My wife and I started practicing Falun Gong in July 1997. But she only believed in the healing illness and getting fit part, so she was not very diligent in doing the exercises. Thus she had many illnesses over the years. She has had rhinitis for almost thirty years. She also had hives and acne. Recently she had had a low fever for about a year, her temperature remaining above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and she every drowsy every day.
One afternoon, she told me that she had a sharp pain in her neck. She saw a doctor, who diagnosed the problem as degenerative osteoarthritis. She then thought, "Even someone with cancer could be healed after practicing Falun Gong. This time I will practice it diligently; I believe it will heal my illness." She became determined to cultivate well.
When I returned home that evening, she told me her diagnosis and her thoughts on being a determined practitioner. I asked her, "Do you still have the pain?" "Yes." She replied. "Have you read the book [Zhuan Falun] and done the exercises?" "No," she said. The pain was still there when she went to bed. She said, "Maybe I won't be able to sleep again tonight." I said, "Since you decided to practice well, then you should read the book before going to sleep." So she started reading.
The next morning, she told me that she didn't feel any pain and she slept the whole night through. However, just after she got up, she again felt pain in her neck. She asked me to get up to do the exercises with her. So we did the first four sets of exercises. After one hour of exercises, I asked her, "Do you still feel the pain?" She had even forgot her neck pain. Then she moved her neck left to right, up and down, and it was not painful at all. She jumped up and down, saying "Falun Gong is really miraculous!"
For the next two months when my wife did the exercises, she had a runny nose. Then, the rhinitis that she had for thirty years and that forced her to sleep with her mouth open was completely healed. All her other illnesses were gone, too. She is a firm Dafa disciple now.
