(Clearwisdom.net) One day at the end of May 2009, two practitioners rode on a motorcycle to a rural area in Hubei Province to talk to people about Falun Gong and help them withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. At around 4 p.m., someone reported the practitioners. Subsequently, the police from the local police station took the practitioners in.
On the way the the station, the two practitioners kept calm, sent forth righteous thoughts, and clarified the truth to the police. They strengthened their thoughts: "We are here to spread the truth of Falun Gong, the police are also sentient beings who need to be saved."
The chief at the station had the same surname as that of a famous and honest official in ancient China. A practitioner used this as a starting point to clarify the truth to him. The practitioner told him that,Mr. X (the ancient official) was upright and honest, enforced the law impartially, was not intimidated by strong authority, spoke up for citizen's benefits, and his great name and reputation has forever been honored by history. He said, "I hope that you can be like him, understand the truth of Dafa, and make a right choice for a bright future." The practitioners refused to cooperate with the interrogation and did not give out their personal information. They only did what practitioners should do in that circumstance, they clarified the truth. They explained that Falun Dafa has spread worldwide, that Heaven will eliminate the CCP, that 55 million Chinese people have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, etc. The police all listened to the practitioners attentively.
At dinnertime, one officer was left to watch the two practitioners. They sat down, crossed their legs, and raised their hands to send forth righteous thoughts. The officer said, "Emit gong! Hurry!" A child of another policeman was there and curiously watched the practitioners. The practitioners said to the kid, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good." The police officer then encouraged the child to recite, "Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good."
At around 9 p.m., the chief was back from dinner. He returned the bags and other property to the practitioners, and told them, "We do not want to get involved in this at all. We had to dispatch officers after you were reported three times. Our area was once the CCP's base, and people are still more or less deeply influenced by the CCP's doctrines. You'd better not come here again. Be careful." He sent a policeman to accompany the practitioners as they left the area.
Another officer walked out of the police station with the practitioners. He told them that he would carefully read the truth clarification material. The practitioner told him that the material was for saving people and suggested he give them to his relatives and friends after he finished reading, so more people could learn the truth. The officer nodded and also apologized for taking them to the police station in the first place.
The two practitioners returned home safe and sound.
