(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
1. Luo Shiping from the 610 Office of Shuangliu Town in Huangyang County Has Cancer
Luo Shiping from the 610 Office in Huayang Township in Shuangliu County has been participating in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Luo has developed cancer and is now emaciated. What has happened to Luo is a warning not to persecute good people.
2. After Persecuting Falun Gong, Secretary of the CCP Committee Broke His Leg and Became Bedridden
Since July 20, 1999, officials from the Jiujiang Township Government in Shuangliu County instigated officers from police stations and security departments to frequently break into practitioners' homes to arrest them and confiscate their TVs, washers, electric fans, sewing machines, motorcycles, bicycles, and other items. They have also fined steadfast practitioners 1,000 yuan each. When practitioners challenged them by asking why they committed such crimes, a few police officers replied, "What can we do? We are told to do it!"
In January 2000, when Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) Committee Fu Deqi was driving his sedan, he collided with a bus. He lost consciousness, both of his legs were broken, and he was in critical condition. He is now paralyzed and bedridden and has lost his job. His wife was also in the car accident and was hospitalized. Local people said, "No wonder! This if for persecuting Falun Gong and taking bribes behind the scenes!"
3. Sichuan Province 610 Office Associate Head Died in a Car Accident
On April 12, 2002, Jiang Chaolin, associate head of the 610 Office, was returning from Mianzhu to Chengdu City. As he was passing through Shifang City in his way to Guanghan City, he was in a car accident and died. The driver who was in the same car had only minor injuries.
4. Head of Zhonghe Town in Shuangliu County Died in a Car Accident
Lai Shibing, the person in charge of Zhonghe Town in Shuangliu County, had been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for a long time. He instigated guards to break practitioners' ribs and take them to brainwashing centers. He also instigated guards to lock practitioners in septic tanks. Practitioners were only allowed two meals a day. When they became emaciated and at the brink of death, they were released. In September 2004, Lai had a car accident. He died and his car was totaled.
5. Former Leader of Shuangliu County Detention Center Died in a Car Accident
Wu Gang, formerly in charge of Shuangliu County Detention Center, was 42 years old. During his tenure, practitioners were cruelly tortured at his detention center. Between 2001 and 2005, among the practitioners who were cruelly persecuted were: Tang Zhiqiang (he was persecuted to death), Fan Ying, Lu Kaiyun, Lu Zonghe, and others. During their detention, practitioners were forced to wear instruments of torture, and guards instigated prisoners to beat them every day.
On December 21, 2007, while Wu Gang was crossing a bridge in Chengdu City around 10 p.m., his car suddenly hit the bridge and crashed. Wu's face was crushed. Only after the car was cut open were they able to pull him out. At 11:20 p.m., he died at the age of 42.
Zou Changjiu was an employee of Shuangliu County Detention Center. He cruelly tortured practitioners at the Zhengxing Brainwashing Center and he often extorted money from detainees. In 2005, he became ill and both of his kidneys were replaced. (It is suspected they were practitioners' kidneys.) He now looks old and unhealthy.
6. CCP Members That Defamed Falun Dafa Died
Zhou, who lived on Tanghudong Road in Shuangliu County, detested Dafa. Under the instigation of the 610 Office, Zhou often harassed practitioners, removed "truth-clarification" materials, and verbally attacked Dafa. Practitioners tried to clarify the truth to him many times, but he did not listen; rather, he continued following the CCP. He developed a serious disease and in early July 2007, he died.
Liu Maoqing was a forest worker in the Jitian Township government. In 2001, he was awarded 1,500 yuan for reporting practitioners, including Yang Wumei and others who handed out truth-clarification materials. That same year he died of cancer.
Yuan Dawa has reported practitioners many times. He claimed that he was awarded 15,000 yuan for reporting 10 practitioners. Now he has reported three more practitioners. One was sentenced to five years, one was taken to a forced labor camp, and one was placed in detention for several months. As retribution for his many evil deeds, one of his eyes was wounded by a rogue. None of the local hospitals was willing to accept him, and he had to go to Sichuan Hospital to get treatment. He ended up paying four to five thousand yuan for his medial expenses. When the local people stuck a banner on his door every day for a month that read, "Good is rewarded with good, evil meets with evil retribution," he tore it off every day, as he has no intention of correcting himself.
7. Karmic Retribution in Sichuan Gear Factory
He Jiewei, head of the Public Security Section of the Sichuan Gear Factory, in his thirties, started persecuting Falun Gong practitioners in February 13, 2000. Three months after that, his father died of illness. Now He Jiewei has serious diabetes.
8. Secretary of the CCP Committee in Shuangliu County, Zhengxing Township, Died
December 2, 2004, was Liu Chengshu's 38th birthday. Days later, on December 5, he died of cancer. He was responsible for persecuting Dafa practitioners and he often went to the Zhengxin Brainwashing Center to suggest ways to persecute practitioners. He couldn't believe it when he was diagnosed with liver cancer. He lied to his manager and said that he wanted to travel to Beijing. When he got there he went to different hospitals for treatment, but nothing helped him and he eventually died.
9. Feng Jiuwei from the No.1 Division in Chengdu City Police Bureau Received Retribution
Feng Jiuwei was a member of the 610 Office in the No.1 Division in the Chengdu City Police Bureau since the persecution began under the Jiang's regime. He sought promotion through persecuting Falun Gong. He was in Beijing in 1999, and in 2000 he returned to Chengdu City, where he cruelly persecuted Chengdu City practitioners. As a result, many practitioners were taken to forced labor camps and prisons and persecuted through a multitude of different means. Some practitioners were persecuted to death; some received heavy sentences; some are still detained in prison.
Instead of being promoted, Feng developed a bone disease and his back became very crooked. He understood that he had received karmic retribution, so he quickly left his position. Only because he realized this was his life saved. He said to others, "I shouldn't have taken on the task of persecuting Falun Gong to begin with."
10. Sichuan Province Police Bureau and Domestic Security Bureau Received Retribution
On the morning of March 19, 2006, when Chen Hong, the President of the Meishan City Domestic Security Brigade Police Bureau, and Yang Xiaojang, Vice-President of the Leshan City Police Bureau, were touring Emeishan City, they were in a collision with a truck. Yang's head was thrown out of the car, and the other three people, including Chen whose ribs were broken, were seriously injured.
Yang Xiaojiang, in his forties, was responsible for public security and was previously the President of Emeishan City Police Bureau. It was said by an insider that Yang was one of the main people responsible for persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. Since last year, many truth clarification material production centers in Leshan City have been destroyed and many practitioners have been illegally arrested and persecuted, such as practitioner Chen Anjun, who was beaten and his neck broken. Since July 20, 1999, many practitioners from Emeishan City have been persecuted to death, and Yang was one of the people directly responsible for the persecution.
Chen Hong, in his forties, has been leading the Ermeishan City Domestic Security Bureau since 1997. Since July 20, 1999, he has been following the Jiang regime to persecute Dafa, and is one of the main people responsible for persecuting Dafa. He was in a car accident two years ago.
Those who are still devoted to persecuting Dafa and practitioners should wake up: Do not take your lives for granted, and do not ignore wise people's advice. It is never too late to to atone for a crime with good deeds.
