(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Han Lianquan, 56 years old, resides at Zhangcun, Beitian Village, Dingxing County, Baoding District, Hebei Province. Since he is determined in cultivating Falun Dafa, he has been harassed and persecuted by the local CCP and government. On June 25, 2008, several policemen, including Wang Yong, broke into Mr. Han Lianquan's home and confiscated Dafa books, all of his family's personal ID's, household registry books, cash, cell phone, and other valuables without a proper warrant.
Four people forcibly arrested Mr. Han Lianquan, carrying him to the vehicle and taking him to the local government. Two unidentified people slapped Mr. Han Lianquan in the face. Later he taken to the National Security Team of Dingxing County. In the evening on June 25, Mr. Han Lianquan was detained at the Dingxing County Detention Center.
Mr. Han Lianquan was detained in the No. 9 Cell of the County Detention Center. The monitor of the prisoners used his shoes to hit Mr. Han Lianquan in the face. Mr. Han was later transferred to the No. 11 Cell and severely beaten for a full day.
On July 3, the National Security Team sent Mr. Han to the Baoding Forced Labor Camp, where the doctor noticed that Mr. Han was badly beaten and his eyes were injured, so the doctor refused to take him. When confronted with Mr. Han's charge of their abuse, the police denied ever laying a hand on him. Later, a doctor from the forced labor camp took Mr. Han Lianquan to the hospital for a check-up.
Mr. Han Lianquan was sentenced to forced labor camp for one year. In the labor camp, Mr. Han Lianquan saw Zhang Zhanqian and a policeman with the last name of Liu use several electric batons to shock Dafa practitioners and subject practitioners to sleep deprivation.
