(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 19 counties or cities in 12 provinces. In this report, 10 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 25 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about the Arrests of Mr. Wang Tieli and Mr. Sui Yonglu
Mr. Wang Tieli and Mr. Sui Yonglu from Chaoyang City were arrested in Bajiazi Township, Beipiao City, by the Chaoyang Domestic Security Division. They were detained at Laingshuihe Detention Center.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yan Airong Arrested and Money Extorted from Her Family
At around 11 a.m. on September, 2010, Wang Quanfeng from the Fangzi District Domestic Security Division and about six officers from the Jiulong Street Police Station arrested Ms. Yan Airong from Menjia Village, Jiulong Street, the Fangzi District, Weifang City, and detained her at the Weifang Detention Center for eight days. They extorted 10,000 yuan from from her family for her release.
They confiscated a portrait of the founder of Falun Gong, Teacher Li Hongzhi; several Falun Dafa books; a set of cassettes of Falun Gong lectures in Jinan; three MP3 players; one MP4 player; and materials about Falun Dafa.
3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ding Lu Transferred to Dabei Prison in Shenyang City
Ms. Ding Lu from Dalian City was sentenced to one and a half months of forced labor in March 2009 and held at the Masanjia Detention Center in Shenyang City. She was escorted back to Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian in February 2010. During a secret trial, she was sentenced to a five-year prison term, to be served at the Dabei Women's Prison, Shenyang City.
4. [Fuyu County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Deng Qingshan Detained
Mr. Deng Qingshan was arrested at a factory by officers from Tiexi Police Station on October 15, 2010.
5. [Jiutai City, Jilin Province] Mr. Guo Yanxiang Arrested Again
Mr. Guo Yaxiang, a teacher from the Gantou Primary School in Shanghewan Township, Jiutai City, was arrested at home on October, 12, 2010. Her whereabouts are unknown.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Meng Hong Arrested
Ms. Meng Hong from Shunyi County was arrested on October 14, 2010.

7. [Beijing] Ms. Zhai Fengxian, Ms. Zhang Xiaoyi and Ms. Li Yu'e Arrested
Ms. Zhai Fengxian, Ms. Zhang Xiaoyi, and Ms. Li Yu'e were arrested and their homes were ransacked. They are in the Shijingshan Detention Center.
8. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Peiyun Arrested
Ms. Wang Peiyun was arrested and taken to the Liu Changshan Brainwashing Center shortly after being released from a detention center.
9. [Weihai Shi, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yanqiu Arrested
Ms. Li Yanqiu from Wangjiaqin Village in the Gaoqu District, Weihai City, was reported to and subsequently arrested by police officers for trying to persuade pupils to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party Young Pioneers.
10. [Liangshan County, Shandong Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Hou Yuelan, Ms. Chen Qiuxiang, Ms. Wang Yuxiang, Ms. Liu Ruiying, and Ms. Li from Maying Township, Liangshan County, were arrested at home by the 610 Office, the police bureau, and police officers from the Maying Township Police Station around 3 p.m. on October 11, 2010. Their homes were ransacked. They were held first somewhere in the township and then escorted to the county detention center. The detention center refused to take Ms. Hou Yuelan, Ms. Liu Ruiying, or Ms. Li in since they were seniors and not in good health. The deputy head of Maying Township and the 610 Office took Ms. Hou Yuelan and Ms. Liu Ruiying to the Jinan Brainwashing Center on October 14. Ms. Li returned home safely. Ms. Chen Qiuxiang and Ms. Wang Yuxiang are still in the county detention center.

11. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Liu Guiqin Imprisoned
Ms. Liu Guiqin from Fuyang City was arrested by police officers from the Yingquan District Domestic Security Division on October 11, 2010, for putting up Falun Gong truth-clarification materials.
12. [Hengshui City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Caina Arrested
Five plainclothes officers broke into the home of Ms. Ms. Li Caina from Liman Township, Raoyang County, and arrested her. They confiscated a computer, two mobile phones, Falun Dafa books, and Teacher's portrait. Ms. Li is now in the county detention center.
13. [Jingxian County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Hongliang Arrested
Mr. Zhao Hongliang was arrested by officers from the Shijiazhuang Police Department
14. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Shijie and Ms. Zhang Chun Sentenced to Forced Labor
Mr. Zhang Shijie from Tangxian County was held at the Baoding Forced Labor Camp and Ms. Zhang Chun at Hebei Women's Forced Labor Camp.
15. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhu Huai Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Officials from the Domestic Security Division of the Jinshui Police Sub-bureau, officers from the Balu Police Station, and community leaders took Mr. Zhu Huai from Zhengzhou City to a brainwashing center located at the Hongshulin Rehabilitation Sanitarium.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Xia Aihua Arrested
Ms. Xia Aihua, in her 40s, from Jixiang Lane, Dacheng Road, Huanghelou Administrative Area, was arrested on October 15, 2010.
17. [Junshan District, Hunan Province] Ms. Jiang Yanhua and Other Practitioners Arrested
Officers from the Liangxinbao Township Police Station and Zhu Guoguang, Shen Wenxin, and Li Zhijun from the local 610 Office arrested Ms. Jiang Yanhua, Ms. Fan Qingyun, and Ms. Chen Min on October 12, 2010.
Ms. Jiang Yanhua and Ms. Fan Qingyun were released, but Ms. Chen Min was taken to Yueyang City.

Ms. Wu Yinua, in her 40s, from the Yanjiang District in Ziyang City was arrested on September 14, 2010.
19. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Cai Huaying Arrested
Ms. Cai Huaying, 60, is retired from the CSR and Yuchai Group. She was reported to police for talking to people about Falun Gong on the afternoon of October 13, 2010. Officers from Binhe Road Police Station broke into her home and took her to the Er'ehu Brainwashing Center, Yingjie Township.
20. [Beihai City, Guangxi] Mr. Zhang Ruifang Arrested
Four officers from a local police station in Beihai City arrested Mr. Zhang Ruifang and took him to the city's drug rehabilitation center.
21. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] Ms. Zhong Mingying and Others Practitioners Harassed
The Hengyang County 610 Office and officers from the Goulou Police Station harassed Ms. Zhong Mingying, Mr. Dai Kuisong, and Ms. Qu Fengying. They arrested and held Ms Qu Fengying's husband, Mr. Zhong Mingsheng.
22. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Yang Xizhi Arrested
Ms. Yang Xizhi from Jiedong County was arrested on October 12, 2010.
