(Clearwisdom.net) On June 10, 2009, practitioner Wang Lipin was arrested by Tang Jianmin and Xon Gangyong of the National Security Bureau of the Yueyanglou District Police Department and officers from the Sanyanqiao Police Station in Yueyang City, Hunan Province, while he was tending his store. They ransacked his house, seized his deposit book, and jailed him.
On the morning of June 8, 2009, Jiang Chao of the National Security Bureau of the Lou District Police Department of Yuyang City, Shen Wenxin of the Junshan District Police Department, and several other officers, arrested practitioners Xu Genyuan and Huang Youjun, who had been forced to stay away from their homes to avoid persecution. They were tortured and interrogated for three consecutive days and nights, and were then taken to the City Jail at 5:00 p.m. on July 10, and cuffed. Before their arrest, the national security police at the Yueyanglou District Police Department had spent a few months trying to locate them, knocking on people's doors and showing their photos. Finally some unwitting person led the police to the practitioners. They broke in and arrested the two practitioners, seizing their equipment, computer, Dafa materials, and personal belongings.
At around 8:00 p.m. on July 7, 2009, about ten officers, led by Shen Wenxin, broke into practitioners Mr. Zhao Qunshan and his wife Zeng Chun's house in Yueyang City. They cuffed both them with one hand behind the back and the other over the shoulder. Four officers held Ms. Zeng (about thirty years old) on the floor and slapped and interrogated her. The slapping caused a lump to form in her neck and her hands became swollen. Mr. Zhao was held down by six officers in another room and brutally beaten. The police also ransacked their home. They later went to Cengshan Town in Junshan District and arrested seventy-year-old practitioner Wang Hongpo, and ransacked the home of another practitioner, Ms. Zhou.
Currently Ms. Zeng Chun and Mr. Wang Hongpo are being held in the Hubin Detention Center. Mr. Zhao is being held in the Junshan District. Earlier, the police arrested practitioner Ms. Yi Shuhui from her store, and sent her to the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.
Practitioner Zhao Qunlan of Junshan District went to Xiangyin to visit her relatives. On the morning of May 27, she happened to meet two other practitioners, Ms. Zhao Ti and Ms. Xiao Simi, on the street. While they were talking and walking, several police officers suddenly arrested them. Later it was learned that the police officers Shen Wenxin, Deng Hongqiu, Cai Dechun from the Junshan District 610 Office, and the national security policeman, Li Xi from Xiangyin, carried out the arrest. Zhao was taken to the Yueyang City First Detention Center by Officer Shen Wenxin and others on the afternoon of May 27, while Ms. Zhao Ti and Ms. Xiao Simi escaped.
On March 30, 2009, practitioners Ms. Luo Xinhua, elderly practitioners Ms. Yan and Ms. Luo from Yueyang City and Ms. Xue Li from the disaster area in Guangyuan City, Sichuan Province were reported to the police when they told people the facts about Dafa in the suburb of Lenshuipu. They were arrested by Chief Zhen Han and Instructor Zhao Yuanjun from the Meixi Police Station in suburban Lenshuipu Town. Ms. Yan and Ms. Luo were released a day later, Ms. Luo Xinhua was released ten days later, while Ms. Xue Li is still detained. They turned her in to the court and attempted to sentence her to prison. Her sister-in-law went to tell Zheng Han and Zhao Yuanjun the facts about Falun Gong. Zheng said viciously: "I just don't want to help Dafa practitioners."
Ms. Xue's brother and his wife served people breakfast in Yueyang City to support themselves, their 90-year-old mother and five-year-old son. On March 5, 2008, Jiang Chao, Fu Wei and a few others from the national security squadron in Yueyanglou District Police Department arrested him and ransacked his house. They tortured and interrogated him and then sentenced him to three years in prison. They sent him to Jinshi Prison in Hunan in February, 2009. His sister Ms. Xue Li went to rescue him and was arrested twice. Now their elderly mother is critically ill and eagerly waiting for her son and daughter to come home.
With no financial support for herself, Xue Li's sister-in-law, while taking care of her five year old child, had to run around to the jail, court, district attorney's office, and Jinshi Prison. She also had to go back to her hometown in Sichuan Province to take care of her dying mother-in-law. When she went to Yueyanglou District Police Department and told officers Jiang Chao, Fu Wei and others of her situation and questioned them about her husband's and sister-in-law's treatment, the two police officers dragged her by the arms from the seventh to the first floor.
