(Clearwisdom.net) Ms. Li Huixin, in her 40s, is a former staff member of the Shijiazhuang Railway Transportation Section. Since the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong in July 1999, she has endured unimaginable physical and mental pain. She has been illegally arrested, tortured, forced to endure lengthy brainwashing sessions, and had her home ransacked on numerous occasions.

During the past ten years, Ms. Li has been forced into homelessness for over three years, so that her young son has had to grow up without his mother's care and love. In an effort to arrest Ms. Li, the police followed the boy to class every day, causing him to become very stressed. In the end, the child chose to discontinue his schooling, roaming about in despair.

When Ms. Li finally managed to make it home, CCP personnel again started to persecute her, using the excuse of "safeguarding the Olympic Games." On the morning of July 4, 2008, eight or nine officers from the Changfeng Road Local Police Station in Shijiazhuang City pried open the burglar-proof door of Ms. Li's home, confiscating her family property and arresting her. The police also took the computer that her child used for studying, along with other items. Shortly after, she was imprisoned at the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.

Ms. Li's younger sister, Ms. Li Huiqi, also a Dafa practitioner, fell into a vegetative state in February 2002 after being subjected to five years of brutal persecution at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp. She passed away on April 27, 2007. (see http://www.clearwisdom.net/emh/articles/2007/5/16/85688.html)

Around January 10, 2009, the local railroad police informed a member of Ms. Li's family that Ms. Li was receiving a medical infusion at the local labor camp. Ms. Li's son managed to obtain a permit letter on January 16, enabling him to see his mother. When he arrived, the guards turned him away.

A member of Ms. Li's family repeatedly called the Hebei Provincial Women's Forced Labor Camp, asking to speak to manager Zhou. The family member was interested in securing Ms. Li's release, but the manager refused to take his calls. He tried to shirk his responsibility by saying, "To release a person, one must follow a procedure and secure the proper documentation from the Provincial 610 Office."

But, in fact, the Hebei Provincial 610 Office had already stated a long time ago that Dafa practitioners first had to be "reformed" before being eligible for release. If they weren't "reformed" after serving their full term, their term would be extended.
