(Clearwisdom.net) One afternoon at work, I ran into the former manager of my department. We nodded to each other, then continued along the hallway. As he rounded a corner I heard him call to me.
He said, "Today you're on duty and there's nobody else around, so I want to apologize to you." I didn't understand what he meant, so I asked him what he was talking about. He said, "Before, owing to some matters relating to Falun Gong, I did wrong by you, I was cruel to you. I only did it for our superiors to see. Please don't hate me. I've wanted to talk to you for some time now." "Not at all, I don't hate you," I said.
He continued, "If it was now, and they wanted me to do that (carry out the persecution), I wouldn't do it."
I immediately told him about the importance of withdrawing from the Young Pioneers, the Communist Youth League, and the Communist Party and suggested he quit the Party. Right there in the hallway he wrote his name on the stair handrail, and said that he withdrew from the Communist Party.
I said, "Please remember that Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." "For sure!" he said and happily continued down the hallway.
