Ms. Zhao from the service center, said that one of the purposes of the rally was to let the public know about the severe human rights violations taking place in China, where Falun Gong practitioners, Christians and other groups are being persecuted for their beliefs. The other purpose of the rally is to support the Chinese people who publicly withdrawn from the party and its affiliated organizations.
Many people who have read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party have been deeply moved. One such reader, Ms. Lin said, "I was shocked by the evil nature of the CCP that was exposed by this book. The book broke through the lies and propaganda that the CCP has made and helped me see the CCP clearly. The CCP is an evil group, and kind people should quit it."
Ms. Lin said that the book has helped a lot Chinese people to wake up and quit the party. She added that it is very important that more Chinese people join the trend of quitting the party so that the "Berlin Wall in China" will be eventually brought down.

On November 21, the Service Center for Quitting the Party in Sydney held activities in Sydney's Chinatown.
Mr. Ma, a contact person for the service center, remarked that it is great that more than 63 million Chinese people have quit the party and its affiliated organizations, but there are still lots of Chinese who don't recognize the evil nature of the CCP. "So, we continue to pass the information to the public through this rally, hoping that more people will join the trend of quitting the party," Mr. Ma said.
The volunteers at the rally held banners and displayed photos exposing the crimes of the CCP. Many people viewed the photos and talked to the service center volunteers in order to get more detailed information.
Volunteers also set up four booths to help Chinese people quit the party. They explained to people why quitting the party is an important decision for each individual. The volunteers passed out a lot of truth-clarifying materials and convinced a number of Chinese people to quit the party.
The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners, came to support the activities. They performed several songs and drew a large crowd.
