(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 28 cities or counties in 12 provinces. In this report, 18 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 34 practitioners were illegally arrested.

3. [Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Shi Xiaoying Arrested Again
Ms. Shi Xiaoying was born in Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. Now she lives in Hongxi Village, Caiqiao, Beilun District. On May 26, 2004, she was arrested by the Caiqiao police because she was studying Falun Gong and sharing her experiences in another practitioner's home. On July 1, 2004, she was sentenced to four years in prison by the Beilun Court.
Between September 1 and 8, 2009, Ms. Shi was arrested again because she was reported for distributing Falun Gong materials in the Darunfa Supermarket in the District.
4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Tiechao and Three Other Practitioners Arrested
At 10 p.m. on September 13, 2009, the Jinzhou police and the Linghai National Security Police arrested Mr. Liu Tiechao, Ms. Li Jinqiu, Mr. Zhang Deguo, and another practitioner. The police searched Mr. Liu's home and took a computer, a color printer, and a set of DVDs on the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. Now the four practitioners are being detained at the fifth floor of the Linghai National Security Team building.
5. [Yanshan County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhang Jianli Persecuted
In April 2009, Mr. Zhang Jianli was arrested. He is still being detained in the Yanshan Detention Center.

6. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Two Cases of Practitioners Harassed
On September 4, 2009, Zhang Xuefeng, Associate Chief of the Yangmazhuang Township Police Station, and five others rushed into the home of Mr. Zhang Wei in Dongyangmazhuang Village. At that time, Mr. Zhang Wei was not at home. The police took away Dafa books, a satellite dish, and other property.
At 10 a.m. on September 8, 2009, Mr. Wang Jianshe went to Qiyuanzi Village and helped a man install a ceiling. Liu Guangzhi, Chief of the County National Security Team; Zhang Jianqiao, Head of the Yangmazhuang Township Police Station; and Zhang Xuefeng, along with other policemen, broke into the home of the village man. They intended to arrest Mr. Wang Jianshe, but they failed because other villagers prevented them.

7. [Jiangbei District, Chongqing City] Five Practitioners Arrested
At 3 a.m. on September 6, 2009, the police rushed into the home of Mr. Huang Guanghui and arrested him.
At 3 p.m. on September 10, 2009, Liang Shibin and six or seven policemen from the Jiangbei National Security Team rushed into the home of Ms. Zhang Guilan and arrested Mr. Xu Xingfu, Ms. Chen Min, and Ms. Li Guangyu, who were studying the Falun Gong teachings. Afterwards, they ransacked the home of Ms. Zhang and took away a computer, Dafa books, and other property.
They are being detained in the Shimahe Police Station in Jiangbei District, Chongqing City.
8. [Hengyang City, Hunan Province] In September 2009, Ms. Ding Guifang and Ms. Yang Suying Arrested by Officers from the Guangdonglu Police Station in the Zhuhui District

On September 12, 2009, Ms. Liu Jinhua, Ms. Huang Mianxiu, and Ms. Yin Juxiang were arrested by the Jindian Town Police Station while they were talking to people about Falun Gong in Jindian Town, Yunmeng County. They are being detained in the Yunmeng Detention Center.

10. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Sang Suxin and Her Husband Mr. Yang Zhongsuo Arrested
On the night of September 12, 2009, Ms. Sang Suxin was arrested by police from the Xinhualu Police Station. On the early morning of September 13, 2009, the police rushed into her home and ransacked it. Afterwards, officers from the Ninganlu Police Station took her husband, Mr. Yang Zhongsuo, from home. The couple is being detained in the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.
11. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zuo Yongtai Arrested
At 11 a..m on September 14, 2009, five or six people from the Daiyue District Police Station and the Taian Aerospace Special Vehicle Limited Company rushed into the home of Mr. Zuo Yongtai and took him away. His whereabouts are unknown.

12. [Rongcheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Lian Guilan and Ms. Bi Xiufen Persecuted
Ms. Lian Guilan and Ms. Bi Xiufen from the Shidao Administration District were arrested on Shidao Street by the Shidao Police Department at noon on September 14, 2009.
13. [Linqing City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Yuchun Arrested
In August 2009, the National Security Police broke into the home of Ms. Zhang Yuchun, who lives in Guotun Village, Daxinzhuang, Linqing City. They took away her computer, printer, Dafa books, and Falun Gong materials.
On September 14, 2009, Ms. Zhang was taken to the Linqing Detention Center by the National Security Police.

14. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Province] Ms. Zhang Fang and Ms. Feng Jianhong Taken Away
On July 30, 2009, Ms. Zhang Fang was taken way from her home by officers from the National Security Team of the Jinfeng District Police Department and the Tiedong Police Station. The police also ransacked her home and took away a computer and Dafa books. That night, Ms. Zhang's husband went to the police department and got her back.
On the same day, Ms. Feng Jianhong was also taken to the police station and her home was searched. The police released her because they did not find any evidence.
15. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Suyun Sent to Forced Labor Camp
On August 25, 2009, Ms. Liu Suyun was arrested. At the beginning of September 2009, she was sent to a forced labor camp for a 15-month term.

17. [Hongjiang City, Hunan Province] Recent Persecution of Practitioners
On September 10, 2009, Ms. Li Julan, Ms. Xiang Jinlan, and Ms. Yang Guilan from Anjiang Town, Hongjiang City, went to Shendujiang Village, Xuefeng Town, Hongjiang City, and talked to people about Falun Gong. They were reported to police by the Zhang Shi couple, who live in that village. Three policemen took them away. Ms. Yang Jinlan was released immediately. Ms. Li Julan and Ms. Xiang Jinlan were sent to the Baihunao Detention Center in Anjiang Town. Ms. Li will be detained for 15 days and Ms. Xiang will be detained for 10 days.
18. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Bilin Arrested
On the morning of September 14, 2009, Ms. Wu Bilin and Ms. Song Wenxiu's daughter went to the Jiangan District 610 Office to explain the facts about Falun Gong to Hu Shaobin. They requested the release of Ms. Song Wenxiu, who was detained in the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center in the Jiangan District. However, Hu Shaobin and other policemen arrested Ms. Wu Bilin. Now her whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Police from the Qianyang Township Police Station Harassed Ms. Fang Daxia
At 6 a.m. on September 7, 2009, about ten officers from the Qianyang Township Police Station rushed into the home of Ms. Fang Daxia, who lives in Hongjiatun Village, Qianyang Township. The police took her away. When her mother tried to prevent the police from taking Ms. Fang, the police officers pushed her and she fell down. Due to the seriousness of the situation, the police let Ms. Fang go.
20. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Ling Yun Sentenced to Three Years in Prison by the Fengrun District Court
At 10 a..m on March 10, 2009, the National Security Team of the Fengrun Police Department ransacked the home of Ms. Ling Yun in Zicaowu Village. They took away Dafa books, a computer, a printer, and other property worth about 10,000 yuan. Ms. Ling was arrested and has been sentenced to three years in prison.

At the beginning of August 2009, Mr. Tian Yongjian was arrested. He has been sent to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.
22. [Mianyang City, Sichun Province] Mr. Sun Yi and His Brother Forced to Become Homeless
Before the 2008 Olympic Games, unknown agents went to the home of Mr. Sun Yi and his brother and stole their personal property. The brothers were forced to become homeless and destitute. Their whereabouts are unknown.
At 11 a.m. on September 9, 2009, six unknown agents ransacked the home of Mr. Sun Yi's parents in Meijiagou Village, Mianyang City.
23. [Xin County, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Zhangju Arrested
Mr. Li Zhangju, about 50 years old, lives in Xihongmiao Village, Gucheng Town, Xin Couty, Shandong Province. In August 2009, the Gucheng Police Station arrested him. He has been sent to a forced labor camp for a one-year term.
24. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Zhang Guili and Ms. Liu Jingyu
On the morning of September 9, 2009, Ms. Zhang Guili and Ms. Liu Jingyu, from the Jinzhou District were followed and arrested while they talked to people about Falun Gong near the Used Goods Market in Jinzhou District.

25. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. He Guixiang Arrested
Ms. He Guixiang from Linghai, Jinzhou City, was arrested. The police ransacked her home and took a laptop, a laser printer, a color printer, and some supplies for printing.
26. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Additional Information about the Death of Ms. Wang Huilan
On September 1, 2009, Ms. Wang Huilan was taken away from her home by the Zhuozhou National Security Team. The police also took away Ms. Xie Haiying and Ms. Wang Shumin, who were visiting her.
On September 7, 2009, Ms. Wang Huilan died as a result of force-feeding by Yang Yugang and others. On September 10, 2009, the police cremated her body.
On September 4, 2009, Mr. Chen Shuyi from Laishui was arrested.
Ms. Xie Haiying has been released. Ms. Wang Shumin and Mr. Chen Shuyi are still being detained.
27. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wan Xiuqin Arrested
On the morning of September 3, 2009, Fan Lichun, Chief of the Caigou Town Police Station, along with the Gaomi police, rushed into the company where Ms. Wan Xiuqin works and arrested her. Afterwards, the police ransacked her home. Now she is being detained in the Gaomi Detention Center.

At 9 a.m. on September 10, 2009, Director Li Shenghong of the local community and the local police ransacked the home of Ms. Sun Shaolan. They took away all her Dafa books and Master Li's pictures. Ms. Sun was also taken away. She has been released.

On September 13, 2009, Mr. Guan Fujiang from Qingshui, the Shenbeixin District, was arrested in Hushitai Town. His home was ransacked on the same day. He is being detained in the Hushitai Police Station.

On July 15, 2009, Ms. Liang Xiangjiao was arrested. She has been detained in the Chenjiaji Brainwashing Center.
32. [Deyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Xiao Renying Arrested
At 10 a.m. on September 10, 2009, Ms. Xiao Renying from Yangjia Town, Jingyang District, Deyang City, was reported while she was distributing Falun Gong materials in Yangjia Town. She was arrested by the Yangjia Police Station. Afterwards, the police ransacked her home and took away Dafa books and other property.

33. [Hebiqi County, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Guilian Arrested
Ms. Zhang Guilian, about 60 years old, lives in Huangwangmiao Village, Xigang Township, Hebiqi County, Henan Province. On the night of September 1, 2009, she went out to distribute fliers about Falun Gong. She was reported on and arrested by the local police. She is being detained in the Hebeiqi Detention Center.
34. [Beian City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Huijun Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
In the middle of June 2009, Ms. Wang Huijun was arrested while she was talking to people about Falun Gong in Shengli Township, Beian City. At the end of July 2009, she was secretly sent to the Harbin Forced Labor Camp for an 18-month term.
