(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties and 9 provinces. In this report, 18 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 10 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chaoyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhang Qi Tortured in Panjin Prison
Ms. Zhang Qi is detained in the Fifth District of Panjin Prison. Because she refused to sign the "three statements" (required by the government as proof that practitioners have abandoned their faith), she has been hung up by her handcuffed wrists every day, and her whole body is currently swollen.
2. [Shuangyashan City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Hu Qili Sentenced
Ms. Hu Qili was sentenced to a four-year prison term.
3. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Xiaoming Harassed Again
Officers from the Police Department of Fushun City and the Xinbin County Police Department went to the workplace of Mr. Wang Xiaoming on November 13, 2009. After searching his private belongings, they took away Mr. Wang's e-book.
4. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Ying and Others Still Detained
Mr. Li Ying, Ms. Sun Liping and her husband, Ms. Guo Lan, Mr. Wang Qingwen, and others were arrested in Liaoyuan City. The police took several computers and printers, a bank savings certificate, and other personal belongings worth approximately 40 thousand yuan. The practitioners are being held in the Liaoyuan City Detention Station.
5. [Shanghai] Ms. Ma Yueying and Others Sentenced
Xinqu Court in the Pudong District sentenced Ms. Ma Yueying, Ms. Li Fuju, and Ms. Han Zhaohua. Ms. Ma was sentenced to seven years in prison, Ms. Han was sentenced to a five-year term to be served outside of prison, and Ms. Li was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence.
6. [Nangong City, Hebei Province] Ms. Chunfu Arrested
In early November 2009, Ms. Chunfu was arrested at her home by the police.
7. [Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Zhu Fengfeng, Mr. Zhu Qunqun and Mr. Wang Bumei Persecuted
Mr. Zhu Fengfeng was arrested in September 2009. In October, he was sentenced to one year of forced labor. In October, 2009, Mr. Zhu Qunqun was arrested. He was originally detained and interrogated in a hotel but has since been transferred to a local detention station. Mr. Wang Bumei was arrested by officers from the Xinxing Police Station and the Xianfeng Police Station. He was deprived of sleep and beaten several times until he lost consciousness.
8. [Hebei Province] Update on Practitioners from Zhuolu County Who Were Arrested in March
Mr. Cui Lu was sentenced to nine years in prison and is currently detained in the No. 9 Branch of the First Team of Yidong Prison in Tangshan City. Mr. Ren Kai was sentenced to five years in prison and is currently in the No. 6 Branch of the Second\ Team of Yidong Prison. Ms. Zhou Jianfeng, Ms. Cao Cuimei, and Ms. Zhou Jianzhen are currently detained in the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison. Ms. Zhou Jianfeng was sentenced to a five-year term, Ms. Cao was sentenced to a six-year term, and Ms. Zhou Jianzhen was sentenced to a four-year term.
9. [Baiquan County, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Liguo Detained
Mr. Zhang Liguo was arrested by the Shangsheng Township police in Baiquan County on November 9, 2009. He is currently in the Dong County Detention Station.
10. [Gansu Province] Mr. Chang Jubin Persecuted in Lanzhou Prison
Mr. Chang Jubin was arrested and taken to Pintai Forced Labor Camp in Gansu Province in 2001. The following year he was sentenced to 11 years in prison. Currently he is detained in the Fourth District of Lanzhou Prison in Gansu Province. Because of the persecution, Mr. Chang's face is swollen and he also has problems with his legs He is 43 years old. His elderly mother went to the prison and tried to visit him on November 11, 2009, but the prison staff did not allow her to visit her son.
11. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Zhang Jie Arrested
Ms. Zhang Jie was arrested for distributing truth-clarification fliers in October, 2009. Ms. Zhang works in the Qingfeng Market in Fuyang City Shopping Plaza.
12. [Xinjiang Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Jiaoling Arrested
Ms. Li Jiaoling, formerly a doctor in the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Wulumuqi City in Xinjiang, was arrested on February 28, 2001, and later sentenced to forced labor. After she was released from the labor camp, she left home to avoid further persecution. On February 17, 2009, Ms. Li was arrested at the Hami Train Station.
13. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhou Xuexia Sentenced
Ms. Zhou Xuexia from Guangzhou City was sentenced to two years of forced labor. In September, she was taken to the Chatou Women's Forced Labor Camp in Guangzhou City.
14. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Jiang Xuenong and Others Sentenced
Mr. Jiang Xuenong, Ms. Cheng Chunying, and Mr. Liu Yanfeng were each sentenced to three years in prison on November 5, 2009. Their current location is unknown.
15. [Beijing] Ms. Chao Xinzhu's Home Ransacked
Seven or eight plainclothes police officers broke into and ransacked Ms. Chao Xinzhu's home on November 8, 2009. Ms. Chao is in her 50s.
16. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Deng Yulan Arrested
Ms. Deng Yulan from the Yanjiang District, Ziyang City, was arrested for clarifying the truth to a family on the street under Dongyue Hill in Beimen. Ms. Deng is approximately 80 years old. Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
