(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in ten provinces. In this report, ten practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 18 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Guiying Passes Away Due to Persecution
Ms. Song Guiying, 54, was harassed by the police and detained without grounds for an extended period of time. She passed away on October 19, 2010.
Ms. Song was unreasonably fired from her job at Changbai Hotel after the hotel security staff illegally searched her room and found the book, Falun Gong, in March 2003.
Officers from the Shuguanglu Police Station arrested Ms. Song at home and sent her to a detention center, where she was detained for a month in January 2007. The police also extorted 10,000 yuan from her. When she was released, her weight had dropped to less than 90 pounds.
Ms. Song was under considerable stress and pressure from the constant threats and harassment by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). As a result, she suffered internal bleeding in February 2008. She passed away on October 19, 2010.
2. [Antu County, Jilin Province] Ms. Wang Caixia and Her Family Arrested
Ms. Wang's nephew from Dunhua came to visit her in Liangjiang Town in November 2010. He was arrested by officers from Liangjiang Police Station and Dunhua Police Bureau on his way back to Dunhua. The police later arrested Ms. Wang, her younger brother, Mr. Wang Sihai, and her sister-in-law, Ms. Wang Yuzhen. They also ransacked Ms. Wang's home.
Ms. Wang, her younger brother and her sister-in-law were arrested before in 2007 for their belief. Ms. Wang and her sister-in-law were detained for one month, while her brother was sentenced to one year of forced labor.
After he was released in 2008, Mr. Wang Sihai wrote a letter to Shen Xiaobo at the Liangjiang Township government exposing the persecution and torture he suffered. Shen Xiaobo gave the letter to the Antu County 610 Office. As a result, 610 Office personnel arrested Mr. Wang again, after he had only been released 20 days earlier. He was then sent to Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai to serve a two-year term. Mr. Wang was finally released in March 2010 after his term was extended by an additional two months.
3. [Lingyuan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Cuilan Arrested
Liu Jingkui, head of Foyedongxiang Police Station, along with several officers broke into Mr. Yang Chunfu's home in Houzhangzi at around 4:00 a.m. on November 18, 2010. They tried to arrest Mr. Yang, but he escaped. Liu Jingkui became angry and took Mr. Yang's wife, Ms. Wang Cuilan, to the police station instead. That evening, Ms. Wang was taken to Lingyuan Detention Center.
4. [Beijing] Ms. Jin Xiuwen from Xicheng Area Now Detained in Beijing Women's Prison After Being Transferred from Haidian Area Detention Center
5. [Shanghai] Ms. Chen Guoying Detained for More Than a Month
Officers from Yinhang Police Station in Chongyuan area of Yangpu arrested 61-year-old Ms. Chen Guoying while she was distributing truth-clarification materials at Gongnong New Village at about 7:00 p.m. on October 19, 2010.

6. [Weifang, Shandong Province] Mr. Bi Yuzhen Detained
Mr. Bi Yuzhen, 24, was arrested at his workplace by special agents from the National Security Division in early November. Mr. Bi is currently detained at Weifang Detention Center.
7. [Qingdao, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Jian Arrested in Ji'nan
Mr. Liu Jian from Qingdao was arrested on the afternoon of November 12, 2010. He was then taken to Ji'nan Police Bureau Detention Center on November 14, 2010.

8. [Liaocheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Jin Taken to a Forced Labor Camp in Ji'nan
Ms. Wang Jin, 41, is from Liaocheng. Zhou Shengqiao, captain of the Domestic Security Division, took Ms. Wang into custody on November 18, 2010. Thirty minutes later, she was sent to a forced labor camp in Ji'nan.
9. [Zhengding County, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Yuexia and Ms. Ji Junyan Arrested
Officers from Xinchengpu Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Yuexia and Ms. Ji Junyan while they were distributing materials about Falun Gong at Xinchengpu Market in Zhengding County on the morning of November 19, 2010. Ms. Wang and Ms. Ji are detained at Zhengding County Detention Center.

10. [Yantai, Shandong Province] Ms. Pan Shuqin and Her Husband Arrested
Police from Baishilu Police Station arrested Ms. Pan Shuqin and her husband, Mr. Li Changrong, from Yantai while they were telling people the facts about Falun Gong at Dongmeng Market in Dashijie on the morning of November 20, 2010.

11. [Fuyang, Anhui Province] Ms. Wang Suying Detained
Ms. Wang Suying, 68, is a retiree from Fuyang Education Bureau. She was arrested at home in November 2010 and is currently being detained at a brainwashing center located at the Resort for Retired Cadres of Fuyang.
12. [Baoji, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Lan Xiuying Arrested and Her Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Lan Xiuying, 57, from Baoji was arrested in November 2010. The police ransacked her home and confiscated a laptop computer, some Falun Gong books and truth-clarification materials.
13. [Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Chen Aiqin and Mr. Wu Xiangbing Arrested on November 19
14. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Yao Yumin and Her Family Persecuted
The police from the Fengrun Domestic Security Division and Quanhetou Town Police Station arrested Ms. Yao Yumin at her home in Wushizhuang Village, Fengrun at around 10:00 a.m. on November 17, 2010. They also ransacked her home and arrested her husband, Mr. Chang Zhanxun. They confiscated a computer, Falun Gong books, and a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong. Ms. Yao's husband was detained for 15 days at Fengrun Detention Center. Ms. Yao was also detained but later released.

Many officers and several police cars arrived at Ms. He Fating's house in Songjiang Village of Shuangbei Jialing Factory, Shapingba in Chongqing at about 2:00 a.m. on November 17, 2010. They arrested Ms. He, ransacked her home, and confiscated many of her personal belongings.
17. [Foshan, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Ruikai Arrested
Mr. Li Ruikai was taking care of his booth at a market in Lishui Town, Nanhai District of Foshan when he was arrested on November 19, 2010. He was taken to Shunjinxi Police Station in Lihuihe. He was then sent to Sanshui Brainwashing Center at around 3:00 p.m.
18. [Yichang, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Xiaojian and Ms. Wang Wenping Detained
Police officers from Xiling District of Yichang followed Mr. Wang Xiaojian to the home of Ms. Wang Wenping in Yiling District and arrested both practitioners. They are detained at Yichang First Detention Center.

Changjiang Elementary School teacher Ms. Tong Jinxian and Mr. Fan Fei from Baota Road in Huangzhou have been subjected to persecution in the Wuhan Brainwashing Center. They have recently been transferred to Huanggang First Detention Center, where they are still detained.
21. [Anlu, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang San Arrested
Personnel from Anlu 610 Office and the police bureau arrested Mr. Wang San at his home on November 17, 2010. Mr. Wang was taken to the Anlu Detention Center, where he is still detained.
