(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 8 provinces. In this report, 13 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 15 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yang Yujun Arrested
At about 9:00 a.m. on October 24, 2009, three practitioners, including Ms. Yang Yujun, were turned in while they were telling people the facts about Falun Gong. Police tried to illegally arrest them. Two practitioners got rid of the police, but Ms. Yang was taken to the Dianzi Brainwashing Center. Police then charged into her home and took personal items and a car. Ms. Yang is currently in a detention center
2. [Jieyang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Zhaodi and Ms. Lin Zeluan Arrested
On October 23, 2009, Ms. Liu Zhaodi and Ms. Lin Zeluan from Huilai County, Jieyang City, were arrested while they were handing out materials explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Over 40 different materials were taken away. Their homes were also ransacked.
3. [Heilongjiang Province] The Current Situation Regarding Mr. Qi Shuangyuan and Mr. Zhang Puhe
Mr. Qi Shuangyuan from Huachuan County was arrested in September, 2009. On November 21, he was illegally sentenced to six years. He was transferred from the Hongxinglong Detention Center to the Jiamusi Lianjiang Prison Training Team on January 20, 2009. During his imprisonment, he was tortured and started to have convulsions. Recently, he has had more severe convulsions. Sometimes, he convulses eight times a day and loses consciousness when he does.
Mr. Zhang Puhe from the Jiansanjiang Qindeli Farm was sentenced to ten years imprisonment. He is now n Jiamusi Lianjiangkou Prison. He is extremely weak and in critical condition.
4. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Teacher Wang Keng Persecuted
Mr. Wang Keng is a teacher in the Guangzhou City Fangcun District Middle School. He was arrested in July 2009. His whereabouts is unknown.
During the evening of October 5, 2001, he was arrested when he was giving out fliers that clarified the facts about Falun Gong in Ke Village, Haizhu District, Guangzhou City. He was taken to the Chigang Police Station and interrogated. He was then taken to the Fangcun District and incarcerated. On January 11, 2002, he was sentenced to two years of forced labor and sent to the Guangzhou City Huadu Chini Forced Labor Camp the same day.
On the evening of August 10, 2005, the Fangcun 610 Office arrested Mr. Wang and took him to Guangzhou Brainwashing Center.

5. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Yufeng and Ms. Yang Arrested
At about 8:00 a.m. October 25, 2009, the Zhaoyuan 610 Office arrested Ms. Li Yufeng and Ms. Yang from Zhaoyuan City while they were handing out materials that explained the facts about Falun Gong. Their whereabouts remain unknown.

6. [Nancheng Couty, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Yao Jing and Ms. Luo Lanqing Arrested.
Ms. Yao Jing and Ms. Luo Lanqing were turned in to police while they were telling people facts about Falun Dafa in Xinyu City on August 2, 2009. They were then arrested. Ms. Yao is now in the Fenyi County Detention Center and Ms. Luo in Xinyu City Detention Center.
7. [Shenze County, Hebei Province] Ms. Xing Zhuan Unlawfully Sentenced to One Year of Forced Labor, Now in the Hebei Province Women's Forced Labor Camp
8. [Chongqing] Ms. Han Xianping Persecuted
On September 14, 2009, Ms. Han Xianping from the Beibei District, Chongqing, was forcibly taken away from home by police and staff from the residents' committee. She was sentenced to two years.
9. [Zhengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Liu Shujun and Ms. Yang Li Arrested.
Ms. Liu Shujun was arrested in August 2009. Ms. Yang Li was arrested in September 2009 and sent to Zhengzhou City Shibalihe Women's Forced Labor Camp in October.
10. [Guyuan County, Hebei Province] Domestic Security Division Arrested Ms. Zhao Shouzhu
Ms. Zhao Shouzhu published a few articles on the Internet through QQ [an Internet chat client] sharing her own experience of how she recovered from her sickness through practicing Falun Gong. As a result, during the day in the middle of September 2009, the Domestic Security Division of Guyuan County arrested her at work, took her to the Public Security Bureau, and did not release her until 8:00 p.m. They also took a laptop and a desktop computer from her home and even extorted twenty thousand yuan from her family.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Xiaona Arrested.
Ms. Wang Xiaona in the Shijingshan District, Beijing, was arrested on September 11, 2009. She was sent to Beijing Daxing Women's Forced Labor Camp.
12. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Autonomous Region] Mr. Shan Jining Arrested.
In the middle of October 2009, Mr. Shan Jining was clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. He was turned in by a student and arrested. He is now in the Ningxia Yinchuan Detention Center.
13. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Mr. Sun Jiawen and Mr. Zhao Yunfei Unlawfully Sent to a Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Sun Jiawen is a taxi driver in the Hedong District, Linyi City. He was arrested in 2008 and then sent to a forced labor camp for one and half years.
Mr. Zhao Yunfei in Shaodun Township, Tancheng County, Linyi City, is a doctor. After being arrested in April 2009, he was sent to a forced labor camp for two years.
14. [Shandong Province] Practitioners Imprisoned in the Shandong Men's Forced Labor Camp Protesting the Persecution by Hunger Strike
Mr. Wang Haogui from Jian City started a hunger strike on April 10, 2009, to protest the persecution.
Mr. Gao Hong from Zibo started a hunger strike to protest the persecution.
Mr. Zhang Weixing is from Qingdao, Laixi City. A physical exam showed that he suffers from heart disease and high blood pressure. He started also a hunger strike during May or June to protest the persecution.
15. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Mr. Wang Kun Arrested by Zunhua City Dongxinzhuang Town Police Station
At about 5:00 p.m. on September 13, 2009, officers from the Zunhua City, Dongxinzhuang Town, Police Station charged into Mr. Wang Kun's home in Xizhuang Village, Dongxinzhuang Town. They stole his CD burner and took him to the Zunhua Brainshing Center. At about 8:00 p.m., the Dongxinzhuang Town Police Station collaborated with staff from the Zunhua Domestic Security Division, including Wang Kunyun, and barged into Mr. Wang's home again. They stole Mr. Wang's wife's wallet, which contained three hundred yuan in cash, and they took her to the Zunhua Brainwashing Center. She was released three days later.

16. [Hegang City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Guoyun Harassed by Police
On the afternoon of October 25, 2009, officers from the Hegang City, Xingjian Road Police Station, including Wei Maokui, went to Ms. Li Guoyun's home. They took an MO3 player, two MP4 players, and two electronic books.
17. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Luo Guolong in Ciyu Village, Yinjia Township, Shenbei New District, Arrested and Home Ransacked by Xinglongtai Police Station
18. [Jinan City, Shandong Province] Mr. Wang Jianmin Persecuted
Mr. Wang Jianmin was the director of the Advertisement and Information Department of Jinan Daily and is almost 60 years old. He was framed due to his job and was mistakenly sentenced and imprisoned in the Shandong Province Prison, where he luckily learned about Falun Dafa and started to practice.
At 8:00 a.m., on October 13, 2009, officers from the Jinan Shiliulihe Police Station arrested Mr. Wang, ransacked his home, and took his computer, printer, and CD burner. Later, his father Wang Baochen, a retire cadre in his 90s, was also harassed by police at home.
On October 15, Mr. Wang was forcibly taken to Dangjiazhuang, sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor, and sent to a forced labor camp. His blood pressure rose to 230/180, his heart beat was very rapid, and his lips appeared purple, so the labor camp officials refused to take him in. Later he was sent to the Qilu Hospital for emergency treatment. Mr. Wang still can't speak, and he can't move one side of his body.
19. [Tianjin City] Ms. Ma Yunxia and Ms. Wang Fugui Arrested. Taken to Dagang Women's Forced Labor Camp
The Tianjin City, Baodi District, Public Security Bureau, sentenced Ms. Ma Yunxia to one and a half years of forced labor, and Ms. Wang Fugui to one year of forced labor. The two women were taken to the Dagang Women's Forced Labor Camp on October 23 in secret.
20. [Shimen County, Hunan Province] Ms. Guan Yonge Persecuted
Ms. Guan Yonge in Changde City, Shimen County, is 60 years old. On November 20, 2008, she and Cai Guilan (who is 50) went back to their hometown in Baiyun Township, where they were falsely accused. Officers from the Baiyun Township Police Station arrested them. Later, Cai Guilan was sent to the Hunan Province, Zhuzhou City, Baimalong Forced Labor Camp and has been persecuted there for almost one year. Ms. Guan is now in the Shimen County Detention Center.
On September 18, 2009, the Changde City Intermediate Court falsely convicted her and sentenced her to three years of forced labor.
