(Clearwisdom.net) I am a doctor at a university. I was fortunate enough to be able to learn about Falun Dafa in the winter of 1996, and I started the cultivation practice at that time. I have been practicing for 14 years now.
The students in our school come from all over the country, and those who come from the countryside are normally poor. If they get seriously sick, they don't have the money to get medical treatment. So when they come to the school clinic, if there is time I talk to them about the greatness of Falun Dafa and the persecution, as well as the spreading of Dafa in the world and the staged "Self-immolation in Tiananmen Square." I also advise them to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations to ensure a safe future. As long as a person believes what I tell them about Falun Dafa, no matter how serious their disease, he/she always recovers very quickly.
I. A Student's Nephritic Syndrome Disappears
A student was diagnosed with nephritic syndrome (a disease of the kidneys) in a provincial hospital. He was a junior student when he first visited me. He took medicine, including hormones, all the time. He had to have his biochemistry indexes tested in the hospital every two weeks to determine what medicines he should take. This student came from a village, and his financial situation wasn't good. Because of the poor nutrition provided at the school, and the stress from his studies, he was very depressed. When I first met him, he had a mental collapse. Upon seeing him putting on so much weight after taking the hormones, his parents were very worried and tried to persuade him to quit school and go home. He cried and told me that he was already in his junior year, and he wanted to make it through to graduation. If he went home, the village had no medical facilities, and he could only wait to die. He told me that he was very confused and depressed, and he didn't know what to do. After I heard his story, I talked to him from the view point of a mother and a long-time friend. I asked him if he had heard of "Falun Dafa," "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," and if he knew about quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations to secure a safe future. He told me that he saw some writings on some money, but he didn't understand much about it. I then told him that Falun Dafa started in 1992 and was quickly spreading in China until the persecution began on July 20, 1999, even though Falun Dafa practitioners had committed no crimes.
I told him that due to its marvelous effects in rooting out diseases and keeping one healthy, Falun Dafa can make the illnesses you have disappear if you read the Falun Dafa books, do the Falun Dafa exercises, and conduct yourself in your daily life according the standard of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." You can also recite "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" daily. The Chinese Communist Party insists on persecuting people who practice Falun Dafa. In China, there are countless people who have been sent to the brainwashing centers, and tortured in psychiatric hospitals. Some people are illegally sentenced with no grounds. They even remove organs from some practitioners when they are alive. Many others are tortured to death. Heaven's law won't tolerate or allow the sins that the CCP has committed! Heaven's law is fair, and heaven will eliminate it. The Party and its affiliated organizations are made up of those who have sworn to join it, to struggle for it for their lifetimes, and to readily give their lives for it. So if heaven needs to eliminate it, won't those who belong to it be eliminated along with it? Many Chinese people joined it innocently, so in order to rescue and protect those bound by the CCP and its affiliated organizations, heaven has set up a way for you to quit the CCP. If you do so sincerely from your heart, when heaven destroys the CCP, you will be spared, even if you use a pseudonym or childhood name when you withdraw. It will dissolve the venomous oath and segregate you from the CCP. This is not something you can buy with money. Some people might say that I am swindling you, as in this society there are people who swindle people for money and fortune, but do you think I would swindle your health and safety like this?
After we talked, I saw that the student had tears in his eyes. I was not sure if this was due to his kind thoughts after learning the truth about Dafa or if he saw hope, but he quit the CCP youth league and young pioneers on the spot. I also told him to keep reciting "Falun Dafa is good," and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" at all times except when he was eating, in a class, or sleeping. Two weeks later, this student rushed in with his lab test results in his hand. He took my hand and was too excited to talk. I took a look at his urine test results, which were normal. After quitting the CCP-affiliated organizations, he felt better and better over time. He said he didn't know how many thousands or tens of thousands of times per day he recited the special words I told him, but in this way he became healthy and started a new life. Those who quit the CCP wholeheartedly and commit their daily conduct according to the standard of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance will have happy futures.
When he graduated from college, he came to say goodbye to me. He had become a completely healthy young man. With tears in his eyes, and in front of many other students and my colleagues, he repeatedly bowed to me and said thanks. In fact, the person he really should have thanked was our great Master, Mr. Li Hongzhi.
II. Hepatitis B Patient with Three Positive Test Results Turned into a Negative Carrier
A male sophomore student had hepatitis B, with all of the three test results returning as positive. He had a chronic illness and discomfort in his liver, his appetite was really bad, and he was very poor. After I got to know him, I introduced him to the facts about Falun Dafa and about quitting the CCP. The student declared that he would quit the CCP Youth League and Young Pioneers on the spot, and sincerely recited daily, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." As a result, this student got a little better every day. After one semester, not only was he spiritually energetic, his chronic cold had gone away, and all three positive indexes for hepatitis B turned negative.
III. Recovering Quickly from Serious Injuries
1. A family member of one of the college faculty injured herself from a fall. Due to lack of money, she stayed in bed for six months, and still couldn't get up by herself. After I learned about this, I went to tell her about Dafa and let her know how good Dafa truly was. Apart from eating and sleeping, she often recited "Falun Dafa is good." Within a week of doing so, she was able to get up by herself with the help of a cane. Within another week, she was able to get down the stairs with the help of her cane. As soon as she saw me, she could not stop crying. I cried with her too, because I was happy that a life had been saved. She later began to practice Falun Dafa.
2. A temporary worker at the school cafeteria was severely burned on his entire leg by boiling water. It was swollen with a big purple, liquid-filled blister, and became badly infected. Seeing the pain he was suffering, I didn't think too much, but just told him to rest in the clinic, and repeatedly recite "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." After 20 minutes, the complexion on his leg had gradually turned back to a normal skin color, and the blister had also become smaller.
IV. Severe Insomnia Removed
A lot of people have bouts of insomnia. In our university, there was a professor who was suffering from long-term insomnia. Even taking sleeping pills no longer helped him sleep, and he suffered a great deal. He was a typical atheist and a scientific researcher. Because we knew each other, we talked frequently, and I tried many times, in a light-hearted manner, to tell him to say, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good," calmly before he went to sleep. I told him that a miracle might happen to him if he did, but he never believed me, and instead laughed at me. I kept on telling him, "You should just give it a try!" Because his insomnia was so painful and he had no other means to deal with it, he started to recite those words, and once he started doing so, a miracle occurred. He told me that by saying it over and over, he didn't know when he fell asleep, and he slept soundly that night. He has slept well ever since. He said to me, "I am a science researcher and a leader in my field, but I didn't realize that I am also one of the people who were misguided by the CCP's lies. I was so blind. I am so appreciative for the blessing I gained from Falun Dafa."
V. A Person with Hypertension and Cardiac Disease
There was an older lady who had long-term high blood pressure, with systolic blood pressure of over 180 mm Hg, and diastolic pressure of over 120 mm Hg. She also had cardiac problems, but after she took medicine, her blood pressure usually fell too low. She often had to stay in the hospital because she would faint, either due to either high or low blood pressure. I told her about Dafa and its greatness, and recommended that she say, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Not long afterward, her blood pressure became stable and her heart no longer felt uncomfortable. She became much happier. This older lady now recites it when she gets up in the morning, after her nap, and before she goes to sleep. She says, "As long as I am still alive, I will keep on reciting it."
VI. The Treatment Results of the Swine Flu
There was the epidemic of the H1N1 swine flu virus last year, and it was very serious in our school. Every patient had a high fever with pus in his/her tonsils, as well as other symptoms all over the body. The school residence hall was crowded with sick students. All those that were sent to the major hospital for treatment took a week or more to recover. Every day during my work, I clarified the truth about Dafa to students as I treated them. As long as a student thought that Dafa was good and quit the CCP, the treatment was very effective. Some students didn't believe in what I said, but once they saw for themselves, that those reciting, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good" got well so quickly, even though the medical treatment I gave them and the symptoms they had were the same, they also started to recite the words from their hearts.
There are so many stories related to my cultivation practice, that I cannot list them all. The benefits that I just mentioned in this article, are but minor examples of Dafa's supernormal power and greatness. Every person should be given the right to learn the facts about Dafa and get the good news for themselves and for their family members, in order to bring a bright future for sentient beings.
