Bulgaria: First Balkans Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference Held in Sofia

(Clearwisdom.net) On May 24, 2009, Falun Dafa practitioners from all Balkans countries, as well as from Austria, Germany, Spain and the United States, gathered in the capital of Bulgaria - Sofia, for the first First Balkans Falun Dafa Experience Sharing Conference.

The conference commenced with sending forth righteous thoughts, to stop the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China, who have been subjected to persecution and torture for more than 10 years now by the Communist regime. Practitioners in China are held in labor camps, prisons and are even used as a live organ bank for transplantation operations.

Fifteen practitioners from Greece, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Turkey, Spain and other countries shared their experiences gained from cultivation in Falun Dafa.

A practitioner from Bulgaria shared her understanding and experience during the promotion of the European tour of Shen Yun Performing Arts, which held performances in more than 50 countries on four continents this year. A group of Bulgarian practitioners spread flyers and informed the public, as well as arts circles, about the shows across Europe. They also organized a group of Bulgarian people to go see the show in Vienna.

A practitioner from Spain narrated how she started to practice Falun Dafa and what problems she faced in the beginning. She also shared how she fought bad habits and attachments, after experiencing the benefits that Falun Dafa brought to her and to other people.

A practitioner from Serbia shared how he implements the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance in his daily life and how his life changed for the better after he started practicing Falun Gong.

After the successful conclusion of the Fa conference, practitioners from all countries gathered together for a meeting in order to further share their experience and to discuss future projects in the region of the Balkan Peninsula.
