Validating the Fa with the Changes in Me

(Clearwisdom.net) I am a retired elementary school teacher. Since I started practicing Falun Gong, the school officials saw the changes in me. In the past few years, they also saw the determination and the path that I walked under the Chinese Communist Party's persecution. These two aspects of my cultivation journey led them to see the truth about Falun Dafa.

1. Changes in My Health

I am sixty-five years old this year. I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1995. At the time, I had many illnesses, including heart disease, high blood pressure, sciatica, rheumatoid arthritis and other ailments. My eyesight was often blurry. I was always dizzy and had difficult walking. I was taking western medicine and Chinese medicine every day, but I still suffered from various illnesses. After I started practicing Falun Dafa, my illnesses disappeared within six months.

In 1996, everyone at work had physical examinations. The results of my examination showed that everything was normal. This helped convince those around me that Falun Gong enables one to obtain physical health.

After July 20, 1999, the Chinese Communist Party started persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. People around me often asked me if I was still practicing. I always used my own personal experience to explain to them that Falun Dafa is good. Not only was I still practicing, but also spoke out about Falun Gong and the persecution.

In 2000, the city I live in demanded all Falun Gong practitioners to have a physical examination at a certain time and at an appointed hospital. The examination included twenty items, including blood pressure, blood fat, brain, heart, liver, and bladder, etc. Practitioners were led by the respected workplace officials. In my case, the secretary of the Communist Party committee, the school principal and another teacher took two of us practitioners (both retired) to the hospital.

When we got there, there were already over a hundred people waiting in line. When it was my turn, the school officials were having a discussion next to me. They were asking the doctors about my physical conditions as if they were really concerned. All of the doctors at the hospital gave the same answer: "These practitioners are not sick, but we are still asked to examine them." It was not until several years later that we learned about the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, which these examinations were very likely a part of.

When the test results came out, the school officials picked them up themselves. They looked it over and over, and even asked each other about other practitioners' test results. As one can imagine, this city-wide test demonstrated to people that Falun Gong practitioners do have healthy bodies.

2. Reliability at Work

I retired in 1998. Before I retired, I was the keeper of the school storage house and also the administrator of the school documentation center. In the past, these two tasks were taken care of by the secretary of the Communist Party Committee and the school principal. Since the regulations from the bureau require dedicated persons to manage the storage house and the documentation center, they decided to let me take on the tasks. They had concluded that, "He practices Falun Gong, so he is honest. When he manages the storage house, he won't embezzle the stuff that belongs to the school or give them away to other people. With documents, he would be careful so they won't get lost."

In reality, I fulfilled my duties and responsibilities as expected. The storage house did not have records before. After I took over, I created a complete record and set up incoming and outgoing station records. When it came to managing all of the files and documents, I was conscientious. For several years, our school was exempted from the bureau's city wide inspections.

After I retired, the person that took over my job was unfamiliar with the work. He often called and I would patiently explain to him every time. In October 1999, the Bureau of Education planned to inspect our documentation center. The school officials called me and asked for help. I agreed without hesitation. The next morning, I showed up at the school. The principal gave me the key to the documentation center and told me to get the work done by myself. So I went to work for over twenty days and finished filing all of the documents. I also helped the new person become better acquainted with the work. Our inspection passed smoothly.

Because of that, the secretary of the Communist Party and the principal thanked me with some gifts. They also wanted to give me some money. I refused both the gifts and the money. The principal asked, "Why don't you want anything, you did all the work?" I replied, "I just want to help, not because I want money or gifts. I am a practitioner." From this instance, they could see that Falun Dafa practitioners are truly honest and reliable.

Teacher gave me a healthy body. My Xinxing improvements are due to the Teacher's Dafa lectures. As a true cultivator, I will do my best to follow Teacher's requirements: I will look inward, get rid of everyday people's notions, assimilate to the universal principles, and save sentient beings.
