1. [Hepu County, Guangxi Autonomous Region] Mr. Li Zhong and a Dozen Other Practitioners Unlawfully Taken into Custody
On the morning of March 18, Cheng Daohong, head of the Hepu County 610 Office, ordered a large number of police officers to arrest a dozen or so practitioners, including Mr. Li Zhong, Mr. Lai Yunhui, and Ms. Huang Zailan. The practitioners were taken to a brainwashing center in a drug rehabilitation facility. They pried open doors, confiscated books and personal items, and took practitioners to the drug rehabilitation center, as well as any members of the practitioners' families who argued with the police. Families have been denied visits to those in custody.

2. [Fujian Province] Mr. Ye Guohua Taken to a Secret Location in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province
Mr. Ye Guohua in Jian'ou City was taken into custody by the Jian'ou Domestic Security Division on July 28, 2008. There was no word from him until about 20 days ago. It was reported that he was secretly taken to the Rujiang Forced Labor Camp by the Jian'ou Domestic Security Division a month ago. He stayed there for just a few days before being transferred to a secret location in Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province.

4. [Jianyang City, Sichuan Province] Situation of Several Practitioners under Persecution
On the afternoon of March 17, 2009, the Political and Judiciary Committee and the 610 Office in Jianyang City called an urgent meeting. They made an arrangement to send out police forces across the city that night to take practitioners into custody and search their homes. It has been reported that the following practitioners were taken into custody and their homes were searched: Ms. Lei Jinxiang, in her sixties, who lives by herself; Ms. Zhou Rongzhen, in her fifties, with one hand handicapped, her husband working odd jobs out of town, and her elderly father left at home unattended; Ms. Wang Hua, in her sixties; Ms. Peng Xiuqiong, in her sixties; Ms. Liu Dehui, in her forties; and a practitioner with the last name Xu. The whereabouts of these six practitioners are unknown.
In addition, Mr. Liang Shenhui, in his eighties, was released at 11:00 p.m. that night after the police searched his home and took him into custody. The police also searched the homes of Ms. Wang Guihua in the Jiangnan area and of practitioners in several other towns and townships. The police confiscated Falun Dafa books, portraits of the founder of Falun Gong, brochures with persecution facts, and satellite dishes.
5. [Xianning City, Hubei Province] Police Continue to Harass Ms. Yan Qin
At the end of January and the beginning of February in 2008, Ms. Yan Qin was turned in to the police while handing out brochures. Officers from the Yihaoqiao Police Station in the Wenquan area in Xianning City later took her into custody. She was released after having 5,000 yuan extorted from her. The police continued to harass her in 2009.
6. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Peng Weidong and Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
On March 25, 2009, Cheng Hanqiao, an officer from the Liji Street Police Station in Qiaokou District in Wuhan City, and other officers followed Ms. Kong Yulan to the rented residence of Mr. Peng Weidong at Dongfu Plaza on Hanzheng Street. The police arrested Ms. Kong and Mr. Peng. The two practitioners' whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Jingshan County, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Qing Remains in Custody under Orders from Members of the 610 Office and Prison Officials
Ms. Zhou Qing was held at the Fanjiatai Prison in the Shayang area. Her term ended on March 25. When her family went to take her home, the prison officials made up excuses and lies to keep from releasing her. They handed Ms. Zhou over to the Jingshan County 610 Office and State Security Department. Ms. Zhou has been taken to the Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.
8. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Female Practitioner Held at Gongren Village Police Station
At 8:30 a.m. on March 26, 2009, a female practitioner was exposing the persecution at Gongren Village in Qingshan District in the Wuchang area in Wuhan City. An official of the local residential committee forcibly took her to the residential committee and called the police station. The practitioner is currently being held at the Gongren Village Police Station in Qingshan District.

10. [Hunan Province] Ms. Zhou Min Taken into Custody
On March 23, officers from the Hunan Province Domestic Security Division, members of the Wangcheng County 610 Office and officers from the Wangcheng County Police Department took Ms. Zhou Min into custody from her home at the family quarters of her work unit. The police searched her home, and Ms. Zhou is being held at the Wangcheng County Detention Center. Her husband Mr. Xiong Jinze suffered fractures in his spine, neck and left pelvis, and he is bedridden. Their child is only three years old.

Two practitioners were taken into custody in Lieshi Park in Changsha City on March 19. The young practitioner with the last name Lou returned home the next day. Mr. Long Youshi remains in custody. He faces an unlawful forced labor term.
13. [Baiyin City, Gansu Province] Six Practitioners, Including Mr. Wang Genfa, Unlawfully Sentenced to Prison
In April 2008, Zhu Kexia, chief of the Pingchuan District Police Department in Baiyin City, led the police to take six practitioners from their homes to a detention center. The practitioners were Mr. Wang Genfa, Ms. Bai Yujun, Mr. Zhang Sanzhuan, Mr. Chen Fanghua, Ms. Xu Xiaoying and Ms. Yang Hongxia. In August 2008, the first court session was held, with no clear outcome. The six practitioners remained in custody. According to sources, a secret trial was held at the detention center at 4:00 p.m. on March 24, 2009, and each of the six practitioners were unlawfully sentenced to three years in prison.

At 9:30 a.m. on March 8, 2009, seven practitioners were taken to the Qingxiu District Court in Nanning City. The practitioners were Mr. Mo Hongming and his wife, Ms. Fan Ying, Mr. Tang Ning, Mr. Wei Yiheng, Mr. Huang Siqiang and Mr. Shu Zhenghong. The court session lasted until 1:30 p.m.
16. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Mr. Liu Tiegua and Another Practitioner Taken into Custody
On March 24, Mr. Liu Tiegua and an elderly practitioner with the last name Zhu from the Yongxing area in Chenzhou City went to the Xiangyong Coal Mine affiliated with the Baisha Mining Affairs Department. Officers from the Xiangyong Police Station took them into custody. The two practitioners are being held at the Yongxing Detention Center.

17. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gai Yanzhi and Ms. Gai Yanqiu Taken into Police Custody
Ms. Gai Yanzhi and Ms. Gai Yanqiu were taken into custody on March 24. They are being held at the Panjin No. 3 Detention Center.
18. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Jun and Her Sister Ms. Wang Qun Taken into Custody
Ms. Wang Jun and her sister Ms. Wang Qun were turned in to the police around March 23 or March 24. Officers from the Xiuyue Street Police Station in Zhongshan District took them into custody, and the sisters were viciously beaten. Their home was unlawfully searched, and they are being held at the Drug Enforcement Team on Jinnan Road.

19. [Yongji County, Jilin Province] Ms. Su Guifang Taken into Custody
Ms. Su Guifang, 48, lives in Yaqiao Village, Beidahu Town, Yongji County. On March 17, 2009 she was taken to the Yongji County Detention Center by officers from the Yongji County Domestic Security Division. She was placed under 15 days of detention and fined 1,000 yuan. She remains in custody.
20. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ding Chunxia Taken into Custody by Domestic Security Division
On March 25, police officers from the Jiangdong Police Station in Tonghua City went to Ms. Ding Chunxia's home to ask her if she was still practicing Falun Gong. She answered yes and began explaining to the police how Falun Gong teaches people to follow the principle of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance and to be a good person. At 8:00 a.m. the following day, two officers from the Tonghua City Domestic Security Division broke into her home and took her into custody. Ms. Ding is being held at the Changliu Detention Center in Tonghua City.
21. [Jilin Province] Ms. Li An Taken into Custody in Jilin City on the Morning of March 20
Ms. Li An was taken into custody while telling others about the persecution on Caihong Bridge in the Jiangwan area in Jilin City at around 8:00 a.m. on March 20, 2009. The police then searched her home.
22. [Da'an City, Jilin Province] Mr. Wu Tonglin and Ms. Zou Yufang Sentenced to Forced Labor
On March 26, 2009, Mr. Wu Tonglin was taken from his home by the police. He was first placed under 15 days of detention before being taken to Changchun City for two years of forced labor.
On March 27, Ms. Zou Yufang was taken to the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City despite her severe heart disease brought on by the persecution.

23. [Da'an City, Jilin Province] Elderly Mr. Fan Yichang Remains in Detention Center
On the morning of March 25, Mr. Fan Yichang, an elderly practitioner in Da'an City, was walking in the streets. Chen Yamin and a dozen other police officers kicked him down to the ground and arrested him. Mr. Fan has remained at the Da'an Detention Center.
24. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Quanying Behaves Abnormally As a Result of Severe Abuse in Labor Camp
Ms. Liu Quanying was taken home from the labor camp by her family in Haidian District, Beijing on October 13, 2008. She did not eat anything other than a little rice soup. She has stopped talking to others completely. She often sleeps on the ground naked.
In 2006 labor camp guards used sharp tools to poke at her neck, which caused severe bleeding. Later she was transferred to a different team for further abuse.
25. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Shi Meilan Taken into Custody
On March 18, officers from the Guan County Police Department and the Jia Town Police Station suddenly arrived at Jinglou Village in Guan County. The police searched the homes of all the practitioners, but they did not find anything. In the end, the police took Ms. Shi Meilan to the Guan County Detention Center. Ms. Shi returned home on March 26.
On March 24, the same group of officers broke into Ms. Shi Fenglan's home in Jia Town. The police searched her home and took her into custody. It is possible that she is being held at the Guan County Detention Center.
26. [Tai'an City, Shandong Province] Liu Hong Unlawfully Sentenced to 15 Months of Forced Labor

On March 24, Ms. Huang Shuhua and Ms. Lan Shuqin from Chenjiahe Village, Jimo City under the jurisdiction of Qingdao City, were turned in to the police while they were exposing the persecution in Shandong Village in the Tongji neighborhood. On their way home, officers from the Mashan Police Station in Jimo City took the two practitioners into custody and locked them in a basement. On March 25, Ms. Lan was released. Ms. Huang remains in custody at the Mashan Police Station.

28. [Mengyin County, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Jinhua and Other Practitioners Taken into Custody
On March 17, 2009 elderly practitioners Mr. Xue and his wife Ms. Li at the Property Taxes Department were taken into custody by members of the county 610 Office. Ms. Liu Jinhua was also taken into custody by the 610 Office.
29. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Dou Yujun's Wife Taken into Custody
Mr. Dou Yujun's wife, who lives at Xiniangniangzhuang Village in Niangniangzhuang Township, Zunhua City, was taken into custody by the Zunhua Domestic Security Division on the afternoon of March 26, 2009.
30. [Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Xuemin, a Teacher at the Province Electric Power Training Center, Unlawfully Sentenced to Prison
Mr. Zhao Xuemin, a teacher at the Hebei Province Electric Power Training Center, has been under constant persecution since July 20, 1999. He was taken to brainwashing centers, fired, sent to labor camps, or placed under surveillance at home. Recently the authorities ordered that his labor contract be terminated.
On the afternoon of July 3, 2008, officers from the Yuxing Police Station in Yuhua District, Shijiazhuang City unlawfully searched Mr. Zhao Xuemin's home. They took him to the Shijiazhuang City No. 1 Detention Center. The Yuhua District Court sentenced him to four years in prison without notifying his family.
