Xu Bin Recounts the Savage Abuse that He and Other Practitioners Experienced at Prisons in Sichuan Province
(Clearwisdom.net) Police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Xu Bin in October 2001 in Sichuan Province, while he clarified the truth. His imprisonment lasted seven years. The abusers extorted confessions from him at the Yanbian County Detention Center, where he was handcuffed with his arms behind his back and hung by the handcuffs from metal window bars, with his feet not touching the ground. While confined in Deyang Prison, Mr. Xu was sent to the "strict monitoring" section for one month. At another facility, the Majiaping Prison, officials had four criminals closely watch him.
Elderly Couple Continuously Persecuted, Husband Passes Away
(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Wang Gongliang is from Baini Town, Chongyang County of Hubei Province. He began practicing Falun Gong in 1996. Sometime between November and December 1999, the police ransacked his home and illegally arrested him. Then, they took him to Chongyang County Public Security Bureau before transferring him to a detention center. Only after the family was extorted for 1,500 yuan did the police release Mr. Wang.
Mr. Liu Hongwei Tortured by the Jilin National Security Team, Sentenced to Thirteen Years in Prison
(Clearwisdom.net) On October 24, 2006, Mr. Liu Hongwei, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jilin City, Jilin Province, was illegally arrested by the Chinese Communist Party National Security Team and the police from Changchun. He has since been detained at Jilin City Detention Center. During this period of time, the police have several times interrogated Mr. Liu and sent him to the Kouqian Brainwashing Center in Jilin City for persecution. Currently Mr. Liu has been sentenced to thirteen years and has been sent to the Gongzhuling Prison, where he was severely tortured. Mr. Liu has been tortured to the state that he can no longer walk. Whenever his family visits, he can only be brought out to see them on a chair.
