(Clearwisdom.net) From my previous experiences, I know that talking to people about Falun Gong is not difficult. It is our unwillingness that prevents us from doing it. As long as we have a pure heart for saving sentient beings, we can clarify the truth with ease, since Teacher handles everything else in other dimensions. It is not difficult to carry on a conversation with people. I treat those who are predestined like my family and chat with them in a friendly manner. I begin with small talk, then I segue into the topic of Falun Gong, and this only takes a few sentences.
Teacher said, "As Dafa disciples tell people the facts, it's like sharp swords shooting out together from their mouths, shredding apart the rotten demons' lies. Lose no time and save them, hurry up and tell them." ("Hurry Up And Tell Them" August 21, 2002) Therefore, I seize every opportunity to talk to people. I tend to speak very fast, and I know that Teacher provides me the wisdom to know what to say. The more people I talk to, the easier it becomes. Most people don't seem to have many doubts and agree with what I say. I sincerely thank Teacher for giving me the wisdom.
On Chinese New Year's eve, I passed by a hotel. The owner was setting up firecrackers and preparing dinner to celebrate the New Year. I quickly walked up to him and said, "Are you preparing New Year's eve dinner?" He replied, "Yes, indeed." So I said, "I wish you a prosperous and peaceful New Year," and he cheerfully thanked me. I added, "Nowadays, making money is not the most fortunate thing, it is better to have peace. The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is not gaining people's support, that is why there are so many disasters. One will obtain peace by quitting the CCP and its affiliated organizations." The owner agreed with me immediately. I helped him quit with a fictitious name, "Prosperity," and told him that the gods would acknowledge his actions. He thanked me sincerely.
In order to clarify the truth well, we should study the Fa every day and follow Teacher's words. I read one chapter of Zhuan Falun on a daily basis. I also read Teacher's lectures and Clearwisdom articles and often send forth righteous thoughts. Sometimes I watch DVDs about Falun Gong, listen to the "Celestial Melody," and watch the Shen Yun Performing Arts' 2008 DVD. It breaks my heart when I see practitioners outside of China participating in parades holding photos of practitioners who are deceased as a result of the persecution. I can imagine there are many more practitioners in jails and forced labor camps. I wish I could save all of them, but I don't have the ability. I can only follow Teacher's words and tell more people about Falun Gong, save more sentient beings, and help dissolve the CCP in order to end the persecution.
My personal circumstances are difficult. I take care of my 86-year-old father who is also a practitioner. We practice the exercises and send forth righteous thoughts together. He listens to the Fa during the day and I read Falun Gong books in the evening. My father's retirement income is 96.60 yuan a month. We rent a place for 240 yuan a month. I'm also raising a child and spending money on truth clarification material. However, as long as I look at things from the correct perspective, I do not think that my life is hard. Instead, I think there is happiness amidst hardships and I feel fulfilled. Benevolent Teacher always makes sure that I have enough money to cover my expenses. Prior to 2008, I worked with another practitioner to make Falun Gong informational materials, and I have persuaded most of my family, friends, classmates, colleagues, and neighbors to quit the CCP. But I rarely clarified the truth to the public. In 2008, I focused on the public and persuaded 2,000 people to quit the CCP. During the 2009 Chinese New Year, I asked more than 100 people to quit. However, these numbers are far from Teacher's expectations.
I'm grateful for the opportunity to clarify the truth as it has helped me cultivate better. I will be steadfast and carry out my mission till the end to be a qualified Fa-rectification practitioner.
