternoon. They then broke in another practitioner's home in the practitioner's absence and confiscated a photo of Master Li, the founder of Falun Gong.
Police released these two practitioners on December 4 after extorting 5,000 yuan from each family.
9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners' Detention Terms Expire Soon
Several practitioners' detention terms will expire soon:
Mr. Hu Guojian, currently in Shenyang Prison; his 10-year-term expires on December 17, 2010

10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] The Persecution of Mr. Wang Cheng and Mr. Li Hongkui
Harbin City Postal Service Bureau officials sent someone to the prison where Mr. Wang Cheng and Mr. Li Hongkui were detained, notifying them of and ordering them to sign a document to agree being laid off. Neither of them signed the document. The Postal Service Bureau officials still fired them. Mr. Wang Cheng had gone to his former employer several times after his release, asking to go back to work, but he was met with refusals.

11.[Longjiang County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Guo Wenjie Arrested
Mr. Guo Wenjie, a practitioner from the Longjiang County Railway Bureau, was arrested on December 2, 2010, and sent to the Paotai Detention Center at the Qiqihar Railway Bureau. Police officers also searched his home and confiscated personal belongings, including Falun Gong books and a computer.

12. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Guangcai Harassed
After Shahe City Domestic Security Division agent Wang Jianjun was sued, he went to Mr. Zhang Guangcai's home and harassed him. In retaliation, Wang Jianjun went to Mr. Zhang's home on December 3 and confiscated his son's laptop computer. Wang returned on December 4 to harass Mr. Zhang.

13. [Shahe City, Hebei Province] Ms. Song Qiaorong Forced to Stay Away from Home
Ms. Song Qiaorong is a Dongjiujia Village practitioner. Wang Jiangjun and Hou Shouhong, two agents from the Shahe City Domestic Security Division, went to Ms. Song's home and her relatives' homes many times to harass them. They also attempted to arrest Ms. Song, making her decide to leave home to avoid further persecution.
14. [Shanghai] The Persecution of Ms. Xu Fengqing
Ms. Xu Fengqing is a 75-year-old practitioner in the Yangpu District. Ms. Xu was at home alone in the afternoon on December 3, 2010 when neighborhood office agents deceived her into opening the door. The agents barged in and confiscated personal belongings, including a computer and a photo of Master Li. The agents also demanded she accompany them to a detention center but she refused. Ms. Xu is at home now, but is closely monitored by police agents downstairs.
During the home invasion, the agents twisted Ms. Xu's hand in order to obtain the keys. Her hand was bruised and bleeding.
15. [Zhumadian City, Henan Province] Court Hearing Held for Ms. Liang Xueping

Zhumadian City Domestic Security Division head Zhang Junling led other agents to Ms. Fu Hongying's home at 5:00 p.m. on July 14, 2009. They arrested several practitioners, including Ms. Fu Hongying, Liang Xueping, and Ms. Zhang Chaoying. Ms. Fu was sentenced to four years imprisonment; Ms. Zhang Chaoying was sentenced to five years. Both of them were sent to Xinxiang Prison. Liang Xueping was allowed to return home because of illness symptoms. Zhang Junling recently said a court hearing was scheduled for Ms. Liang .

16. [Chongqing] Mr. Liu Yi Persecuted by Xishanping Police
Mr. Liu Yi, a 28-year-old practitioner, is currently at the Xishanping Forced Labor Camp in Chongqing. Guards Yan Fei and Li Yong often mistreated him, placing him in solitary confinement. Li Yong also forced Mr. Liu to read pornographic books and sing songs defaming Falun Gong before eating.
17. [Xiong County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Wuhu Arrested and Imprisoned
Mr. Zhao Wuhu, an Anxin County practitioner whom Xiong County officials had sentenced to five years imprisonment, has been sent to the Hebei Province First Prison.
18. [Yanzhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lu Chenge Sentenced to Forced Labor for One and Half Years; Currently in Jinan Women's Forced Labor Camp
19. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Several Practitioners Persecuted
Several practitioners from other places met at Ms. Ma Yuling's home the evening of December 9 to have discussions with practitioners in Xiong County. At 9:00 p.m. six agents from the Fuyang City 610 Office, the Fuyang City Police Department, and the Linquan County Police Department, led by Huang Zongqin, arrived at Ms. Ma's home and arrested the practitioners. The persecutors then searched the homes of Mr. Zhang Tingjiang, Mr. Dai Zonglin, Mr. Yuan Yongmin, and Ms. Yu Zhuzhi. The agents did not release the practitioners as of midnight.
20. [She County, Hebei Province] Ms. Mao Zhiying Detained
Ms. Mao Zhiying, about 40 years old, is employed at the Chemical Laboratory in the Coking Plant of the Tiantie Metallurgical Group. She was arrested on December 3 as she clarified truth. She is currently in the Chunshuling Detention Center.
21. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cong Shuhua Arrested by 610 Office Agents
Daxindian Town 610 Office head Li Yuelian and six police agents headed by Nie Honglin went to Ms. Cong Shuhua's family home at 6:00 a.m. on November 28, 2010. They attempted to arrest Ms. Cong, but she was able to escape. Li Yuelian then ordered the agents to search each room. They confiscated the following personal belongings: Falun Gong books, Master Li's articles, a DVD player, mail, and items valued at more than 200 yuan. Ms. Cai Yucong from Weijia Village in Longshandian Town was arrested. The arrested practitioners' current whereabouts are unknown.
