1. [Xuanhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pang Liyun Arrested
On the afternoon of August 2, 2008, officers from the Huangcheng Police Station, led by the director, Gao Hong (male), searched Ms. Pang Liyun's home and seized Dafa materials and an antennae set. On August 15, 2008, they arrested Ms. Pang. She is in the Xuanhua Detention Center.

2. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Chen Fuzhen Arrested
At about 8 a.m. on August 1, 2008, Ms. Chen Fuzhen, staff member of a drilling plant, was arrested by Jiang Tianxing (male) and Li Jun (male), director of the Guanghan City 610 Office. The police officers also searched her home. Her whereabouts are unknown.
3. [Jiaocheng County, Shanxi Province] Mr. Li Guangzhi Arrested
At about 9 a.m. on August 15, 2008, Liang Zonghui (male), director of the local 610 Office, and Wang Dong (male) of the Political Security Division broke into Mr. Li Guangzhi's home and searched it. They seized a printer, some truth-clarifying materials, several Falun Dafa books, and other items. Finally, they arrested Mr. Li.
On the same day, the police officers searched three other practitioners' homes and arrested one female practitioner, who was released a day later. Before that, Ms. Xia, in her 40s, was arrested.

4. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Deng Guili Abused; Her Situation Critical
On February 25, 2008, Ms. Deng Guili was arrested by police officers from the State Security Division under the Jinzhou City Police Department and detained in the No. 2 Detention Center in Jinzhou City. She was covertly sentenced to three and half years of imprisonment. On August 12, 2008, she showed serious hypertension symptoms. Her systolic blood pressure was as high as 200, and her diastolic blood pressure was 140.
5. [Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Supplementary Information on Practitioners from Hongxing Farm Being Abused
On July 11, 2008, Ms. Deng Lijuan and Mr. Xu Jinshan, a practitioner's relative, were taken to the Qianguo County Detention Center by local police officers. They were detained until July 16, 2008, after the Olympic Torch had passed. On the same day, Ms. Shen Yajuan, Ms. Shen Yafen, Ms. Xu Yanyun, Ms. Ma Shuqin, Ms. Lu Guiying, Ms. Li, and Ms. Yan were also arrested. They were all released on July 16, 2008.
On April 21, 2008, Ms. Duan Liange was arrested and taken to the Qianguo County Detention Center. She was sentenced to two years of forced labor. She was taken to a labor camp three times. Each time. she showed symptoms of illnesses and was not accepted. At present, she has returned home.
Ms. Sun Hongyan from Hongqi Farm, was arrested by Xing Dawei (male), the director, and officers from the local police department. She was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is detained in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp.
6. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wu Xueqin Paralyzed Due to Abuse
On January 26, 2008, Ms. Wu Xueqin was arrested by officers from Liaoyuan Road Police Station. She was devastated for nine days and nights until she fainted. Her left leg developed several problems. She is now paralyzed.

Ms. Li Xiazhen, 68 years old, and Ms. Chen Shouqin, 62 years old, are from Qianfeng Town, Guangan City. On the morning of August 18, 2008, they were arrested by officers from the Qianfeng Town Police Station while they were explaining the truth about Falun Dafa in public. They have been held in the Chengbei District Detention Center.

9. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Practitioners Abused
On July 9, 2008, Ms. Zhang Junfeng, Mr. Zhang Kanzhong, and Mr. Zhang Shujie, all from Gaochuan Township, and Mr. Li Bingan from Tian Village, Cuizhuang Town were arrested. They are still detained.
On August 2, 2008, Mr. Li Huanzhong, Mr. Li Bingan's father who is also a practitioner, and Mr. Li Bingan's sister, niece, and three other relatives went to the Cang County Police Department to request his release. Instead of releasing Mr. Li, the police officers detained four of them, including Mr. Li Huanzhong. Later, Mr. Li's sister, niece, and another relative were released after the authorities extorted 500 yuan from each of them. On August 17, 2008, Mr. Li Huangzhong returned home after being detained for 15 days.
When Mr. Li Bingan was arrested, his computer was seized. Afterwards, the police officers searched his home again and seized several boxes of printing paper. A day later, they ordered Mr. Li's family to take their printer to the Cang County Police Department.

10. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Supplementary Information on the Persecution of Ms. Sun Guiling and Ms. Sun Quailing
At 7 a.m. on July 31, 2008, Ms. Sun Guiling and her sister, Ms. Sun Quailing, were arrested at their homes by officers from the Dengfeng Street Police Station and the Minzhuqiao Police Station. On the same night, they were taken to Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for two years. Ms. Sun Qiaoling is detained in the No. 3 Ward. Where Ms. Sun Guiling is detained is unknown. Due to abuse, her hypertension and heart disease have recurred.
11. [Beijing] Ms. Chen Wenbei Detained in a Forced Labor Camp in Inner Mongolia
On May 17, 2008, Ms. Chen Wenbei from the Xibalizhuang Community in the Haidian District was arrested by officers from the Dongcheng District Police Department and 610 Office. Her home was searched. She was detained in the Dongcheng District Detention Center. In mid-July 2008, she was transferred to the Tuanhe Forced Labor Dispatch Division, where she was detained for seven days and sentenced to two years of forced labor. She is now in Tumuji Forced Labor Camp in Zhalaite Prefecture, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
12. [Shanghai] Ms. Zhu's Whereabouts Unknown
Ms. Zhu from the Changning District is in her 50s. On July 27, 2008, when she was clarifying the facts about Dafa and distributing informational materials on Gubei Road, she was followed and subsequently persecuted. Presently, her whereabouts are unknown.
13. [ Liaoning Province] Masanjia Forced Labor Camp Prohibits Practitioners' Families from Visiting Them
14. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Hou Chunxiang and Ms. Niu Yanhong Tortured after Being Arrested
On July 12, 2008, Ms. Hou Chunxiang and Ms. Niu Yanhong were arrested by officers from the Hadawan Police Station. The officers tortured them to extort evidence. They first beat Ms. Hou until she became unconsciousness, then stepped on her stomach and poured water and mustard powder into her nostrils, ears, eyes, and mouth. Both of their faces were beaten black and blue, and their faces and mouths suffered injuries. They were detained in the No. 3 Detention Center in Jilin City.
Ms. Du Hongfang held a hunger strike for a long time in the detention center. Her health is not good.

Ms. Sun Xiaozhen, in her 40s, was arrested by police officers from Jiaozuo City in mid-May 2008. She is now in the Henan Province No. 1 Women's Forced Labor Camp.
17. [Gaizhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Shang Chun's Home Searched
On August 19, 2008, three or four plainclothes officers from the State Security Division searched Ms. Shang Chun's office in the Gaozhou City Art Academy. Afterwards, they searched her home and seized her computer and printer, which belong to her employer; more than 1, 000 yuan cash; five Dafa books; a list of people that quit the CCP; and a package of Falun Gong informational materials. Mr. Hou Wei and another practitioner who happened to be at her home at the time were arrested. Ms. Shang made her escape.

On the afternoon of August 10, 2008, Mr. Liu Guodong, Mr. Liu Shimin, Mr. Wang Xingkai, and Ms. Li Longying were arrested by police officers from Linying County.
19. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liao Peimin Arrested
Ms. Liao Peimin, about 53 years old, is a retired nurse. She used to work at the Chengdu City No. 7 Hospital. At 3 p.m. on May 12, 2008, after the earthquake, when she was explaining the true situation about Falun Gong near the entrance to the Chengdu City Sports Institute, she was arrested by plainclothes officers. Her whereabouts remain unknown.
20. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhang Wenjiang Escapes from Brainwashing Center
At night on August 1, 2008, police officers from the Yanzhuang Township Police Station, led by Zhang Lianyi (male), forcibly took Mr. Zhang Wenjiang to the brainwashing center run by the Guan County 610 Office. Mr. Zhang Wenjiang made his escape the next morning.
21. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Mr. Li Zhe's Whereabouts Unknown
On July 14, 2008, Mr. Li Zhe from the Changyi District was working when he was arrested by Li Tong (male) and several officers from Crime Division Police Team in Changyi District.

22. [Yongzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Liping Taken to a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Yang Liping, 38 years old, is retired from the Fireproof Factory in Yongzhou City.
On July 31, 2008, she was taken to a brainwashing center located in Qinglingsi Mountain Village by more than ten people from the Meiwan Police Station, her workplace, and the Xiahexian Residential Committee. She is still being persecuted.
23. [Jiaonan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ding Yueping Taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
24. [Chongqing City] Mr. Yan Chengyu and Ms. Yao Peisheng Return Home from Detention Center
At night on August 11, 2008, Mr. Yan Chengyu from the Jiangbei District was taken to Jiangbei District Detention Center by local police officers. Nine days later, he returned home.
Mr. Yao Peisheng, a retired physician from post office system, made his escape from Jiangbei District Detention Center after being detained for eight days. He has returned home. His wife, Ms. Zou Chongmei, is still detained in the Jiangbei District Detention Center, where many practitioners are detained. Mr. Xia Daoping, a dentist, and his wife, Ms. Li, are also being held there.
25. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ding Shumei Detained
On August 16, 2008, Ms. Ding Shumei was arrested when she went out to distribute leaflets that clarified the truth about Falun Gong. Afterwards, police officers from the Wulidun Police Station, with Song Heng (male) from the Security Division of the No. 38 Institute, searched her home and seized her printer, books, and Falun Gong materials. She is currently in the No. 2 Detention Center in Hefei City.

26. [Shandong Province] Mr. An Dehua from Bo'xing County Chinese Medicine Hospital Arrested
When Mr. An Dehua explained the truth about Falun Dafa to an intern, he was reported to the police. Sun Xueqin, CCP secretary and the chief of the hospital, along with police officers from the local 610 Office, arrested Mr. An while he was working on the afternoon of August 7, 2008. He was taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp the next day. Since 1999, he has been arrested three times. The first time, he was sentenced to three years of forced labor. The second time, he was also sentenced to three years of forced labor. This time, the police claim they are going to sentence him to another three years of forced labor.

27. [ Songyuan City, Jilin Province] Mr Liu Qing Tortured in Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp
Mr. Liu Qing is detained in the Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in Jiutai City. He was tortured for refusing to cooperate. The guards incited his cell-mates to brutally beat him. He was gagged to prevent him from crying out. As a result, he was injured in many places. When his family members saw him the first time, he walked out supported by two people. After a long time, when they visited him for the second time, he still needed support to walk. His head was severely misshapen. His lower back was severely injured. He could not stand straight and was hunched over. He was forced to sit on a bench in a fixed posture for six days and nights.

30. [ Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Hongsen's Wife, Ms. Sun Yukun, Harassed by Police
Mr. Li Hongsen was sentenced to one year of forced labor and detained in Wangcun Forced Labor Camp. On August 6, 2008, his wife, Ms. Sun Yukun, was arrested at her mother-in-law's home in Laizhou City. Since Ms. Sun exhibited symptoms of heart disease, so the police officers left her alone. She has returned home.
Ms. Sun Xiuhua from Dazhushi Village, Chenggang Road, was arrested at the beginning of August 2008. Ms. Xu Juan from Zhuwang Village was also arrested at the beginning of August 2008. Details of their situations need further investigation.
31. [Fujin City, Heilongjiang Province] Several Practitioners Arrested While Clarifying the Truth about Dafa in Erlongshan Town
On the afternoon of August 2, 2008, six practitioners from Erlongshan Town went out to distribute truth-clarifying brochuress. They were reported to the police and arrested by officers from the Erlongshan Town Police Station. Three of them escaped. The other three practitioners were handcuffed and taken to the police station. Two of them mysteriously got out of their handcuffs safely and returned home. Mr. Liu Hailan was handcuffed to a pipe. He is still detained.
32. [Duolun County, Inner Mongolia] Ms. Li Guiqin Arrested
On the afternoon of August 21, 2008, Ms. Li Guiqin from Baicheng Village, Mushan Townshi,p was arrested. Her copy of Zhuan Falun and two copies of "Minghui Weekly" were seized.
On August 19, 2008, Mr. Wang Jinxiang, who was arrested before, returned home safely.
33. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Supplemental Information on the Arrest of Ms. Liu Guihua
On August 2, 2008, more than 30 officers from the Guyuan County Police Department and Pingdingbao Town Police Station plotted to arrest Ms. Liu Guihua out in the fields. They first held her husband and two brothers-in-law to the ground. Ms. Liu took this chance and ran back home and locked the door from the inside. The director of the Crime Division Police Team broke her window, got into the room, and forcibly took Ms. Liu away.
34. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Lu Shufen Sentenced to Imprisonment
In October, 2007, Ms. Lu Shufen was arrested at a temple fair in Luancheng County. Since then she has been detained in Luancheng County Detention Center. In May 2008, she was sentenced to seven years of imprisonment. She held a hunger strike for more than a month and became extremely weak. To shirk their responsibilities, the thugs in Luancheng County took her to the Hebei Province Women's Prison on August 10, 2008.

Ms. Lu Shue from Lujiazhuang Village, Nangao Township, was arrested by officers from Qiandaizhang Township Police Station. She is in the Zhao County Detention Center. It is said that she is holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution.

36. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Gengn Yuanqun Goes Missing on Her Way Home from Work
Ms. Gengn Yuanqun, 38 years old, is from Tianfu Town, Wenjiang District. On the afternoon of August 17, 2008, on her way home from work, she went missing, and her whereabouts are unknown. Since the beginning of July 2008, she has been wanted by the Tianfu Town government and police station, which have offered 5,000 yuan as a reward for her arrest.
