(Clearwisdom.net) After I started practicing Falun Dafa, Teacher purified my body to a state free of illness, and my whole body felt light. The broad and profound principles of the Great Law strengthened into a solid, unwavering belief. On July 20, 1999, when the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began persecuting Falun Gong, I took myself as an example and clarified the truth everywhere.
One time when I was talking about Falun Gong, an old acquaintance said to me, "For an old Communist Party cadre, you're words are very brave." I said, "I cultivate Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the teachings of Falun Dafa, and what I say is all true. Falun Dafa teaches people to be good, heals their illnesses and brings them healthy bodies. Whoever practices it benefits. I wore glasses for my far-sightedness for four years, but then after cultivating Falun Dafa for four months Teacher removed that problem for me. I ask you, is there any hospital that has medicine which can cure far sightedness?" "That's so mystical!" exclaimed the people listening to me. I also told them that in 2001, my newly-born grandson developed heart disease, and my daughter-in-law also became ill and couldn't look after him. So I shouldered the job of looking after my daughter-in-law, along with all the housework. After eight months, my grandson's heart returned to normal, which the doctor said was a miracle, and my daughter-in-law also recovered. My grandson is now in grade two, and he's smart and healthy. He has memorized Hong Yin, sends righteous thoughts, and often sees Falun turning.
During the period of 2004-2007, I left the local group cultivation environment and went to another place. I could read Minghui Weekly but didn't have any other materials. I figured that wherever I am, I'm always a particle of the Great Law, and did my utmost to do what I should. After three months, Teacher helped me find an old friend whom I hadn't seen for more than 40 years, who is now a Falun Gong practitioner. I was so fortunate! In the book Zhuan Falun, Teacher said,
"My fashen know everything--they know everything on your mind, and they can do anything. They will not take care of you if you do not practice cultivation. If you practice cultivation, they will help you all the way to the end."
In this way, I again entered into a group cultivation environment.
Through Fa study I came to understand the importance of clarifying the truth. At first I only clarified the truth to people with whom I was already familiar, but later I talked with people I had never met. Again and again I enlightened to the truth that as long as you have righteous thoughts and the heart to save people, Teacher will bring before you the people with whom you have a predestined relationship. At banquets, walking on the street, at the markets, at CCP cadre gatherings, at the park, on public transport, at the bus station, supermarket or country towns, all are good places where I clarify the truth. I talk to fellow students, work colleagues, family friends and old acquaintances. When talking to relatives whom I haven't met before, I usually buy a few things for them and visit for a chat, and the vast majority are able to accept the truth and be saved. For those who don't quit the Party I still let them know the facts. For family members who are police station personnel I tell them that good and evil meet with retribution accordingly, in order to ensure that they treat Dafa practitioners with compassion, as this is good for them and their family members. They are deeply grateful.
When calling on people to make the three withdrawals, I've found that sentient beings sincerely want to be saved! I came across a friend I hadn't seen for decades. Some people I hadn't met happily greeted me by saying, "Haven't we met before?" I always know that Teacher is by my side, and I seize the opportunity. To this day I haven't missed a single chance. One time at the markets I encouraged a woman in her fifties to quit the Party. With joy and vigor, she said "Fantastic! Fantastic! How lucky I am today to come across such a compassionate person. How can I thank you?" I told her to thank Teacher. As we parted she gave me her address, and said she wanted to study Falun Gong with me. Later she started cultivating Dafa herself.
Another time when I was encouraging a retired teacher to quit the Party, after she accepted an amulet (1), she requested another to give to her relative's husband. She asked me, "Am I being too greedy?" I replied, "Not at all, a sincere heart towards Teacher and Dafa is rare. Why not spread the Fa when you return home?" She agreed. Another time I talked with a lady who was minding her son. After she agreed to quit the Party, she was insistent about giving me money. I replied that Dafa practitioners saving people isn't about money, we truly want what's best for you. If I accepted money, there's nowhere I could pass it on, and I would be committing a sin. After listening to me she cried, and I was also moved by her sincerity. Another time on public transport I explained the facts about the persecution to a college student. After quitting the Party she told me she had read Zhuan Falun and thought it was very good, but after the persecution began she hadn't looked at it again. I said, "Good child, why not cultivate? Follow Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance to be a good person. Teacher is waiting for us." She agreed, then said, "You truly are as caring as my mother." I said, "Master is the most compassionate. His disciples are all this way." These kinds of stories are common, and there are far too many to recount.
Master always emphasizes that we study the Fa, study the Fa. I enlightened that studying the Fa well and sending righteous thoughts well is the foundation of clarifying the truth well. Apart from reading Zhuan Falun, I also study other lectures and scriptures, and every time I study the Fa I have new realizations. Every time I come across problems the Fa gives me hints. When telling people the facts about Falun Dafa, I nimbly employ Teacher's words, tell people what Teacher says about a matter, and the result is always very good. It's as if Teacher has organized a script for me to recite, and each word has power. One time I clarified the facts to an old classmate, and laughing she replied, "Who taught you to speak so well? You've memorized Teacher's words. I remember when we were studying you weren't this way at all. A lot of people have told me these things, and I haven't believed them. But listening to you speak it, I believe it." She not only quit the Party, but afterwards started cultivating Falun Dafa.
In clarifying the facts I still have a shortfall, which is that I can only talk one-on-one. When I see articles on Clearwisdom.net about fellow practitioners talking to large crowds of people, I am reminded that I should quickly remove my fear of crowds, and advance forward another step.

(1) Amulet - In China, practitioners sometimes clarify the truth by giving people something small to wear or cherish, bearing a few words reminding them of the goodness of Dafa.
