(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 9 provinces. In the report, 15 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

On October 18, 2009, Weifang City Kuiwen District Court sentenced Ms. Cao Junping to ten years in prison. Hanting District Court sentenced Mr. Cao Junfeng, Ms. Kong Qian, and Mr. Ge Kun to nine years in prison each, and Ms. Yin Guohua to four years in prison.

On October 15, 2009, Daqing Prison tried to force Mr. Wang Yudong from Qiqihar to do slave labor, but Mr. Wang refused. 4. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Liu Yuying Arrested
On October 18, 2009, Haiqing Police Station at Dalian City Developing District unlawfully arrested Ms. Liu Yuying who works as a teacher. After that, they ransacked her home and confiscated many of her belongings. Ms. Liu is now detained at the Yaojia Detention Center.

5. [Anhua County, Hunan Province] Ms. Chen Ruizhen Arrested
Ms. Chen Ruizhen, retired employee of Hunan Province Anhua County Industrial and Commercial Bureau, was released from Zhuzhou City Baimasi Labor Camp and returned home in April, 2009. On the night of September 29, she was illegally arrested again when she was distributing materials clarifying the facts about Falun Gong. Anhua County Domestic Security Team ransacked her home and confiscated her new computer, three DVD players, disk drive, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, Falun Gong books, informational materials about Falun Gong, etc. Ms. Chen was sentenced to one and a half years and is now detained at Anhua County Dongqiao Detention Center.
6. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gao Fengmei, Ms. Li and Ms. Jiang Arrested
Ms. Gao Fengmei, Ms. Li, and Ms. Jiang from Changchun Automotive Factory were arrested when they were clarifying the facts about Falun Gong in Ouya Mall. They are currently detained at the Changchun Weizigou Detention Center.
7. [Baiquan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Zhao Yuzhi Persecuted
Ms. Zhao Yuzhi was born in March 1955. She used to live on Dongfanghong Street, in Baiquan County. Now she lives on Baoan Street, in Kedong County. On December 15, 2000, when she went to Beijing to validate Falun Dafa, she was unlawfully arrested by Beijing plainclothes officers and detained at the Beijing Haidian District Detention Center.
Three days later, personnel from Baiquan County 610 Office Political and Judiciary Committee including Chen Jiman took Ms. Zhao back to Baiquan County and put her in the detention center there. In the middle of March 2001, Zhao Yuzhi refused to pay the fine for practicing Falun Gong or write a guarantee statement to stop practicing Falun Gong. She was then sentenced to one year of forced labor and sent to Qiqihar City Shuanghe Forced Labor Camp.
This labor camp manufactures pesticides. Imprisoned Falun Dafa practitioners are forced to manually fill and pack all the pesticides for the labor camp. When Zhao Yuzhi was arrested in Beijing, Baiquan County No. 1 Police Station arrested Ms. Zhao's husband, interrogated him, forced him to make a confession, and locked him up for 24 hours.
8. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Song Minglan Arrested
Ms. Song Minglan is from Jiulong Town, Yingzhou County. She ran a snack bar in Fuyang City while she was moving from place to place in order to avoid persecution. At noon on September 18, 2009, Yingdong District Police forcibly arrested her from her snack bar. Ms. Song is now detained at the Fuyang Detention Center.
Since July 20, 1999, Ms. Song has been repeatedly taken to detention centers and brainwashing centers. She has to move from place to place to avoid persecution.
9.[Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Zhong Yifang Arrested
Ms. Zhong Yifang works for Panzhihua City Steel and Iron Group Company No. 2 Mechanical Factory. Somebody followed her and turned her in late at night on October 14, 2009 and Panzhihua City's 610 Office and Panzhihua City's Police Department National Security Team arrested her. Her whereabouts is currently unknown.
On the morning after Ms. Zhong was taken away, police went to Ms. Zhong's home and confiscated electrical appliances, books, money, etc.
10. [Huaihua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhou Chunsong Arrested
On the morning of September 27, 2009, Head of the Tuanjie Police Station, along with political instructor Yang Dan, led about ten policemen to forcibly arrest Mr. Zhou Chunsong. They also confiscated his laptop. Mr. Zhou is now detained at the No. 2 Detention Center.

11. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Mr. Ai Yong and Ms. Fu Yuju Arrested
At 9:00 a.m., October 18, 2009, Chen Fuzhi, Head of the Yi County Chengguan Township Police Station, and Political Instructor Xin Guolin charged into Yi County Restaurant and forcibly arrested Mr. Ai Yong and Ms. Fu Yuju, from Yi County. Fu Yuju is currently detained at the Jinzhou City Detention Center and Ai Yong at the Yi County Detention Center.
12. [Chongqing] Ms. Zhang Guilan Unlawfully Sentenced to One and a Half Years of Forced Labor
Ms. Zhang Guilan in Nanqiaosi, Jiangbei District was unlawfully sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor and was taken to Chongqing Yubei District Shabao Woman's Labor Camp.
13. [Dongfeng County, Jilin Province] Mr. Xu Dongping and Ms. Zhang Xiufang Unlawfully Sentenced
On the afternoon of May 28, 2009, Mr. Xu Dongping and Ms. Zhang Xiufang went to Nadanbo Town to clarify the facts about Falun Gong. They were turned in and the Shahe Town Police Station Head Fu Yumin arrested them. Mr. Xu and Ms. Zhang were held at the Dongfeng County Detention Center.
On September 8, 2009, Dongfeng County Court illegally sentenced Xu Dongping to three and a half years and Zhang Xiufang to three years in prison. On October 13, Xu Dongping was sent to Jilin Province Gongzhuling Prison. Zhang Xiufang was sent to Changchun Heizuizi Prison.

Ms. Shu Yulan was arrested by force on October 15, 2009. She is now being held at the Anqing City Detention Center. Her home was searched.

16. [Fushou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Wei Guanzhu and Ms. Xu Lianying Unlawfully Sentenced
On October 12, 2009, Jinan District Court unlawfully sentenced Ms. Wei Guanzhu and Ms. Xu Lianying from Fuzhou City to four years and two years respectively.

Because she was caught clarifying the facts about Falun Gong, Ms. Yu Shaoping, from Dayi County, was arrested to Chengdu Law Education Center and has been forced to undergo brainwashing for eight months. She has been separated from others for a long time and suffers mental torture.
Because he was caught clarifying the facts about Falun Gong, Mr. Wang Xiaosong was forcibly taken to Chengdu Brainwashing Center in April, 2009, where he suffers brutal psychological torture.
19. [Guantao County, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Yinqiang Persecuted
On August 6, 2008, personnel from Guantao County Wangqiao Police Station and Wangqiao Township unlawfully searched Mr. Zhao Yinqiang's home. They illegally confiscated a satellite dish, a DVD player, a cell phone, a disk driver, etc.
At about 5:00 a.m. on December 9, 2008, the Head of Domestic Security Team Shi Jitian led staff from the Wangqiao Police Station to scale a fence, break into Mr. Zhao's home, and take Mr. Zhao to the Wangqiao Police Station. At the police station, Shi Jitian tortured Mr. Zhao with the tiger bench and slapped him to the extent that Mr. Zhao's face became swollen and deformed, and his teeth loosened. 21. [Daliang, Liaoning Province] Zou Shuhua Arrested
Ms. Zou Shuhua is fifty-eight years old. She lives in Paoya No. 4 Section, Ganjinzi District, Dalian City. On September 23, 2009, Zou Shuhua police from Paoya Police Station including Dong Shiguo arrested Ms. Zou and her home was ransacked. Ms. Zou is now unlawfully detained at the Dalian City Detention Center.
In 2001, she was illegally arrested by police from Qingniwa Police Station. She was then sentenced to four years and cruelly persecuted in Shenyang Dabei Prison where she was forced to do slave labor for more than ten hours a day.
