(Clearwisdom.net) My classmate went to Hong Kong recently. When he returned, he was very excited to show me the videos on his laptop. As he showed me one he said, "You can see Falun Gong practitioners everywhere in Hong Kong. When you get off the bus, a practitioner will hand you a flyer and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. I have videotaped that. See, there is the practitioners' parade, resounding with gongs and drums and with banners that say 'Falun Dafa Is Good' and 'Heaven Will Soon Eliminate the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Quit the CCP to Be Safe.' It was so amazing. See, here are practitioners clarifying the truth on the streets, handing out the Nine Commentaries, and advising people to withdraw from the CCP."
He said with great emotion, "The Chinese people are waking up. They dare to speak the truth now! There is hope for the Chinese now!"
My classmate is an associate senior reporter for a daily, Party-controlled newspaper in Liaoning Province. He became a reporter for the paper after we both graduated from college more than ten years ago.
When we get together and chat, we both comment on how complicated society is these days and on the corruption of the CCP. He frequently interviews the provincial and municipal leaders, and I often see his articles in the newspaper praising the CCP with such phrases as "the splendid situation." One day I laughed at him and said, "After you became the Party's mouthpiece, your articles became quite different. They are just junk."
He said helplessly, "I don't read newspapers in China. I know how they are produced. Just as the web posting said, 'I am a dog of the Party--whomever I am told to bite, I will bite, and however many bites I am told to take, I will take."
After he visited Hong Kong this time, he was greatly influenced and changed by his experiences. When he sees friends and relatives, he will open his laptop to tell them his experiences with Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong and that the Nine Commentaries is everywhere in Hong Kong.
As an associate senior reporter of a CCP newspaper, my classmate has awakened. He encourages his friends and relatives to withdraw from the CCP. Because of his awakening, I truly feel that the CCP is coming to its final days now. Just as the Nine Commentaries said, "When people recognize the CCP's villainous nature and resist being deceived by its false images, the end will arrive for the CCP and its unscrupulous nature."
