Falun Gong Saved My life

I am a farmer. My older daughter is married and my younger daughter studies in Shenyang. We are not a wealthy family. This April, I was hospitalized for myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS, formerly known as "preleukemia").

During the eleven days of my stay at the hospital, I suffered tremendously both physically and mentally. I was admitted on April 1 and spent the first eight days in the hallway. I ached all over, and could not move or talk. I had not eaten for six days straight. At night, I could not rest well. Sometimes the doctors would say nasty things to me. I was truly miserable. After spending 22,000 yuan, I could no longer afford to stay in the hospital. My condition did not improve either. We used up all of our savings and even my older daughter's savings. We asked for help from the village committee and local government, but they did not address our problem. My wife had to collect garbage to make money for my treatment. Although it seemed hopeless, we had to seek medical treatment.

All of my relatives and friends came to visit me. Knowing that they came to say good-bye to me, I was very sad. One day a person whom I did not know came. He told me, "If you recite in your heart 'Falun Gong is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,' it will help." After he left, I started reciting those two sentences. Severals days later, he gave me a book. I told him, "How can I read? My eyesight is very poor." This Dafa practitioner then visited me often and read the book Zhuan Falun to me. He would read for two to three hours at a time. I started to understand some principles and became more and more interested. Unconsciously, my condition improved daily. My eyesight also improved and I could read myself. My wife and children were so happy. They said that this book was truly miraculous.

Later this practitioner brought me a CD player so I could listen to Teacher's Fa lectures. I felt Teacher's words were so true and down-to-earth. After a while, I could get out of bed and do some exercises. The practitioner brought me a DVD player and TV set and taught me the exercises. As I practiced, I became stronger and stronger. People were so surprised. I know that Teacher cured me. Our whole family is very grateful for Teacher and Dafa. Thank you, Falun Dafa. Thank you, Teacher!

Story of a Grateful Senior

There is a senior in his eighties in Hegang city, Heilongjiang Province. Wherever he goes, when he sees Falun Gong fliers posted, he stops and respectfully bows to it. Why is he so respectful to Falun Dafa? There is a story behind this.

He was a coal miner when he was young. He inhaled large amount of dust every day. As a result, he developed silicosis (black lung).se recurred, he had difficulty breathing, chest pains, and a cough. He became very weak. He was so tormented that he could not lay down or stand up and could only lean on the bed with an oxygen tank next to him. No medical treatment helped, but instead made it worse. When he was suffering, a Falun Gong practitioner told him about the magnificence of Dafa and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. He started practicing Falun Gong, and a miracle happened soon after. His disease was cured. He is so happy. In the past, he could not even take care of himself. Now he is healthy and peaceful. He can even do some farm work. He can never forget the happiness and joy Dafa has brought him.

On July 20 1999, Jiang's regime started the brutal persecution against Falun Dafa. Practitioners have been tortured. This senior also lost an environment in which to study the Fa. However, he is a conscientious person. He remembers in his heart, "Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." Even in the harsh environment under the CCP's power, he is dignified and tells people, "Falun Dafa cured my disease."
