(Clearwisdom.net) Every Falun Dafa practitioner's cultivation is complicated. There are many reasons for this. No matter what the reasons are, as long as we steadfastly follow the path that Master has arranged for us, completely negate the old forces' arrangements, don't even recognize them, ceaselessly return to the principles of the Fa, and correct ourselves, the evil doesn't dare to interfere with us. This is because we have Master and the Fa.
Recently in our local area a practitioner had serious tribulations that appeared in the form of sickness karma. Everyone had different understandings of how to help her get rid of these tribulations. Some thought that we should wholeheartedly help her send forth righteous thoughts. Others said that this was due to gaps in the body of practitioners, was not her individual problem, and that we should systematically take turns to go to her home, send righteous thoughts, and study the Fa. Others thought that she had already reached this state, was unable to find where she fell short within, and it would suffice for her to listen to Master's lectures on her MP3 player. Although everyone's thinking and methods were quite sound, in the end she was still dragged away by the "sickness" demon. Furthermore, she wasn't the only practitioner to suffer such a fate.
I believe that when she faced these tribulations, there was nothing wrong with helping her send righteous thoughts and study the Fa, but we can't do this as a mere formality, nor can we interrupt our efforts to clarify the truth}. And we shouldn't have just helped her send righteous thoughts, we should have helped her improve herself based on the Fa, look inward, find her attachments, and remove them. That way the evil would have disintegrated. At the same time we needed to be patient, forgiving, and compassionate. This is the path of our cultivation.
How should we have guided her to look within? Master has said,
"If qi ascends to the top of the head and cannot come down, it is only a temporary state. For some people, it may last a very long time or half a year, and it still will not come down. If that is the case, one can find a real qigong master to guide the qi down, and it can come down. In qigong practice, those of you whose qi cannot go through a pass or come down should look for reasons within your xinxing to determine if you are stuck at that level for too long and whether you should upgrade your xinxing! Once you truly upgrade your xinxing, you will find that qi coming down." (Zhuan Falun)
We should have used righteous thoughts to guide her. First of all, we we should have cooperated well to send forth righteous thoughts with her. Each of us should have looked within. In this kind of righteous field she would have naturally followed and looked within as well. She would have found what she was normally not aware of. She would have found the attachments that she had been unable to let go of for a long period of time. She could have resolved her fundamental issues. In addition, the matter in other dimensions would have been eliminated.
Because as Master has said,
"Cultivation depends on the efforts of the individual while transforming gong is done by the master." (Zhuan Falun)
This way, she would have been able to quickly break through this persecution in the form of sickness karma. Furthermore, her family members and the people around her would have been offered salvation.
In addition, I would like to clearly explain one thing. Practitioners that help to send righteous thoughts need to have pure and righteous thoughts. They must not approach things with a human heart. When practitioners thoughts are righteous, it helps Master rectify the Fa. They must also not complain when other practitioners are unable to participate, otherwise it creates gaps among practitioners and leaves room for the evil to interfere. Because practitioners are urgently needed to save people, we cannot help send righteous thoughts in large numbers. Many projects to save people still need practitioners to cooperate well as one body to do them. By helping in small numbers, we won't delay saving people, and we will avoid practitioners with sickness karma developing too much dependency on others. Otherwise, the evil will utilize the human heart to drag practitioners down and interfere with saving sentient beings.
There are also practitioners who have never been willing to step forward and their main consciousness is not clear. Eventually the old forces kick them out. This kind of practitioner usually does not have righteous thoughts. Once they encounter the demon of serious "sickness karma," it is very difficult for them to free themselves. Furthermore , when practitioners go to help them send righteous thoughts and look within, they don't have righteous thoughts, and after a long time they are not able to reach the state of a cultivator. Once the evil takes them away, it will have a negative effect on Falun Dafa. When encountering this kind of situation, everyone needs to be able to distinguish right from wrong based on the principles of the Fa. Because Falun Dafa practitioners cultivate their main consciousness, there will naturally be external factors at play when we help practitioners, but the most crucial are the effect of internal factors.
