(Clearwisdom.net) A private school in the Daba Region of Sichuan Province hired a well-known and experienced math teacher from the period of 2006 to 2008.
In today's society, the standard of morality is degenerating very fast. People fight with each other using all kinds of deception for the sake of personal interests. In such an environment, schools are also affected. Schools sometimes delay or even refuse to pay the teachers' salaries. Bonuses are not distributed fairly either. School officials behave like the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), to do superficial things and deceive people. One day, teachers in the private school were discussing and complaining about the situation. The math teacher was checking his students' homework, when other teachers remarked, "Hey, look at our math teacher. He never fights for anything, but always dares to speak the truth and be fair. He is not afraid of those administrators either. He really has integrity! How are you able to do that?"
The math teacher replied calmly, "Falun Gong represents Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. It is really right. Especially the word 'Forbearance'; it does not mean to withdraw - it means to forge ahead instead!" All the other teachers agreed with his statement.
The math teacher is not only very good at teaching and admired by the students, but he courageously helps students and teachers at every opportunity. Whenever he faces the school board or principal, he kindly advises them. He is quite devoted to teaching. Every time he encounters a conflict, he tries his best to compromise and never fights with others for power or benefits. Therefore, he is very much respected by others.
Actually, the teacher has a child who is a Falun Gong practitioner. Before the persecution started in 1999, although he did not practice Falun Gong himself, he read Dafa books to his child frequently. At that time, the school required every teacher to have good handwriting. He practiced his handwriting by carefully copying Zhuan Falun. However, after July 1999 when the persecution began, his child and family suffered all kinds of tribulations. At the beginning, the teacher asked his child to "follow the steps of the CCP." Later, he became more and more clear-minded, and he convinced others to withdraw from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, helped the families of practitioners who were being persecuted, and now he openly praises Falun Gong. Over these years, he changed little by little. The truth of Dafa changed him!
The persecution of Falun Dafa by the CCP has lasted 10 years. However, the seeds of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance have taken root in many people's hearts. More and more people can tell evil from good, and clearly identify the truth with their conscience. The righteous field will certainly become stronger and stronger!
