(Clearwisdom.net) The annual Atlantic Antic Street Fair was held on Sunday, September 26, 2010, along Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Over one million people packed the streets for this event.

Local Falun Dafa practitioners set up a booth at the festival to introduce Falun Gong and demonstrated the exercises.
Many People Interested in Learning Falun Gong
Karen, a practitioner who participated in the event, said it was a perfect day. "Many people came to our booth to inquire about the practice and take literature. For the past ten years, many people have heard of the persecution of Falun Gong, but they don't know a lot about Falun Gong itself." Karen said, "They were happy to learn that there is a practice site in their community and delighted that it is offered for free."
One man told Karen that he had known about Falun Gong for ten years. Today when he saw the booth, he made a decision to learn the exercises.
Another practitioner at the event, Betty, has been involved over the years and noticed that interest in learning the practice is growing noticeably. She said, "Many people stopped to learn more about the practice... Many of them have seen Falun Gong practitioners doing the exercises at Times Square and Union Square. A man told me he saw the large-scale Falun Gong exercise demonstration at Times Square. He said it was great practice, but he couldn't understand why the Chinese Communist Party persecutes it."
A woman named Effia stopped at the booth. She used to be the pastor of a church. She asked for a business card from Betty and said she'd ask the current pastor to invite the practitioners to introduce Falun Gong in their church. Effia has seen Falun Gong exercise demonstrations at Union Square.
There were also some materials in Spanish at the booth. One Hispanic man took a flier and a paper lotus flower. He asked if there were any CDs, but unfortunately the last informational CD had already been given out. The practitioner told him to visit the FalunDafa.org website, where all materials are free to download. When he was leaving, he thanked the practitioners again and again.
