(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Jilin Province) Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials have twice arrested Ms. Liu Fang from Dehui City because she firmly believes in Falun Dafa. They have sentenced her to forced labor and brutally tortured her.
Ms. Liu started practicing Falun Dafa in March 1999, and benefited both physically and spiritually. She followed the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in every area of her life. She worked hard and never focused on personal gain or self-interest. She was recognized as an "Excellent Employee" by the branch of the bank where she worked.
The following is Ms. Liu Fang's personal statement about being persecuted.
First Persecution
On June 23, 2005, I was arrested by the train police when they saw me reading a Dafa book on the train. I was taken to Dehui City Public Security Bureau. Three police officers then ransacked my home and confiscated Teacher's picture, Dafa books, and many other items. Later, they covered my head and took me to a secret room, which I knew later to be a building behind the Dehui City Hotel. My hands were handcuffed behind my back, and about half a dozen police pulled the handcuffs up with much force several times. They fiercely slapped my face and brutally kicked me. Then they forced me to sit on a chair and handcuffed me around the back of the chair, while pressing down hard on the handcuffs. Several of them spoke filthy words and shouted that they would throw me down the stairs. They also claimed that if I died they would tell people that I had committed suicide. Later they pinched my arms until they were black and blue. The torture lasted for more than 10 hours.
Two weeks later, they sentenced me to one and a half years of forced labor and took me to Jilin Province Women's Labor Education Center, which is also called Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. Half a dozen police officers forced me to have my fingerprints taken and put the prints on a copy of the "five statements" (similar to the three statements).
In the labor camp, we were forced to do hard labor for over 15 hours a day, every day, and often did more hours but never got paid. We only had three days off during the Chinese New Year.
I was released two days after my term expired. When I returned home, I had no source of income because the management at my workplace did not allow me to work there anymore. They terminated my contract and did not provide me with any living expenses.
Second Persecution
At 8:00 a.m. on February 28, 2008, Long Taiping, the superintendent of Xinhui Street Police Station in Dehui City, along with over ten police officers, broke into my home and ransacked it. They didn't show any ID or offer any reason why they were there. They confiscated Dafa books, an MP4 player, a cell phone, a picture of Li Hongzhi, a DVD player, and other items. I was arrested and sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor in Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp, where I was forced to do hard labor for more than 12 hours every day. We had no holidays there and never got paid.
On May 12, 2008, I started to protest the persecution. I refused to wear a name card, do any labor, or report to the police. Guard Zhang Lihong slapped my face, kicked me, and forced me to stand all day. As long as any detainee in Group 5 hadn't finished their work, I had to stand there with them.
I can't remember how many times Wang Limei, the commander, shocked me with high-voltage electric batons on my hands, mouth, shoulders, neck, breast, and heart. After being shocked, I was weak and seemed paralyzed. I dared not lie on my left side to sleep. If I did, it felt as if my heart was coming out. My breast also hurt a lot. The parts that were shocked became swollen. Wang Limei put a red plastic bucket on my head, then hammered on it with electric batons until it broke. She also wrote my name on the front and back of my clothes. My family was not allowed to visit me or send anything to me. Twice, my family brought me things, but I never saw them. This time I was not released until 67 days after the term of my sentence expired.
