(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Shandong Province) Around July 20, 2009, police officer Ma Yan (female, head of the Domestic Security Division), Feng Dayong, Zhu Hongtao, and others from the Domestic Security Division of Xintai City Public Security Bureau of Shandong Province illegally arrested practitioner Mr. Wu Qizhou by force and detained him in the Detention Center of Xintai City Public Security Bureau, located in front of Heishanhou Village of Beishi Town. Several days later, Mr. Wu was transferred to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo for a term of one and a half years. Just a year prior to this arrest, Mr. Wu suffered a bone fracture in his right leg as a result of police brutality while in custody.
On December 20, 2008, six policemen from Domestic Security Division of Xintai City pretended to be from the Dongdu Police Station of Xintai City. They went to the Security Section of Dongdujing and detained Mr. Wu, who was working there at the time. They then ransacked his home in the Dongdujing Community Area and confiscated several Falun Dafa books, a computer, printer, MP3 player, and other personal belongings. The police also took away Mr. Wu's wife, Ms. Liu Fengmei, and left the couple's 4-year-old daughter, Ziyu, alone in the house.
While in detention, Mr. Wu had a bone in his right leg fractured and his wife had a bone in her left wrist fractured. On January 15, 2009, the couple was sent home. Mr. Wu went to a clinic for the fracture. He had to pay all the medical costs out of his own pocket. Also, he was forced to pay the daily expenses of six policemen who monitored him every day. The cost totaled around twenty to thirty thousand yuan.
Around July 20, 2009, Mr. Wu was illegally arrested again, as mentioned at the beginning of this article.
Currently Mr. Wu is imprisoned in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Liu still lives under surveillance. She is followed every time when she goes out of her home.
